Preston Royal Animal Clinic

Looked it up and was thrilled to see this animal clinic still exists! Worked there with Dr. Cam'eron in the 70s. It was a great place then, also.

Wonderful staff. So loving and caring. This was the first vet I've ever been to that my dog liked and felt calm in. I'm so happy to have found them.

Not only was this a positive experience with the incredibly kind and skilled vet techs, but our veterinarian was so knowledgeable and patient with our two cats/fur babies. We have finally found our forever vet clinic. The whole process of making an appointment and the front office staff were amazing as well! Cannot recommend thus clinic enough.

Always amazing! The team is fantastic and we would drive as far as needed to get this great service. Rooms are always clean and the team always tries to do all they can and then some Though the parking is not my favorite is better than the other location. They believe in positive reinforcement and have a great memory for their patients and their parents.

I came to Preston Royal at a critical time in my baby Brownie's life. I keep thinking if I had brought him here sooner maybe we could've caught the cancer sooner and he would've had a better chance. We were in and out of this office enough times in the last 3-4 months that he got to meet several of the vets there. I'm grateful for all of the vets and techs for doing what they could to help him and make him feel loved and comfortable as possible until the very end.

We gave it a good fight for about four months with chemo and the treatments helped at the start and bought me extra time with my sweet boy. The vets helped me focus on his quality of life and I was able to put him to rest while he was still mostly himself, and I was able to send him out the way he deserved and stayed by his side until the very end.

Simba and I love our visits at the Preston Royal Animal Clinic. The staff is wonderful and attentive and they take the time needed to care for your furry family members. We moved away from Dallas but will still make the trip into town for our annual visits! Highly recommended!

These people are great. Twice now my little Doodle has had a serious fever in the morning. Without an appointment or any prior notice, on both occasions, they took her in, kept her all day, and provided effective care that resolved the problem. A+

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Carrera and her team. This was our first visit to the clinic, so we didn't know what to expect. When you walk in it smells CLEAN. We had to wait about 30 seconds while they vacuumed the exam room. We were so impressed at that level of cleanliness. The very sweet tech took her time with our kitties getting their vitals.

She was very gentle with them, and you could tell she liked cats. Dr. Carrera was also very sweet and gentle. You could tell she was a cat lover and not all vets are. I have complained to about 5 vets at other clinics that there was something wrong with one of my cat's ears. Dr. Carrera actually listened and took a scraping. My poor baby has had a skin infection on this ear for about three years and she's the first one to take the time to diagnose him. One day and an antibiotic shot later, we can already see the improvement in his ear. If you're looking for a thorough vet, go see Dr. Carrera.

I called yesterday to get my 14 year old kitty in for an appointment as he was overdue for a checkup and his rabies shot, and they were able to get us in same day. My cat is not a fan of new places and new people, but the staff at PRAC was absolutely wonderful with him and made the whole experience as stress-free as possible. They even called today to check in and see how he is doing after his visit and vaccination yesterday, which was a really nice touch.

We have been taking pets to Preston Royal for over 20 years. We love all the people there. They are kind and helpful and are quick to respond to questions. Dr. Young is our personal favorite but all the vets and techs there have been excellent. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Excellent and professional clinicians. Fair fees (not inexpensive but reasonable when you consider the market and the quality of care). Had our 11yo Spaniel's teeth cleaned and he is not an easy patient to deal with. Cost was slightly less than their quote and much less than previous vet dentist we used. Their protocol requires blood chemistry panel for pet's safety before undergoing anesthesia.

Also Anesthesia tech assists while experienced vet focuses on cleaning. Great result and very patient support staff helped address our questions and calm our anxiety as pet parents. Kudos to Dr. Jeffrey Young DVM.

Dr. Fuller has the unique and much appreciated ability to be candid, caring, informative and real. I have so much respect for her. The passion and the science. I can't thank you enough for giving my baby girl, Bee, relief. And giving me the education and ability to have another, nearly three months with her. We needed them. And they were good months. You're a good vet. And the team. they are a team. Reliable. Love you guys.

This is the only place I will ever take my pets for care. They are very quick and professional! I have been seeing Dr. Young for my pets for the past few years and his knowledge is amazing. Highly recommended!!!

My 2 year old kitty had an upset stomach for 72 hours when I called Preston Royal Animal Clinic. They were very sympathetic and got me an appointment quick! The technicians were warm and very informative. I felt very safe leaving my kitty in their care. The doctor was kind and thorough and treated my kitty like it was her own! I highly recommend them and they in turn have made a life long customer. Thank you!

