So many wonderful things to say! First I liked that there was an on-line scheduling tool. Dr. Karie and Joe were phenomenal! They were there on time, very helpful in rounding up my cats, took time to answer all questions, and went above and beyond! I will use them again and I would highly recommend them. Having the vet come to you for wellness exams and annual shots was so much less stressful than trying to put cats in cages! They treated my cats like their own pets. Thank you!

Last year when I took my dog for his annual vet visit, we were not allowed to go in to the exam room. When the visit was over my Scottie seem to be in a daze from the experience.. I decided this year I would try a mobile vet visit. I decided to use VIP Vet Visit. I am extremely happy with the service Dr Karie and Joe performed at my home. They explained everything, they treated my Scottie in a way that he was somewhat relaxed during the visit I would highly recommend their services.

We had to make the decision to euthanize our 15 year old dog. Dr. Karie and Joe were so caring, compassionate, and loving towards not only our dog but to our family. They explained the entire process and let us have time with our dog, talked to us about him, and made us feel so at ease. We were so blessed to have them be by our sides and how they made his last moments in a calm and loving environment.

Thank you to both for making a very emotional and difficult situation less stressful. I would recommend these 2 wonderful people to anyone looking to have an at home euthanasia. Thanks again for loving our baby in his last moments.

I found VIP Vet during the pandemic, because my vet retired and no one was taking on new patients because of Covid. My furry baby was now a senior and was having trouble getting in and out of the car. Dr. Karie and Joe came and made friends with Tasha immediately and she is a pretty protective Chow/German Shepard mix. They gave my baby the best treatment and I feel, me too!

Throughout the year, they worked with Tasha and her osteoarthritis and eventually we were able to go for short walks again, it was amazing and I was so appreciative. Unfortunately, Tasha recently passed away and every dog lover knows how hard it is to say goodbye to our furry family, my heart is truly broken. Dr. Karie and Joe, came to visit me and give their condolences and assure me that my angel now has her wings.

There will come a day when it won't be so hard to look at her empty bed or her collar and chain hanging by the door, but there will never be a day that I stop feeling the gratitude for both Dr. Karie and Joe. We are very lucky to have you in this profession! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

We Love Dr. Karie! My greyhound has anxiety and she has helped us navigate her anxiety. My girl could not wait to see her and Joe today. I scheduled my dog for an in home Euthanasia. The night before the service was due to come to the house I started having 2nd thoughts. I let Dr Karie know and she suggested a quality of life consultation instead, which I agreed to. Dr Karie was very kind, patient and understanding. She did a thorough assessment of my dog Cooper, and gave me suggestions that might help improve his quality of life.

She let me know that Cooper was in a "gray area" regarding appropriateness for Euthanasia, and that it wouldn't be a wrong choice if that was what I ultimately decided. I felt reassured and more peaceful about his situation and about making that decision going forward. I was given tools to help me assess his quality of life more objectively. I am grateful for the service she provided and will call on her again when needed.

She encouraged me to reach out with any questions or concerns that I have. I think having a service such as this, with an in home consultation, is so important for anyone struggling with making this decision. I would also highly recommend Dr Karie and her assistant Joe for routine or wellness veterinary care for your family pets. She is kind, compassionate and professional!

Dr Karie and Joe were a very comforting presence. We were so happy that we contacted VIP Vet Visit to come to our home. Our elderly kitty Charlie was able to avoid the dreaded car carrier and car ride and just stay home on his comfy sofa. The whole process was done in a relaxed and professional manner. Loved the soft classical music, very soothing for all.

Sir Charles was wrapped in a soft blanket and placed in a beautiful padded basket. We were able to keep a lock of his pretty black and white fur as well as a paw print. We and his "brother" kitty Scooter miss Charlie very much but we feel he had a peaceful exit from this world thanks to Dr Karie and Joe.

I cannot say enough about VIP Vet Visit. Dr Karie and Joe are professional, caring and extremely thorough. I have a very large 9 year old German Shepherd, Axel, who is not socialized very well and can get very anxious. After his vet retired and after a lot of research and homework, we reached out to VIP. Dr Karie was awesome. She was able to calm my baby down and give him a thorough exam.

She adjusted his current medication and added fish oil and another pain med. We have never had such a caring, thorough and informative vet. We have found Axels forever vet and any pet we may have in the future. In addition, VIP is much more affordable in comparison to any other vet we've had. Thank you so much Dr Karie and Joe. I had to say goodbye to the best good girl there ever was, my 18 year old doggie Maya. I wanted to have it done in my house where she felt comfortable. By now she hasn't been able to walk in almost 8 months and had to wear diapers. In the past teo to three weeks her cough was getting worse from the liquid gathering in her lungs. All she was able to do was kind of "flip" over from side to side.

