This clinic was horrible! I was new to the Milwaukee area from Sheboygan, in need of a veterinarian clinic. They tried to force me to get a bunch of shots for my little bitty 3yr old Maltese. I refused and only proceeded with the necessary shots for him to attend day care and doggie grooming. They referred me to a groomer and when I contacted their groomer they told me they had to call the clinic to make sure he had his shot the lady called me back and told me since I refused the other side she was not gonna be able to see her him. WOW WOW WOW.
I had to take my baby back to Sheboygan an hour away just to get him groomed asap. And a short story I was in the park the other day and I had recommended my new veterinarian to this lady. And she said oh thank you. because I was going to go to the one in Wauwatosa but this man told me to never ever go there. SMH. I gave them two stars because from what I remember their prices or that bad and they did get me in short notice.

I have used both of their clinics for the past year and a half. Rarely do I encounter any issues. Scheduling is easy, as is their app. They are usually very responsive and helpful. I recently had to put down my 13 year old Dane mix and Kerry was amazing through all of it. My preferred vet is Dr. Pasowicz and she is exceptional. Services can be a little pricey but I'm not going to knock a star off for that. EDIT: I recently met Dr. Haynes and wow, what an exceptional person and vet! EDIT: We will sadly be leaving this practice.
The recent mishandling of a urinalysis and treatment that cost me almost $200 and did nothing for my dog has prompted me to move on from this clinic. As a fellow medical person, the testing and treatment was not adequate or correct. I did not know this at the time or I would've handled it right then and there. When the clinic was called out on this all they could say was well.uummm. Sorry, not acceptable! EDIT: attempted 1 last conversation to try to get to the bottom of the multiple issues we had over the last couple of months. Have now moved on and would not recommend this practice.

Always got great care at Wauwatosa Veterinary Clinic but when I called today to have my dog looked at for an eye infection they could not get him in until March 14th. They offered other clinics but his records and previous appointments have been with this clinic. Frustrating when you need assistance you're turned away. Time to find a clinic that is available when you need them.

While the staff is MORE than friendly, they clearly have far too many patients. My puppy was a bit mischievous when he was younger and I needed to bring him in pretty ASAP two separate times. Both times, they told me they couldn't get him in for several weeks and told me to go to the ER which just cost me upwards of $1000. I've never had an issue at any other vet on getting him in during a somewhat emergency! They also have UNREAL prices compared to other vets. That coupled with too many patients, makes it very obvious they might just like $$$$$.

This is hard to write because I genuinely love all of the vets at both locations, however I am disappointed in the access to care at this clinic. There is almost NEVER any availability for emergency appointments - I am also disappointed to say that I called and left a message two hours before opening only to receive no communication back - when I called them to follow up, I was told all emergency calls were filled earlier that morning.which is interesting since I should have been one of the first people called back to get an appointment.
To be told my dog cannot be seen for another three weeks is not good patient care at all - I work in health care and we set aside times throughout the entire business day to have patients be seen when things come up - you should NEVER be turning down patients to be seen THREE WEEKS OUT. I don't want to find another vet, but if I cannot rely on this team to have my dog's issues addressed in a timely manner I will have to do so. I find this extremely unacceptable.

Wish I could give more! Dr Haynes is the best vet I ever had. My cat was, to say the least, a "Handful". She had to be sedated to be looked at. She was my baby though, and I couldn't have been more happy with the service and care Dr Haynes gave her through out her life. She as also there for the toughest time of saying goodbye. I truly can not express my gratitude enough. We moved and will miss this place and it's staff. It's worth the drive and the time for this Vet. They will take care of your Fur Baby!

I cannot express how well me and kitty were treated here. After our cat broke his leg playing with an overly excited puppy, we were told he needed the entire head of his femur removed. After calling several places with orthopedic surgeons this was the first and only place that asked us how kitty was actually doing. Curbside visits put a dent on meeting the wonderful staff but they were very welcoming and courteous on the phone.
Everything was simple and easy for us and Dr. Tenorio did a great job at explaining the procedure and actually answering all our questions. If they'll have us we'd definitely like to return as patients under less dire circumstances.
