Report
The doctors and staff at Pearland Pet Health Center know how important your pet is to you. Our goal is to provide the best quality and compassionate care. We believe that with regular visits, we can lengthen the life of your pet through early disease detection and treatment.
An exam by the veterinarian is one of the most important things you can do for your pet. We recommend they have this done routinely twice a year. Pets age very quickly, so 6 months to them would be the equivalent to 3-4 years to us. They also cannot speak, so they cannot tell us if they have been feeling off, or been having pain, so a physical exam can tell you a lot about the health and well being of your pet. Along with a vaccine protocol tailored to your pet's needs and lifestyle, we recommend semi-annual fecal checks for common parasites as well as annual bloodwork. A full chemistry panel including a CBC, tests for organ functions, and glucose can tell us a lot about how your pet's body is functioning.

Internal Veterinary Medicine-Diagnostics and Treatment
Report
When your pet is not at its best, it is important to have a full service animal hospital that can meet all of you and your pet's needs. At Pearland Pet Health Center, we have the knowledge and capabilities to handle something as minor as dermatitis, as well as the complexity of pancreatitis or organ failure. We have the ability to perform in-house digital x-rays, ultrasounds and electrocardiographs. We also have a full in-house diagnostics lab to receive quick and accurate results and also offer 24 hour hospitalization and treatment if needed.
Surgery
Report
Our doctors are highly qualified to perform all aspects of surgery from a routine spay or neuter to repairing a torn ACL. Each pet is treated with compassionate care before and after the surgery. All pets are administered pre- and post- anesthetic pain medication and sent home with detailed discharge instructions, tailored individually to each pet's situation.
We recommend presurgical blood work on any pet being anesthetized. This can be run in-house, the morning of surgery.

Dr. May and his staff are AWESOME!! I saw Dr. May on an emergency basis months ago when my rabbit became suddenly ill and no local vet would work her into their schedule (I live an hour away from Pearland), yet Dr. May gladly saw her. I've been so impressed with the care my rabbit has received for her chronic illness, that I now take all of my pets to Dr. May.
He is WELL worth the TWO HOUR round trip drive even for routine care! Dr. May is extremely knowledgable, personable and kind. He has a vested interest in my pets and it shows. I cannot imagine working with a greater vet. I wish I had found this clinic years ago. Thank you Dr. May and staff for taking such excellent care of my pets!

Highly recommend this vet for all bunny owners!! Dr. May went above and beyond to get a vaccine to protect the rabbit population against the terrible RHDV2 virus going around, and his staff was super friendly and kind during the whole drop off process when it came time to get them vaccinated!! We will definitely use them again in the future!!

I was recommended here and I can’t be more happy that I was. The staff and Dr. May were great. Dr. May explain everything so well and called me every morning to give me updates on my little one. He even called the next morning after he had been discharged just to see how the night went. Thank you Dr. May and your staff.

Dr. May has been my vet for almost 20 years. His staff is great but a special "thank you" to Kit. Manley makes the time to talk about whatever you need to discuss, talks to your pet with kindness and compassion, explains everything in detail. Sunshine is now 16+ and Manley is a big part of why she is still here and healthy. Sunshine is my heart and you don't trust your heart to just anyone. Thanks, Manley.
