Dental
Report
Dental disease left untreated can cause heart, liver, and kidney disease along with tooth root abscesses that can be painful to your pet.
Our digital x-ray machines (coming soon) help us evaluate each tooth so we can see tooth root concerns, perform extractions, and send images to specialists if appropriate. Up to 80% of dental disease is under the gum line and often not visible by the naked eye, which is why dental x-rays are so important. They also aid with appropriate extractions and verify no complications were made during extraction.

We had a great first experience with Dr. Fahnestock, Janessa, and Stacey. I adopted a rescue pup (always rescue!) and after about 3 weeks with us she had a weird allergic reaction that we literally couldn't place what caused. I thought it was mites and we didn't have an established vet so we were really struggling to get in anywhere for at least two weeks - we hadn't had a chance to "interview" new vets yet.
They made the first experience great! I felt like they were great listeners, and fitting us in quickly was awesome. I felt like I learned a lot about dog allergies in our short visit. :) I'm glad we found a new vet! Olive appreciated the treats and pets!

Our pets are family. It is hard to imagine taking our 4-legged and very spoilt brat to a vet office that would not treat them, like our other children. Kind, is refreshing in its approach, its staff and its ethos. It is really about treating these beings with the same courtesy and regard as we expect as humans. Not only are the facilities well located and furnished, small touches like the comfortable, pet-friendly rooms and waiting areas as well as well trained staff, from the front desk, the technicians and, of course, the vets make this a wonderful overall experience.
It is nerve-wracking to think about having to visit a new pediatricians and primary care physicians, and no less when we bring our canine adoptee. Kind Veterinary care made us comfortable, made our very large and very nervous dog comfortable and helped untangle our nerves as we congratulated ourselves on the correctness of our decision to adopt Kind as our family vet.

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Alicia for a couple of years now and I have followed her from her previous practice because she is genuinely the most compassionate and dedicated vet. I had to have my previous dog put down which was one of the most difficult decisions I've ever made. Dr. Alicia was so incredibly kind to me and my dog. She supported both of us through the process and made me and Sophie feel cared for.
I have since taken my other two dogs, Penny and Rusty, to her at Noah's Ark Vet and Kind Veterinary Care and she treats them like family. As long as I am in or around St. Louis I will continue to take my pets to Dr. Alicia and her colleagues. I cannot recommend Dr. Alicia and her clinics enough.

I have used this Vet for multiple pets throughout my life, after adopting a new pup, I took him in and met the current staff and I was extremely happy with my visit. The staff was kind and patient with my dog and he warmed up to them very quickly. He was a rescue so he is very timid of other people. He was very happy with the visit too. I would absolutely recommend this vet to anyone.

After my mom passed I inherited her most prized possession, her baby and her love - Mochachino. Mochi had some sinus issues as well as a thyroid problem, however all the notes from previous vet listed that she had to be sedated! also, it seems that even though we would do whatever they asked it never made much of a difference. My sisters and I decided for a fresh approach after a referral from a good friend of mine!
What a difference!! Mochi was a perfect girl today, they even checked her teeth with no sedation....went on a different course for meds, and I totally felt that they were genuinely concerned and understood!! This is my vet from here on out! Thank you so much!