I will never take my buddies anywhere else as long as I am able to bring them here. They are always on time, professional, and friendly when dealing with me in person and on the phone, and they clearly adore my animals when I bring them in. When my 16 year old chihuahua and best friend Vito was diagnosed with kidney failure and needed to be euthanized, I could not have asked for more than they gave.

They were kind, understanding, unobtrusive, and respectful through the entire process from breaking the news to me, answering my questions, being flexible with their schedule, and making sure he was handled in a way that caused no additional pain to Vito or me. I mostly see Dr. Anya when I bring my two cats in now, and she is just wonderful. Knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to spend the time to explain everything and answer any questions I have. And she tells me how perfect and sweet they are, so that's always nice

What can you say about an absolutely superb vet??? Dr. Young is truly an asset to his profession. We had adopted a little orange tabby kitten from the Dallas County SPCA a few days before Christmas. He was GREAT! We named him Thomas, but after the New Year, we noticed that his little back legs were wobbling. We took him to my veterinary office that I've been going for over 45 years, and the doctor there said "we don't know what this is." So he gave us an antibiotic and an anti-parasite drug to give the kitten.

After a few days, we went back, and he said "keep doing what we gave you." After a day, I decided to go for a second opinion. I called Preston Royal Animal Clinic and immediately got a reservation for the next day. Dr. Young saw and he was brilliant and a true asset to his practice. HE SPENT OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF WITH US!!! He did a lot of testing, and tooks some blood for a test, and it was TESTED ON SITE!!!

The results were devastating - -our little kitten had contracted FIP, which is fatal 100% of the time. Dr. Young also called a neurological specialist friend of his and gave him the blood test results, and that confirmed the diagnosis. Dr. Young even took an x-ray to satisfy his own diagnosis, and there was no charge. Dr. Young is a true asset to his profession and his care of animals is clear.

We couldn't emotionally put him down that afternoon, but 2 days later we were back. The Veterinary Technician who had looked after our little Thomas cat came out and said "we're sorry for your loss" and in fact several of the technicians came out and said the same. We are absolutely devastated by the loss of this kitten, but we have gained a new vet!!

We have a Carolina Dog, and Tanya will be going to see these veterinarians starting in February. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC!! I've post a similar review to google because I think that this veterinarian office that THAT good.

Dr. Shanna Landy is incredible. I highly recommend her, especially if you need a vet who specializes in rabbit care. My rabbit broke her spine suddenly one day and I needed to find a vet who had experience treating rabbits. I called immediately and made an appointment and the receptionist who answered was very sympathetic and helpful. We were seen by Dr. Landy promptly.

She was very caring and so gentle with Judy. After taking an x-ray, our worst fears were realized. We had to put Judy to sleep because a broken spine affects the rabbits neurological function. Even though I wasn't planning on not returning home with my little one, Dr. Landy made us feel absolutely comfortable. Her demeanor was sincere and relaxed.

Not only was I not prepared to do this, but I had never put a pet of mine to sleep before. We were able to take our time and the whole staff made themselves available to us for whatever we needed. We even went next door to Central Market to get some last snacks for her. When it was time, Dr. Landy even let me hold her and be with her some after. We decided to get her cremated and she was ready about a week later.

There was a card included from Dr. Landy and staff with handwritten condolences. That was a unexpected, wonderful surprise. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Landy and staff for being so understanding and great. This is my new favorite veterinary clinic!

My husband and I have been using this office for almost a year now and we have referred many of our friends to them because of their kindness. They treat our little guy like part of their family and he loves to go there and visit his friends. Great friendly staff that truly enjoy their job and working with animals!

I've been using this clinic for 30 years and I think it has improved over the years. Fell in love w Dr Desai and she moved away and then started seeing Dr. Sara Thomas-who we love! So caring and professional. The vet techs are so loving too. I saw a different vet yesterday for a last minute appt and she seemed knowledgeable and very kind. (Very easy to get a last minute appt.)-- my brother is a vet in McKinney so I consult him a lot and they are great to work with him as well.
Had to laugh about the parking-it is AWFUL at Preston Royal no matter which corner but there is parking in the back which is an option.

I have a 10 month old puppy who has had a lot of gastrointestinal issues from vomiting and diarrhea. He was on 5 different medications as well as 3 different types of food all in which were not helping as well as in almost $3,000 of medical bills. I decided to switch vet clinics and saw Dr. Young. My dog is off all his medications and on the right diet and could not be happier. Awesome customer service and best quality of care delivered to our dog as well as my husband and I!!

Came here several times while our favorite Doctor was here. The techs and front office staff were super nice and obviously care a lot about animals.

These people really care and my dogs love them. I have been really please with the level of service I have received at Preston Royal. I have only been a client for a year since I moved to north Dallas however I have been in there at least 5 times and have been happy every time so far.
