I just wanted to say, I love the Cat Care Clinic. All of their staff is so incredibly kind and attentive, and really care about everyone who comes in their doors. I unfortunately had to do end of life care for my cat Magnus. They helped me through the process from fighting to help save him as much as they could, to helping comfort me as my cat took his last breath.
They made the whole process easier to deal with since I knew we were in good hands. Shoutout specifically to Dr Mitchell, Dr Winske, & Dr Parks, but really the whole team is just incredible. I always felt cared for and trust them immensely. I cannot recommend their care enough. I hope the Cat Care Clinic team knows how much I appreciate them!

The staff are always so friendly! They're incredibly patient with my cats and take the time to go at the pace my kitties are comfortable with. I have a very skittish cat who was afraid of anyone touching him when we first adopted him in November. Sadly he had worms by day three and we had to take him in. The vet tech and veterinarian were so sweet with him and were flexible with me in how we handled him to make the visit as easygoing and safe and comfortable as possible. I recommend the Cat Care Clinic to anyone with felines! You won't be disappointed!

I brought my cat in several times for several different issues -- poor weight gain, URIs, vomiting, drooling, seizure-like episodes -- each time I got a temporary fix that worked fine short term. Recently I took her to the emergency vet because she was distressed and disoriented, and the vet there took one look at her and told me she probably has a liver shunt, which further tests confirm.
My cat fits the symptoms for a liver shunt to a t; she's super skinny (which one vet told me was a healthy weight? she's basically skin and bones), drools a lot, and is very clumsy (and apparently intermittently blind, which no one recognized!). While I think Cat Care is good in general, and has amazing technicians, I'm also upset that no one recognized what my cat was going through sooner.

I moved from Milwaukee to Madison this summer and this was my cat's first vet appointment here. I arrived 15 minutes early for my 2pm appointment and was brought to an exam room immediately so I could let my cat out of her carrier (a torturous device). The room was very clean and had climbing shelves on the walls (which my cat did not utilize). Around 1:57pm, the vet tech came in and apologized for the wait (she was early for my appointment time by 3 minutes).
The vet came in after preliminary questioning by the vet tech. We went through the exam and my concerns and devised multiple ways to proceed, all with varying cost levels. We decided on a course of action I was comfortable with financially. Both the vet tech and very were very gentle and loving with my cat The vet was very open to any and all questions and concerns and everyone was very polite.
Since my visit, I've been able to email my vet questions about treatment and the clinic has followed up on my visit once via email and once via phone. Very attentive. I had read reviews about this clinic being expensive, but it had an overall high rating on google AND is just for cats, so I chose it. Since I'm new to Madison, I'm unsure if this vet is more expensive than others.
In Milwaukee, at our vet, an exam/consultation was $62 and at this clinic it was $80. Even if it is more expensive, I will continue going to Cat Care Clinic due to it's cleanliness, politeness of staff and care and knowledge of the vet tech and vet.

A teeth procedure turned into my cat becoming extremely sick and suddenly had kidney failure when days before his labs were great! We had to put him down 2 weeks after the first visit at cat care clinic. I brought him back multiple times and kept telling them something was wrong, but they didn't do any more testing, just said it could be this it could be that, gave him more drugs and caused the kidney failure. The vet also gave this drug without my consent and after looking it up, this drug should not have been given at all! Cat care clinic killed my boy, only 7 years old!

I loved the staff, very helpful and kind. I know my kitty is well taken care of here. One important note - the apartments above this location must allow dogs because there are always TONS of dogs walking on the sidewalk outside of the clinic. There is also heavy traffic as it's on a busy street and parking can be tricky if you arrive when the street is parked up.

I went to this clinic once (am a frequent visitor of the west clinic), but I absolutely highly recommend this place! They are so nice and caring, and you can tell right as you step into that door! My kitty had to stay overnight here, and they did a great job of going over the costs and making sure to let me know that he will be okay. Everyone is so great! Pricey, but worth it.