I got increasingly scared that she would break her legs or dislocate her hips. I was hoping against hope, that she would just fall asleep and not wake up one morning.. She still enjoyed her food and would wag her tail from time to time ...she couldn't see too much and her hearing was almost gone. As hard as it was, the time has come to make the most heartbreaking decision I ever had to do.

I was very lucky to stumble upon the VIP Vet Visit and DR. Karie and her assistant Joe. They were very professional but also very understanding and full of heart. Everything was explained to me beforehand and they even took time to pet Maya and tell her what a good girl she was. Everything went smoothly and I was given time to be with Maya for the last time while they waited outside for my go ahead to carry her away.

Knowing our already anxiety-stressed Golden could be seen on the comfort of our hone gave us tremendous peace of mind! Dr. Karie & Joe are wonderful and truly compassionate care-givers.

I wish I had known about Dr. Karie and Joe way before today. My two cats will now be seeing them for the rest of their lives, which hopefully will now be for a good number of years. To have 2 cats and really not know if one or both are sick is a very frightening experience. These cats are my fur babies. They gave us all the time we needed. Honestly the entire process was more calming than the days leading up to the visit. We got all works the paw prints, the lock of hair, and the rose petals. The silk and flower covered stretcher they put our boy on to bring him to his cremation, was absolutely gorgeous. In a way it made me laugh in the best way, seeing my baby on this beautiful material, knowing he would have hated it, gave me a wonderful last memory of him. Seeing him so peaceful was really the greatest thing we could have ever asked for. VIP Vet was truly the best way to honor our boy. It's never easy to make this decision but if it's a decision you have to make, Dr. Karie and Joe are the people you want to help you through. In a time of need I was told I am not in their service area but both service maps they have, I am within their service area marked on their website. Even offered to pay extra even though I fall in the service area. On their website it also says they do extended area requests. Thanks for nothing.

Our dog Daisy tore her CCL and she couldn't walk. We called VIP Vet Visit because she was in so much pain we didn't want to move her to the car to get her to our regular vet. Dr. Karie and Joe came to our house 12 hours later and were so calm and wonderful with Daisy! Daisy seemed to trust Dr Karie and know she was there to help and both Dr Karie and Joe were super nice and personable as well. We may use them as our regular vet since Daisy is still so afraid of the car. Highly recommend!

We had VIP, Dr. Karie and Joe, come out to our house to send our cat, Pip, to the Rainbow Bridge, in early December. I had not been aware that there was anyone who did at-home euthanasia, until our cat had suddenly declined and the vet had recommended he be put to sleep. Instead, we took him home for a few days, as it was quite a shock to us. A family member told us they had done at-home euthanasia with their cat, and that it was very peaceful.

Over the next few days as we saw that the vet was right in her recommendation, I got the number for Dr. Karie and Joe and made an appointment. They were very kind and caring, to both our cat and to us. It was a very touching memorial service/ procedure as we saw our cat released from his failing body. He had known it was time to go; it had taken us some time to realize it, but Dr. Karie confirmed it was the best thing for him.

And better now than to wait until he was in kidney failure, which would be very painful, traumatic for him and for us, and probably last for hours. As it was, the procedure was very gentle and peaceful. In this time of covid, where mostly the regular vets, to protect their staff, have a drop off policy, or only one person is allowed in, it was so nice to have Dr. Karie and Joe come to our house, and we could be there with our cat, who had been a part of the family for 12 years. We both recommend VIP for anyone needing them.

After having to make the difficult decision to guide our sweet little dog to the rainbow bridge we are so glad we chose VIP Vest Visit. They helped make the difficult process easier. I was referred to VIP Vet last week, when I was looking for an in home vet to put my dog to sleep. I do not regret my choice at all. Dr. Karie and Joe were wonderful. They were patient, calm, and respectful. I can not recommend them enough.

Allie was our first and only dog and was a beloved family member. She turned 13 on 5/2/2020, and gained her Angel Wings two days later, on 5/4/2020. She was vibrant and loved everybody, especially our grandkids! Everyone who ever met her fell in love with her. She had the sweetest disposition. Unfortunately, Allie was diagnosed in late March with Lymphoma and after her second Chemo treatment she became anemic and developed diabetes.

We had to get the diabetes under control before we could schedule any further Chemo treatments. During this time her tumors grew at an alarming rate to the point where she was struggling to breathe, eat or drink and was completely zapped of her energy. Within a matter of two days, we had to make the hardest decision of our lives. She was in so much pain, we had to do whatever was necessary to ease her suffering.

On Sunday 5/3, we scheduled an in-home visit with Dr. Karie and Joe for Monday morning. After ringing our doorbell, Allie actually got up and walked to the front door to greet them and was wagging her tail. It was amazing to see her active and happy again, even for a short time. Dr. Karie and Joe got to meet our sweet Allie personally. Dr. Karie and Joe took the time to explain the process, asked us where we wanted to be in our house.

