We had to put our 4 year old Great Pyrnees down today due to a sudden & severe brain tumor leaving him paralyzed and in severe pain. Thank you to the wonderful team who took such great care of him and the vet tech who hugged him for 30 minutes straight. Such a traumatic and heartbreaking experience was soothed by her actions.

Long wait times in clinic, long lead times to get an appointment, and the staff talks to customers as a take it or leave proposition. This clinics first concern is profit. It's second concern is profit. It's third concern is profit. You experience and your animals well being are side issues, nice to have but not required.

On the 1st of March my blue heeler was hit by a car. He went under the house for 2 days and when he came out he smelled like death. I brought him to animal Alvin clinic honestly not knowing if he was going to make it or not his tail was hanging in two pieces and his groin was all torn up. The doctor and the staff were wonderful. They did surgery on him and then the doctor on her lunch break went and got a little pair of baby pants and some suspenders to put on him so that he couldn't get it his wound it's a month and a half later now and all he has left is a little postage stamp size wound on his groin. The doctor and the staff did an awesome job and I will always take all of my animals to them

I have many animals but these are the two that have went there so far. I left Baylor animal clinic in Bacliff after 20 years! After they killed one of my pets long story! Now this is my new favorite Vet treat the animals really good and make you feel very comfortable! Even after the lady help me get the corgi Gemma out of the car and she Peed all over the vet tech she just says aww that's just puppy pee! I would give 10 stars but we can only give 5!

Excellent Service. My first visit with my cat Treasure with an asthma attack. Took her in and she was immediately taken to back for X-rays & evaluation while I completed paperwork. Dr West & tech Stephanie was so great with her & myself. So so pleased and would recommend them any time. Treasure is doing great & can breathe normally again. Thanks you. Pam

Seriously -- I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. The vets and the staff are phenomenal in service, communication, reliability and quality care. They are always welcoming and take the time to thoroughly explain their procedures and options, despite the fact that they may be busy or be having a hard day. Trust me on this -- I have a cat that has chronic UTI issues, and we have been patients that were visiting this clinic multiple times in any given week or month -- so I have plenty of opportunities for interacting with the vets and their team. Dr. Hoffpauir (our main vet) has truly gone beyond her calling in an attempt to research, treat, manage and support us in every way possible.
The few times I have seen Dr. West, I received similar stellar treatment as well. We have seen numerous vet clinics over the years, but this one is definitely the one that we are sticking with!
