Saddleback Mobile Veterinary Service

My dogs are starting to get a little older and they don't jump into my truck like they once did. I had been anxious about what to do about getting my dogs to the vet. I decided to search to see if there was a mobile vet and Saddle Back came up. They responded quickly and were able to schedule me for service faster than I could have ever expected. Dr. Bauman and Tiffany kept me informed of their arrival time and were very professional.

My dog loved the approach they used and it was probably the best vet experience I've ever had. If you need the benefits that come with a mobile vet for your situation, I would look no further than Saddle Back!

Dr. Bauman has been treating our dog for the past 4 years. A neighbor had recommended him and we liked the fact that he would come to the house to do the annual vet visit. Our sweet dog got sick this summer and we recently had to make the very difficult decision to put her to sleep. He came to the house to do the procedure, which he felt was the best for her given her age and condition.

We were able to lay with her and say our final goodbyes as she passed. He is professional, caring and always looks at what is best for the animal he is treating. I cannot recommend him enough.

I have never even got to the point of having a farm visit from them. Everytime I call, they are so helpful, telling me exactly what to try to solve our problem. It's amazing the knowledge they have shared. I am so glad this vet and his wife are so close to me.

Russell and his staff neutered and cared for my farm animals. Couldn't ask for a more genuine, competent vet to come out. He's good with tranquilizing the wildest animals, too.

We met Dr. Bauman when Mae was a couple of months old. I loved the way he introduced himself by sitting on the ground and playing with her. When it was time to have her spayed be came to the house. I held her while she went so sleep and help her when she recovered,

My family contacted Dr. Bauman when our 13 year old french bulldog, needed home euthanasia last week. I had a great first experience with Saddleback Mobile and it won’t be our last! We had our bull calf castrated. All went well, even though the weather was less than cooperative, and our bull calf has recovered and is healing perfectly. Dr. Russell and his tech, Wendy, were punctual and professional. I would definitely recommend Saddleback Mobile.

Good fast service, best care with animals, goats like Dr. Bauman and we do too. He's a good Animal Doc, we like the service provided. He does care about the animals.

Dr. Bauman is amazing. He absolutely cares about his furry patients and their owners. He is a great communicator, always making sure you understand what is going to happen, and what to expect. He is accessible after hours via text (if you get a response it’s important, if not, you’ll get a call in the morning). There is no one else that I would go to barring an emergency. Waiting for a clinic, but loving the at home visits for now!!!

Dr. Bauman were extremely professional, caring and knowledgeable when my goat herd was attacked by dogs. They took the time to text/call to check up on this guy, Roy, my Pygmy, and to provide detailed instructions on his home care and what to look for in his recovery. Dr. Russel is a great guy with lots of expertise. He comes out same day, normally within 1-2 hours or sooner. Even though he is mobile he is set up to do everything in the field the same day, which is a plus for when you don't want to drag your pets out to the vet clinic, especially if you have farm animals. Dr. Russel has treated my sick goats with success and then performed dehorning on older goats with great success and no problems, for older goats this is sometimes tricky. Saddleback is definitely the clinic I recommend and will continue using.

Dr. Bauman is wonderful. He and his assistant wasted no time getting over to my home on James Island to help my cat. Peanut is challenging to say the least, pretty aggressive and evasive to tell the truth. She had a leg injury and I could not get close enough to see it, much less get her in a carrier to take her anywhere. I knew something was wrong and she needed to be seen so I called Saddleback and got an immediate response.

When he arrived he and his assistant were so nice, and they put me at ease. Peanut had to be sedated, like I said, she is a bit of a challenging animal, and I could not bear to be in the room. Dr. Bauman sent me text updates from upstairs throughout his exam, and assured me of her well-being the entire time I was pacing like a maniac downstairs. After the exam he took the time to fully explain the problem, and what he had done to treat it. He even text me a bit after he left to check on her progression coming out of sedation. Thank you Dr. Bauman! I am so relieved to have Peanut on the mend!

Russell offers a fabulous service. He is great with our animals, gives them their annual checkups, vaccines and helps with issues as they arise. We have 5 animals and it makes life so much easier to have their doctor come to them. I highly recommend Saddleback Mobile Vet.

Dr. Bauman is awesome! He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and gentle with my lab (who can be quite challenging due to her past experiences at a local vet). He is treating a recurring ear infection and has been able to give her immunizations as well. The best decision I have made for my dog and I would highly reccomend him to anyone!
