Pinehurst Animal Hospital provides a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external veterinary laboratories. We also work closely with local specialty veterinary practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. Our Veterinary facility in Pinehurst includes a well stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house digital x-ray capabilities, in-house ultrasound, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor climate controlled boarding kennels and runs with several large exercise yards. Our special feline boarders are housed in their own area of the hospital away from all dogs.

Pinehurst Animal Hospital and Dental Clinic is proud to offer acupuncture services to our dog and cat patients. Acupuncture is the practice of inserting thin, sterile needles into specific sites on the body along nerve pathways and blood vessels. It has been used for thousands of years in people as well as animals.

Pinehurst Animal Hospital is one of the very best facility I have ever taken my animals to for care.currently Dr Means is my cat Gabby's attending Doctor. She is caring, always keeping you informed, calls when she says she is going to and does not rush you even when she has numerous calls to make. The staff is attentive and works hard to accommodate the patients and their parents. I can not say enough good things about this animal hospital.

Just moved to area and Pinehurst Animal hospital was recommended by our realtor. Great hospital - easy appointment to schedule, love the ePet Health website and welcoming staff. Dr. Ioppolo immediately got on the floor and greeted my dogs with love and hugs! Very thorough exam, listened to my questions and provided great feedback. I highly recommend Pinehurst Animal hospital!

I like the caring, cheerful, attentive attitudes the staff project and the cleanliness of the entire facility. I didn't have to stay in the main waiting room long as they have 6 private rooms where there are large computers with all a pet's history. The doctor took time to examine my pet even though I was there specifically for the 3 year shots. My dog didn't even flinch getting the shots! : The doctor even noticed how well my dog was groomed and I do fuss over him, so I liked that! You always see the same doctor and that means a lot to me, to have a relationship. I have already recommended this facility to friends!

Had a great first visit with my 12 wk old pup. Staff was very friendly and professional! Affordable services as well, didn't know what to expect but after a veterans discount my puppy got a full set of shots, wormer, stool sample, checkup and microchip for just over 130.great deal! Definitely recommend and will be back myself!

Called for a first visit with Dr Mack as a new patient. My cat had an issue, nothing life threatening, but they got us in within a few days. Was impressed with that for sure. Dr Mack is a pleasure. She explained everything and made sure I had no questions left unanswered. The office staff is very nice and the office is very clean and does not have that disinfectant smell that I always had at my last vet office.
This office just smells clean. Also nice big waiting area so your animals are not real close and there are separate doors for entering and exiting when you are done your visit.

Everyone is so kind and welcoming here. Today was our first visit and our veterinary technician was absolutely wonderful. He was very gentle when drawing blood from my dog and listened/documented all of my concerns. Dr. Means was very patient, sat on the floor with my dog and I ... thoroughly examining him and making sure my fur baby was taken care of. So excited and happy that I found this clinic!

Having reactive dogs makes going to the vet more stressful than usual - until I found this clinic. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure all their patients can be seen safely and without incident, which is a tremendous load off my mind. Each interaction I've had, my questions/concerns were addressed thoroughly and openly, I never leave feeling like I've been dismissed or without answers. I'm just so grateful to have access to such an amazing care team for my animals, I cannot recommend this clinic enough!

We are new to the area, and I was concerned about finding a good vet, one who would understand my pet's needs and not just rush through procedures and what not then charge a high price for hardly any service. That's not the case here. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the building itself is well kept and pretty, and the treatment itself was wonderful.
My cat can be temperamental at the vets (can't say say I blame him), but Dr K and the practice manager Jessica handled him so well. They ensured both him and I were comfortable, that all steps were taken to reduce his stress level, and that no stone was left unturned to ensure he received proper treatment. I am really impressed with the overall treatment (so is my cat), and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place they can trust to take their animals!

My regular veterinary practice of 17 years was unable to schedule an appointment for my dog for 4+ days. Although this wasn't an emergency, I knew my dog needed to be seen quickly so that treatment could be initiated. Pinehurst Animal Hospital was able to accommodate my request for him to be seen that day, although I was cautioned there might be a significant wait once we arrived.
The wait was minimal and every staff member treated us as if we had been clients for many years. Dr Tony was kind, thorough and professional with his assessment and treatment plan. Two days later, my dog's condition has improved dramatically. I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. My expectations were exceeded and I have found a new practice for all of my pets veterinary care. Thank you!

We love the new text feature and curbside pickup. Bella loves her vet visits and doggie day care playtime. She’s exhausted after a day of playing with her friends. I love how you all give me back valuable time by taking care of her medical needs or concerns while she’s at day care. I don’t have to stop and make another trip. Y’all are wonderful. Big shout out to Pinehurst Animal Hopsital, this was our first visit and we both were nervous. Luckly Dr. Ritter and Conner put us both at ease. My pooch is usually scared when meeting new people in a new place. As soon as they both came in our room, they got on the floor and loved on him and his temperament completely changed. It was so nice to see people who enjoy your pet as much as you do.
I could really tell they love their jobs and my dog was more than just any other dog to them. Thank you for making this such a great experience, that I had to rave to my friends about all day.

Brought my husky in for a groom & dishes treatment, and was beyond impressed! I love this place and staff for vet care, but now love it for a whole other reason! I wish I had a before picture so I could do a comparison, I've not seen Dublin groomed to look this good in years (even from grooming specific places).

I just can’t say enough good things about this office. Their staff and doctors are truly compassionate and treat your pets just like they were their own. My fur baby was recently diagnosed with insulin dependent diabetes. Needless to say I was terrified. I took him yesterday for his first curve. I highly recommend them.

My boyfriend and I did some very long and extensive searching for the right veterinarian for our dog Banjo. We unfortunately are having to make some very difficult decisions as he is faced with cancer and we wanted to find the best person possible to help us alongside the oncologist we have chosen for him. Dr. Ioppolo was a very kind and very upfront vet.
He did not try to upsell us on anything we didn't need and was very forthcoming with a prognosis for Banjo. The vet techs were very kind as well and handled Banjo very well. We were happy to also know they gave a military discount and the price for the wonderful care of Banjo was great. Dr. Ioppolo went over every question I had and answered as best as he possibly could.
I feel that in the future we will be able to make the best decisions for Banjo with his help. We will definitely be a future client with our other dog, Claire in her future veterinary needs as well.

Took my bad boy Bouvier Des Flandres, a beautiful guy but terrible issues with biting. He is stressed in any new circumstance plus he weighs 90 lbs. The staff was fabulous, very capable of handling a very difficult dog. Dr. Iopollo can't be beat, understanding and helpful. They are transforming the place so I would encourage anyone to give it a try.

It is very exciting to see the changes coming to Pinehurst Animal Hospital. I believe it will soon be the premier pratice in Moore County. The new owner Dr Iopollo is a top notch surgeon. His compassion and attention to detail can be hard to find. Animals even skittish ones love him. This vet and this practice understand pet owners and their fur family.

The staff at Pinehurt Animal Hospital are so welcoming and friendly! I've taken my 3 dogs in for their annual checkups and I felt that they were in good hands. My dogs felt comfortable and safe as the staff start to attend to their needs update shots /regular checkups. I did not feel like I am being sold more than my dogs needed. The standard office visit cost is very much in line or a bit cheaper than other places I've been to. I highly recommend!
