Countrycare created C.A.R.E. for Paws in 2012 in order to give back to people in Green Bay and surrounding communities. By partnering with The Red Cross, we help pet owners in 13 counties throughout Northeast Wisconsin. In 2015, C.A.R.E. for Paws became a non-profit organization promoted by Countrycare Animal Complex. Being a veterinarian, I was called to examine a 10 year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners Ron, his wife, Lisa, and their boy, Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle. I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn't help Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure in their home. As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me that they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure.

All of the staff was great! I really appreciate that everyone took the time to make my pup feel welcomed, loved and safe. My pitbull-mix has been having allergy issues for the past two years, and nothing our conventional vet did helped. We took a hemopet (saliva) allergy test early on at our local holistic vet, and those diet changes did help, at first, but then got worse.
After one appointment and bicom testing, we learned that our pup was allergic to coconut, which was in her new food, and several other things we were using on her or feeding her. One week out, and she is already showing improvement!

Came in from an away with an emergency as a walk-in. The staff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and worked with us every step of the way though our awful situation. They were willing to bend over backwards to help us, and were very kind throughout the entire process while still not keeping any information from us just because it was going to hurt. Will be thoroughly recommending them to anyone, and wish they were closer to home.

We shopped the local area with multiple visits to various dog kennels before deciding on Country Care. To be sure, my comments are a genuine reflection of our experience. We just boarded our dog here for 10 days (her longest vacation yet!). Because of her medical history (and her nerves) she requires daily medicine and special care (probiotics, pumpkin, unique diet, raised dish etc).
We received comforting periodic updates/photos from her caretakers and we are confident all her needs were met and she lots of belly rubs to calm her down. Happy to say they take good care of my dog!

Thank you so much for taking Zoe in for a consult. The staff is amazing! Everyone is so friendly and treated Zoe with love and patience. We were not just a number rushed thru. Our questions were answered. We were give the details of her health and options. Her environment was nice and clean as well!

I brought my beardie in for a checkup and some shed removed from his eye. They took such good care of him, as I had to drop him off. I'm so impressed that they also texted me over the weekend to check up on Mushu, even though they were not open. I wouldn't dream of taking him anywhere else! Thank you!