We went to the family room where Allie was looking out our back door into her backyard. She loved to run and play and chase squirrels. That was her favorite place. Again, Dr. Karie explained the process and asked if we had any questions. Joe gave Allie Cheese-Wiz, which she loved and devoured! Allie was given her first shot, and her labored breathing stopped and she became very calm. Dr. Karie and Joe gave us time to say our goodbyes before starting the next step.

We had as much time as we needed, and never felt hurried or rushed! The rest of the process was uneventful, and Allie passed very quickly and finally, was out of pain, and had her Angel Wings! Dr. Karie and Joe gave us more time to privately say our goodbyes. They were so caring and gentle with Allie and were able to take away her pain and suffering so quickly and without any adverse reactions from Allie, that we are eternally grateful!

After carefully wrapping Allie in an Angel blanket, placing her in a basket, we were given another opportunity to place Rose petals around her and say more goodbyes! As hard a decision as it was to euthanize her, she looked beautiful and at peace and finally, no more pain and suffering. Dr. Karie and Joe took time to explain the entire process, waited for us to ask any questions and gave us as much time we needed with our beloved Allie.

They were very calm and professional, and yet very caring and understanding of our situation. I had some follow-up questions and Dr. Karie responded immediately. Allie was our first (and probably only) dog, so to have Dr. Karie and Joe provide such a remarkable and reassuring process and to make it painless for Allie gave us tremendous comfort! We cannot thank you enough for taking the pain away from our Allie, and putting an end to her suffering. I made an appointment with VIP Vet Visit because my dog Buster is a sr dog with mobility issues and he has chronic gastrointestinal problems. He was having another flare up and his vet we've seen for the last several years, couldn't fit him in. I was able to set up an appointment for a home visit online for the next day. Dr Karie and Joe texted when whey were on their way.

They were very friendly and compassionate with my dog. Dr Karie not only helped with his current issue but gave me advise on food and supplements to help improve his gastrointestinal issues in the future and help with his arthritis. I'm forever grateful that I found Dr Karie.

Dr. Karie has been amazing with my dog, Ellie. She is able to make her feel comfortable, especially with services being done in the comfort of my home. But she and Joe also got to know Ellie and play with her a bit so she was more willing to have her exam. Thank you Dr. Karie for the individualized care of Ellie!

My beautiful Mia just had a rough evening. She swallowed a sock. I ran to my neighbor who is a Vet, she quickly ran over & was able to initiate vomiting. Mia did not swallow 1 sock, but 2. I was recently visiting Chicago from Montana with my 13.5 year old dog who had multiple medical conditions. After a week in the area, he contracted pneumonia. Imagine my distress to realize my best friend was at his final stage of life with his trusted and beloved vet 1,500 miles away.
i thank my lucky stars for the Google search that led me to VIP Vet.

I emailed VIP in the middle of the night, and they were at my dying dog's side by 9 AM.
Dr. Karie and Joe made this very difficult farewell a most lovely memory I will always cherish. Their compassion is genuine and they treated me and my sweet old dog like family. They explained everything clearly and with great care and understanding. Their gentle approach and delicate ways of caring for my dog and me just warmed my heart.

Within moments, I felt as if they were family too.
Joe and Karie have thought of every possible detail, down to an angel winged blanket and flowered gurney to transport my dog to the crematorium. Because I had to leave back to Montana, they were able to get my dog's ashes to me the very same day. I've never put a pet down before. I could never consider doing it another way or with anyone else than VIP Vet. The keepsakes they lovingly gifted to me will remind me of my beloved pet and VIP. They are Angel's!

We called VIP Vet Visit and Dr. Karie Johnson came out to our house to do an ultrasound to see if everything was looking good on the inside. She was so gentle and caring and my dog was totally at ease being at home. She diagnosed a small procedure we should get done on the hind end of my dog which we will get done ASAP.I highly recommend VIP Vet Visit.

We are absolutely thrilled to have Dr. Karie and Joe as our family Vet. After 11 years of many vet visits this was by far the best treatment my dog (Zoey) has ever received.
Zoey is very anxious to the point where I have to carry her into the doctors office. It’s amazing having a veterinarian who comes to you. Zoey was much more comfortable at home allowing Dr. Karie and Joe to effectively perform their services. Dr. Karie took her time and explained everything thoroughly.

She gave Zoey exactly what she needed for relief all while doing the necessary tests to find out exactly what was wrong. Karie also took the time to clean the wound and bandage it up. Dr. Karie was wonderful! She came to my house in Oak Forest and performed a full exam on my 8 yr old Border Collie mix. Dr. Karie and Joe spent a lot of time getting to know her. Kali is a super anxious dog and finally tolerated an exam, happy in her own home!
