The absolute worst service. They left me in a waiting room for two hours after they shaved my dogs stomach awaiting a traveling ultrasound technician that never came and they let me know they were actually doing me a courtesy after I was told to find a vet that has an ultrasound on staff so that could meet my expectations. If youd like your time absolutely wasted with no udpate estimate or help, do come for the excellent staff

East Chapman Veterinary Center took very good care of our mini dachshund, Sophie. She went in for a non-anesthetic dental cleaning by Chuck, their kind dental technician. He is able to work with even high anxiety dogs like Sophie! Chuck did a great job on Sophie, until he found a problem that he needed to stop and have the Vet evaluate. Sophie had a resorptive lesion on her carnassial tooth.

At that point they knew she would need to be put under anesthesia to extract that tooth and finish the cleaning. Before even starting, I explained Sophie's medical history of 3 IVDD surgeries, so we are very careful to let everyone know to be gentle with her back. The Vet, Dr. Shayda was very caring and compassionate. She took the time to explain everything to me.

I was very impressed. We are grateful for the care Sophie received. The people in the office are all very friendly. I would recommend East Chapman Veterinary to anyone with a pet.

I originally went to East Chapman Veterinary for a second opinion and to get guidance on what to do about my cat’s frequent urination. The last visit with the vet at the Hospital up the road advised to give him Pepsid and that he is getting old and simply left it at that. I was impressed how Dr Shayda took action for clearly explaining next steps to do, including an ultrasound, which revealed a bladder tumor.

From there, she clearly provided options for next steps, including a consultation with an oncologist, who provided a palliative treatment plan, including administrative of fluids. Today, Darlene and Adelia were so kind to show me how to administer fluids. I am so grateful for the assistance I have received to help my kitty feel comfortable.

Thank you for taking care of the babes today during their appointment!
Dr. Shayda has been our veterinarian for about 8 years now. I have 4 dogs with special needs and she is the only doctor I trust to care for them. So much so that we drive 2 hours each way to see her at ECVC.
Dr. Shayda is caring, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable, as is the entire team. Thank you

This place has always been a safe and happy place for all my animals to come to. The staff is the most welcoming, caring and reassuring group of individuals that I have met at any type of office! The doctors have always taken the best care of my pets! Even though the pandemic and all the changes they have always been so accommodating and helpful! All that matters is that the animals are cared for.. but they go above and beyond! They even ask about my family! They are the best!

I’m elated to be the first review. I’m gonna set the bar really high thereby establishing a benchmark that I’m confident you will surpass.
Admittedly I transferred vets because my dear friend and animal magnet Darlene Crane came to work here. I brought my now 10 year old fur child, ride or die, my reason for living Cielo in for her yearly exam check up etc. two weeks ago.

For the last six years at the yearly exam at the other vet I have been informing the vet that she’s marking and please check her for UTI. The Test they did would come back clear and they were just chalk it up to a behavioral problem. At this appointment I expressed my concerns for the seventh year in a row and Doctor said “it seems to be an ongoing problem I want to test her kidney function.”
I’m down. Let’s do it.

Then came the news I didn’t want to hear and that her kidney function is extraordinarily low, her urine is not being filtered she has super concentrated urine. I got really angry that for six years the other vet didn’t think out of the box enough to test this and that now this new vet Actually caught this. So now she’s on a twice a day medication and a very strict low to no phosphorus Renal care diet To try to fix or improve her kidney function.

I am more than grateful the doctor had the care and knowledge to think outside the box into test the kidney function and save my baby. Or at least buy her a few more years. The staff is amazingly Nice and very communicative. I am so grateful I found this clinic and cannot recommend them high enough. Truly a 5 ⭐️ place!
