Outstanding service. The entire staff are friendly, responsive and professional. Dr. McCoy clearly explained the plan of action for Lola's extractions, she is high risk due to heart disease. I could not be happier with the experience, and procedures preformed. Not only do they take the time to listen and answer your questions or concerns, their clinic runs like a well-oiled machine. I would highly recommend Texas Veterinary Dental Center!

The staff here are very thorough and helpful. Pet dental care is expensive and I felt everyone at Texas Vet Dental Center was transparent about the expected costs and potential additional costs. My dog had a lot of dental issues when I adopted her (oronasal fistulas, cracked teeth) and it cost me a pretty penny, but she received great care and is living a much more comfortable life now. They are super busy so you will have to wait for an appointment but that's not their fault, there aren't enough doggie dentists.

Dr McCoy is the best. He went above and beyond to spend time with us and explain the situation and our choices after the exam. The rescue group we adopted one of our dogs also highly recommended him when we brought his name up in conversation randomly and they are over an hour away in the woodlands. To the two recent people who left negative reviews I say.
1. If you use the terms "OMFG" in your review you automatically move down several class and trust ratings for your review in my book.
2. You get what you pay for typically and if you expect someone to sit on the phone (who is a doctor) and basically preform a consult for free by reviewing X-rays and giving their expert opinion you are mistaken about how professionals spend and value their time. no decent "human" doctor would do this for you either without a consult.

Do not recommend. They are entirely too busy to see animals in a reasonable time frame. We had to wait over a month to get our cat to just have an evaluation. Then the freeze hit and they tried to schedule the appointment over a month later I begged for a sooner appointment. They are difficult to reach and don't always get back to you. God forbid you try to contact them on a Friday.

I left a message that my cat died and they still called me to confirm the follow up appointment. We were just a number to them and clearly their Stafford location is a secondary concern to them.

VERY pleased with the level of care provided. Dr. McCoy is thorough, informative and professional. I can't say enough good things about him or his staff. Amy and Monica fussed over my sweet boy as much as I did. It's nice knowing the people taking care of your animals genuinely care about them. All procedures and pricing were discussed upfront, so no surprises. Dr. McCoy has an excellent practice staffed with a kind and caring team. You can't ask for more than that.

I am a dentist and I take my dogs to Dr. McCoy. You can expect Dr. McCoy to be trustworthy, punctual, thorough, and his practice is up to date. Dr. McCoy is incredibly knowledgable and skilled in his craft, but he is also a man of the people who is willing to invest the time to communicate and reassure. He has cared for my dog on two separate occasions and both times he has spoken to me in detail about the procedures needing to be done. Most of all, Dr McCoy is a kind human being who surrounds himself with great co-workers.

Our sweet dachshund had a lot of issues surrounding his teeth including oral nasal fistulas and a broken jaw. We were referred to another specialist, but they had a 2 month wait. I'm so glad that we found Dr. McCoy and his team! They were able to work got in to be seen the same week and scheduled his surgery for the following week. They were very professional and very kind and treated our pet like family!

I feel like if we had come here earlier we could have prevented a lot of the issues that we had. I would definitely recommend TVDC to anyone looking for quality dental care and surgery in the Houston area!

Dr. McCoy and his staff were great! Amy was able to work me in the schedule when I called about my 11 year old Husky with a broken canine. My options, along with recommendations were clearly explained and I was given a narrow price range. Very professional, awesome communication and no surprises!

I Don't have enough good things to say. The staff was phenomenal! Dr. McCoy took such great care of my baby and even took the time to explain EVERYTHING that was done when I stopped to pick up my 4 legged child. I had a great feeling from the second I walked in to the very second I left the building. I'd definitely recommend him to ANYONE who required pet dental work.

Dr. McCoy and his staff are amazing! We are taking care of my brother's pets since they flooded and noticed one was not acting correctly. After several visits of conservative treatments, our vet recommended Dr. McCoy. Amazing. While this poor kitty had to have all of her teeth extracted due to severe stomatitis, it was the right treatment plan! She was almost 2, losing weight, and something drastic had to be done. Dr. McCoy was amazing in answering questions, taking time, and making us all comfortable with the process. Thank you to his team as well!

We've been here three times now. We've seen Dr. McCoy every time and he and the staff have been beyond great. I originally considered them to be specialists; a place to bring our dogs when we needed specific oral or dental surgery. While they are very much that, we have also started using them for all our dogs dental needs. Dr. McCoy and his staff are very knowledgeable, they are extremely good with the animals and will take the time to walk you through everything; diagnosis from initial consultation, procedures, post-operative results, and aftercare. Their compassion, knowledge and attention to detail ensure that you and your pets will have the best possible care.
