Marquette Veterinary Clinic

My dog has been going here for about 5 years now. He gets very nervous about going to the vet, but Dr. Brauer and all of the staff members are very patient with him. He is an older chihuahua who is very squirmy when it comes to getting his shots, but they do an amazing job keeping him still and making it as quick as possible. We have always had a positive experience here and appreciate the kindness of their staff!

They are always super helpful, friendly, and professional! They take amazing care of my cat. I can only recommend them!

The vet and receptionist were so nice to us, rooms are super clean too. They got us in the day that I called and they got test results back fast all in the same visit.

The absolute best vet clinic in town! Both vets are fantastic, they are very calm, patient and thorough. All of their staff is delightful and accommodating. We love Marquette Vet clinic and are so thankful for them.

Misdiagnosis 10 times in a row told to "switch food" and without ever doing blood tests. After 6 months of torchering my puppy, we finally found a good vet who initially did blood work in order to diagnose an infection in the stomach and intestines. Maybe not such an educated vet? Maybe there should have been more testing before diagnosing. I'm no expert, nor is MQT VET.

This clinic, the doctors and the staff are hands down the most progressive, knowledgable and skillful clinics in the area. A wonderful blend of father and son brings years of experience and the most up to date experience on advanced procedures. High quality medical care with exceptional client service. It is clear when you walk through the door the clinic has a harmonious environment and they strive to develop a long term relationship with you and your pets.

I am so thankful we have young Dr Ed. In a profession where progressive young doctors are choosing to work large clinics in big cities, we are very fortunate to have him here. I am grateful to have this clinic care for my fur kids. They are part of my family and I trust their experience and expertise. From reception to technician, doctor and owner. Top notch.

A month ago my dog was needing TPLO repair. I called the clinic and the woman on the phone was very rude. After reading all the terrible reviews, and knowing Dr. Brauer III is not board certified, I decided to go out of town and I am so happy I did! If you love and care about your fur babies I would very highly suggest going elsewhere!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value If your dog ever needs TPLO, I would HIGHLY suggest going out of state to a board certified surgeon. The staff and facility are not equipped for this type of surgery. Also they are very unaware of what type of medications to give a dog to keep him calm and comfortable after a major surgery such as TPLO.

Amazing vet clinic. Dr. Brauer consistently provides compassionate and comprehensive care in both primary care and emergency situations. I have nothing but good things to say about this clinic. Highly, highly recommend.

They were the only clinic that could correctly diagnose my cat. She is so much happier thanks to them! Extremely friendly staff and doctors, they really care about their clients. Always give plenty of options to allow you to make choices about your pets health.

I wish I could give zero star!! I made an appointment for my cat who is peeing blood. I made the appointment then the next morning they called and canceled on me. After the day before they even gave me pricing and everything. So if you want t o waist your time making an appointment only to have it canceled so they can squeeze in their friends ... go ahead make an appointment and waist your time and possibly you fur friends health! Its definitely a crap shoot. Its hard to find a vet who actually cares about animals now days to them its either their "JOB" or its all about Money!

The entire staff at Marquette Vet Clinic is amazing! Our poor mastiff Sarge wasn't eating or feeling like himself for 2 days; they squeezed him in for a visit, did a thorough exam, treated him, and he's back to his normal crazy self! I love that young Dr Brauer explained how much the testing was before he did it (to make sure we weren't surprised when we paid, I'm sure), and explained the test results so I could understand. We will always trust our fur babies to the Marquette Vet Clinic. Thank you for being awesome!

We always have a great experience at Marquette Veterinary clinic. All of the staff is friendly and the service is always so quick, yet personalized.

I have never been at a more informative vet clinic in the area. It amazed me how much time was spent with me and my dog, and the expertise of Dr. Brauer. NOTHING felt rushed. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience!

Dr. Brauer is so very kind and compassionate. He calmly and respectfully gives his clients options as to the best way to help their pets who need medical treatment.

I have never failed to receive exemplary care for my cats. My cats were neutered and spayed and had zero complications. The staff is friendly and you can tell the doctor genuinely cares for his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Brauer to anyone. My orange cat is 18 years old next month and still going strong.

Dr. Brauer has been absolutely wonderful treating our diabetic puppy. He was always available for questions and supported us through our difficult journey giving our boy a happy, healthy life.

They are such caring people, you can tell when you walk in the dog they love the animals that come thru. The best is my pets don't mind going here.

