We understand our feline friends have unique needs when it comes to health care. Visiting the veterinary clinic can be a scary experience, and we try to lower that stress with use of pheromones, handling with towels, and keeping cats away from our canine patients. We do have dogs barking at all times of the day and it is difficult to assure that your cat will not hear any dogs while here, but we do our best to perform basic treatments in the exam room away from dogs.If it is necessary to bring your cat to our treatment area, we will avoid dogs and keep your cat safe.
It can be a very exciting time bringing a new kitten into the family. Preventative care is essential to ensure your kitten lives a long healthy life. There are a number of things that we can do at Warwick Animal Hospital to make your experience great, while providing your pet with the proper care. In most cases, you will be visiting us several times during your kitten's first few months so we would like you to feel comfortable asking questions - just remember, that's why we're here! You'll soon learn there is a lot for us to talk about during your kitten visits.

I brought my one year old dog to Dr. Simon at Warwick animal Hospital because she was vomiting. They kept her for four days and Dr. Simon I could not bring her home that she needed to stay there.even though they had not found an obstruction, she was holding down liquids and having BMs. He recommended doing an 'exploratory" surgery" estimated at $3000 that would have to wait until Monday since he was going out of town.
I insisted on bringing her home for the weekend while we decided if we would spend the money on surgery or sadly say our goodbyes. When we brought her home we discovered she was just fine. He estimated my cost to be $1000 for the 4 days and so I paid that to take her home. Then I got a bill for an additional $795 ($1795 total) for little more IV fluids and got charged 5 times($590) to "view" the x-ray and $240 for ultrasound.
Not to mention being faced with heart wrenching decision to spend an exorbitant amount on surgery that would be very hard on her or put her down. Thank goodness there was the weekend that we were able to bring her home and discover she was just fine. Dr. Simon took me to small claims court to collect the additional $795. Thankfully, the judge agreed with me ruled in my favor.

Highly recommended! I have taken three different cats to Warwick, and feel like they have gotten the best care available. They legitimately care about your pet(s), take the time to answer your questions and make sure you're informed, and I have never felt like they overcharged me. I trust them completely because they've earned it.

Warwick animal hospital has been great! All staff, groomers and Doctors have been so kind and compassionate. My dog passed away from a brain tumor several years ago but they were always so sweet to her and wanted as little stress as possible. Now I take my mother and my grandmothers dogs in and will continue for all of our family pets!
