Services
Lakeview Veterinary Clinic is a modern, full-service, small animal practice offering medical, surgical, dental, and preventative care. We provide a friendly, neighborhood environment with an emphasis on service. Our doctors and staff are passionate about our work, and take a genuine interest in each and every client.
Annual wellness exams evaluate your pets overall health, detect problems before they become serious, and keep them on track to live a long, healthy life. Proper diet and nutrition can help your pet fight against disease, maintain a proper weight, and promote the overall well-being of your pet. Annual dental exams and cleanings are recommended to protect your pet from many health problems and help them maintain a healthy and clean mouth. We understand that it is not always easy for clients to bring their pets in to our facility.
The Lakeview Animal Fund has been established to provide access to quality veterinary care and support for animals in cases where there is no known guardian, in situations of financial hardship or family crisis, and to pets harmed or displaced due to local disaster. Through these donations we hope to provide a lasting legacy of assistance for those who need it most.
In addition to our main clinic, we offer a cat-only option right next door. The Cat Annex will cater specifically to our feline friends, providing an environment that calms common, but sometimes serious, anxieties.

I have used Lakeview Veterinary Clinic for over 10 years. The care is excellent, the staff is compassionate and helpful. My dog was sick recently and they were able to see her promptly, and help her feel better quickly!

At our most recent visit, our dog was diagnosed with advanced, aggressive cancer. Dr. Oaks and staff were wonderful. Dr. Oaks did a great job developing a meaningful and cost effective plan to improve our dog's quality of life for his remaining time. She took time to listen to our concerns and assess our dog's level of chronic illness, quality of life before making diagnostic or treatment plans.

I have been taking my cat to Lakeview for a few years now and Dr. Britta at Lakeview is great! She correctly diagnosed my kitty numerous times and also helped save her from a potentially fatal condition recently. Very grateful for the medical advice and treatment my cat has gotten here.

Dr. Matt and vet tech Colleen were both great with our dog. Everything needed was done quickly and efficiently and with lots of concern for her comfort. A great written report came by email afterwards. And they gave us some treats, too!

My dog is normally very skittish at the vet, and everyone at the clinic was so kind to him and helped him be a little more comfortable. He LOVED Dr. Matt, and Dr Matt really took the time to help my pup be okay with what was happening. We are so glad we got in here!

Highly professional, warm, and caring! They treat each pet as a very special being. And, they genuinely listen and respond! (This is true of the entire staff.) We would recommend the clinic - and especially our vet, Dr. Kristen Levins, to anyone who cares about her/his pets. -Richard DiPrima

I received excellent care for my somewhat challenging pup at Lakeview yesterday. He has been having recurrent infections in his ears and is VERY resistent to having them touched. The vet tech gently persuaded him to let her swab them and the vet laid out an excellent plan, taking into account my concerns. I've been going here for years and have greatly appreciated everyone I've come in contact with. Highly recommend.

Lakeview has been taking care of our cat for several years now. He's getting old now, and in the past year has developed eating issues and lost a scary amount of weight. Dr. Matt has been very knowledgeable, professional, and caring, and has helped us find medications that perked up our cat's appetite. The entire team has been caring and they even called to check up on Cody the day after our appointment. Couldn't recommend them more!

The staff care about our cats so much, which is evident in their treatment of them. They send detailed notes after each evaluation, which is incredibly helpful for my forgetful brain. In these notes, they write sweet messages about our cats that are just warm and heartfelt. When our cat had an ear infection that would not subside, the staff worked diligently and carefully to provide him with the safest and most effective care.

Although it took a few months, they were always available by phone and email, letting us know if they thought we needed to head into the clinic again. He is now a healthy and happy boy! The staff is always happy to answer questions and concerns, and can usually get us in fairly quickly if there are immediate issues. Super happy with our care here!