We moved from Virginia Beach and loved our vet there with whom we had a 14 year relationship with so going anywhere new can be daunting. My mother in law suggested we try them as she has been with them forever. We have not been disappointed. Most recently our 1 year old chocolate lab had to have emergency surgery to remove a blockage in his stomach.

They got us right in, and were awesome with Hank answered all of my questions and have been amazing. Our older dog is not crazy about the vets and is skittish with strangers but he does well with Dr. Brauer and we love that! Thank you for all that you do for our pets and families.

I know our town has other great choices, but if your uncertain...pick this! There's so much personal mixed in with the professional, that I don't think the pets even know where they're at! Not too mention, how good you feel leaving your pet in their care.

I was in Marquette during the summer of 2017 and while hiking Sugarloaf Mountain with my rescue pit bull, DakotaBear, he partially ripped off a toenail. Being from outta town, I was worried about finding a vet that would take us in as a visiting walk-in patient. I went, unannounced, into the Marquette Veterinary Clinic with DakotaBear. The office staff was so wonderful and welcoming, the assured me it would not be long before we were seen by Dr. Brauer.

It was less than 10 minuets later we were in the room with Dr. Brauer and he was super nice and understanding too. Dr. Brauer examined DakotaBear's toenail and at first thought it was just cracked slightly and could be left intact. However, after a closer inspection, Dr. Brauer decided and acted without hesitation to remove the toenail. I was so happy that Dr. Brauer acted swiftly and decisively, moving so quickly that DakotaBear didn't even realize what had happened before it was done. Dr. Brauer is very professional and knowledgeable, the people of Marquette & Harvey are lucky to have a man of his caliber to treat and heal their furry friends.

Dr.Brauer is amazing. He is extremely caring, patient and compassionate. He answered our emergency phone call Christmas night and met us at the clinic at 3 a.m. with a smile on his face. The staff is also very kind and so great at getting us in for short notice appointments. We are lucky to have such a wonderful place for our animals to go.

It isn't until now that I can talk about my experience with Dr Brauer and his staff. On July 21st, after 20 precious years I had to make the impossible decision to say goodbye to my Nala. She was an amazing cat, a mommy twice and a companion so full of love. She meant everything to me. We knew she was getting close and I didn't want her to suffer. Dr. Brauer, explained what we could do and what the remaining time she had would be like for her.

I just couldn't watch her waste away. The entire staff knew why we were there and were so kind and understanding. They gave us time to say our goodbyes and allowed us to hold her as she passed. I know we did the right thing for her. About a week later I received a sympathy card form Dr Brauer and his staff...of course I cried but what an incredibly kind gesture! Thank you for always taking such amazing care of my fur babies and for helping us get through such a difficult time!

Just had our dog in for a checkup. Always have excellent , friendly, knowledgeable care and treatment. Used a different vet in the area previously but switched to MVC and am so glad we did...much better care, concern, readily available , treatment and follow up. Absolutely love the careing staff. Always available to answer questions and concerns I have of all of my fur babies. I can't say enough positive things about this vet clinic. I've been going there regularly for years and have been so impressed with firstly the professional care from Dr. Brauer. Besides our regular yearly healthy visits we've had many surgeries,late night panic calls and end of life decisions. Through all of these Dr. Brauer has maintained a big dose of empathy and care for me and my pet while giving the best of medical care.

The staff always has a kind word or gesture for my pet as we enter the clinic. That has meant so much to me. I'm a very proud mama and when one of my babies gets acknowledged and not ignored I know that I have made the right choice in vets. Most importantly I trust Dr. Brauer and that is the bottom line!

The staff and Dr. are very compassionate! Our chihuahua Zoe was pregnant with one puppy. When she went into labor her water broke but the labor stopped. They were there for us even in the midst of their busy day. Unfortunately our puppy didn't make it but our Zoe did great after an emergency c-section. You will love the atmosphere of the office, very welcoming.

We had our dog Kryptonite for 10 years. Dr. Brauer was his vet his whole life and we always liked our experience there, but when we had to make the decision to put our Krypy down, Dr Brauer and his staff made the experience the least traumatizing it can be to make such a choice. They were there for us, got us in quickly when he was suffering so bad I couldn't stand to watch it anymore, gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision on which route to take and professionally but delicately and compassionately walked us through the whole experience. Thank you so much Dr. Brauer and staff...you are amazing!
