Services
We aim to empower and educate you to be the ultimate advocate for your pet's end-of-life care. Our pet hospice program offers three types of consultations. We can support your pet by providing a personalized house call to assess them in the familiar surroundings of your home. This allows us to observe your pet in their home environment, helping you recognize their unique subtle behaviors and cues indicating pain.
I would be delighted to discuss your pet's individual circumstances with you over the phone. I will offer guidance by sharing information about the process of passing, aftercare, and creating a memorial for your pet. Throughout this decision-making process, you will benefit from my expertise, empathy, and support. Additionally, I am available for an in-home consultation on the scheduled day of your appointment.

Dr. Westbrook is an angel. It was so much better to be in our own home instead of having to drive. I will be using her again, but hopefully not for awhile! Highly recommend Loving Paws. Updated 2023- it was time to say goodbye to out precious old girl today, and we chose Dr. Westbrook for the second time in 5 years. She's kind, responsive & gentle. Such a blessing to be able to say goodbye in our own home, in our own way. Thank you.

Dr. Westbrook was so kind. We had to say goodbye to our 15 year old dog. We were all very emotional. She was a calming and reassuring presence. She had all the right words to patiently explain to the kids what was happening. Her compassion went a long way towards softening a very painful moment in our lives.

I've had to utilize Dr. Westbrook's services a title of 4 times over the last 10 years and I won't use anyone else. She is professional, very compassionate and gives you as much time before and after to be with your pet as you need. All 4 of my babies passed while lying on my stomach on the sofa, just like any normal day. There was no stress of taking a sick and dying beloved pet to a veterinary office. She even makes the arrangements to have them picked up for cremation or burial. She's fantastic.

I just wanted my sweet girl to go peacefully without pain or anxiety. I got that with Dr. Westbrook's service. On time and professional, quick and gentle. My girlfriend said she was like a kind whisper, helped our sick girl, and was gone. I'm writing this the day after and I've been crying constantly. The thing that has helped me the most is knowing how peaceful my dogs last moments were. Thank you so much Dr. Westbrook for doing what you do and how you do it. It can't be easy seeing people day in and day out on their worst day, but you're amazing for this.

We've used Dr Westbrook for many years. She is truly an angel and makes an unbearable situation so much better and peaceful. It's the last act of kindness for our fur babies to send them onto the afterlife with dignity, peace and love. I don't know how she is able to do what she does but I'm forever grateful that our last moments with our babies are intimate, quiet and not rushed. I cannot recommend her enough.

It never gets easier saying goodbye to our furry family members. It just sucks. Almost 18 years ago, my kids and I decided to adopt another kitten to be a playmate for Tiger, the Orange tabby kitten we adopted the year before. We already had our lab CJ, so what was one more pet! Once again we headed to Operation Kindness where we fell in love with Kelly at first sight.
All three of our girls (yes, Tiger was actually Tigerlily) lived long, happy lives, with CJ passing at age 14 in 2014 and Tiger in 2018 at age 17. Now it was Kelly's turn to cross the Rainbow Bridge, also at age 17. With COVID 19 restricting owners from accompanying pets into our usual vet clinic, I frantically searched online for an alternative when I knew it was time.
A very sad day was made easier by letting her go in the comfort of our home, feeling safe while resting with me on my bed. I can't thank Loving Paws Veterinary House Calls and Dr. Rebecca Westbrook enough for the compassionate care she gave both Kelly and me when we needed it most. Though I hope to not be in this situation again anytime soon, when the occasion arises I will once again contact Dr. Westbrook and Loving Paws to say goodbye to my furry babies.

If I could give ten stars I would. the compassionate and competent care given by Dr. Westbrook so impressed us. having our sweet girl, who was suffering in immense pain at home, in familiar surroundings with us at her side through this was invaluable. The humane touches to her care truly made us more comfortable throughout the process. I would definitely highly recommend without hesitation

My 14 yr old dachshund was so sick and he was suffering with every effect of old age that a dog could have. He was throwing up, had diarrhea, he would not eat, he was severely dehydrated, his little legs were so weak he could barely stand on them and couldn't get up from the floor on them. His brain was like an Alzheimer's patients, he would walk in circles and also stand in front of a wall for minutes at a time.
I knew he wasn't going to last like this, he wouldn't eat anything and would just sleep heavily all the time as well. So I contacted them at Loving Paws and the Vet, Dr Westbrook, that came out was the sweetest person, she was very professional and she handled everything with compassion and care. I would not ever hesitate to call them again should I ever need them and I wish I had known about them when I had my golden retriever who passed on with complications from cancer months ago, instead I took her to a veterinary clinic where it was okay, but it's not the same as having this done in the comfort of one's home where the dog is most comfortable. Bless these people.

We are so grateful to Dr. Westbrook at Loving Paws. Having her come to our home when needed was a comfort to all of us. She was kind, caring with our treasured companion and allowed us to say goodbye at our own pace in a very gentle way. A gift to our beautiful pet and to the entire family as an important part of our healing process.

Loving Paws was the best way that we could lay our sweet Buddy to rest. We were in the comfort of our own home and he wasn't in an unfamiliar place. Dr. Westbrook was very kind and walked us through exactly what she was doing. Having to put a pet down isn't something that anyone wants to do, but I believe this is the best way to do it. Thank you Dr. Westbrook for your kindness.
