Our fully stocked ambulatory vehicle serves a wide geographic area, and we are available around the clock for emergency care.
Dr. Lisa H. Handy, a 1984 graduate of The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, is committed to taking care of every horse with compassion and the expertise that they deserve.

I called Dr. Handy today because my mini's eye was tearing and painful. She arrived in an hour, stained his eye and determined it to be a cornea scratch. I am new to the area and therefore was not her client, yet she came over immediately. Had someone not seen him today this could have turned into a huge deal. Thank you Dr. Lisa Handy for coming so quickly and taking care of my little man.

Dr. Handy and her staff are the nicest I've ever dealt with. Very responsive and informative. She genuinely cares. She's been helping me with my rescue pony for about a year now and the peace of mind and guidance I have gotten are invaluable. You won't regret using Carolina Equine.

Dr. Handy was a great vet when I first used her but lately she us extraordinarily rude and unkind. Perhaps she's burned out and needs to retire instead of mistreating her clients in their hour if need.
