Rita Ranch Pet Hospital

I recently moved to the area and needed to establish care for my dog. I was impressed with how they distracted him so that he was not bothered by the examination or vaccines. I thought the exam was thorough and the treatment plan as well as charges were clearly explained. I was very pleased with the experience.

Friendly staff, and you can tell that they care about their patients.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Chance and the staff of Rita Ranch Pet Hospital. They are caring, loving, willing to work with you and your concerns for your pets - I highly recommend.

10/10 definitely recommend! What a wonderful clinic. My dog broke his nail and was exposed to another dog with a GI parasite around the same time, so getting him in quickly was important to me. They followed through with their cancellation list promise and he was able to be seen a week earlier than originally scheduled when they had a last minute opening.

They have a fear-free approach (which is VITAL when treating my very nervous, very loud boy), They were SO KIND AND CARING, even though my dog was trying to intimidate them (he associates vet offices with shots, he hates needles). Cost was reasonable for the services! Every single member of the staff was very nice and very professional. The staff wears masks too, if that's important to you!

I am a traveler, but for the remainder of my time here, I will also be taking both of my cats in for their annual visits! So very grateful to have found such a wonderful place.

The staff and surgeon Dr. Chance here are phenomenol. I felt really cared for and my dog enjoys coming here too.

Dr. Chance-Dulin, the technicians, and the front staff have been absolutely amazing! They are very patient, upfront and detailed, and absolutely care about the pets so much. My dog was adopted at the shelter at an older age so restraint exams have been terrible for everyone involved. His pre dental exam went so well with their fear-free techniques.

He got a great report card on the day of his dental since his momma wasn't there to help combat the scary stuff with him. I'm very happy with their services and I am happy to say they will be my dogs primary vet. Thank you! (The picture is him still slightly sedated after his dental.)

I forgot my wallet one time, understand I've seen them for years with my dog. I called explaining I was camping and realized it was in my bag. it was more or less a check-up so I knew I wouldn't have time to go home and I asked if they wouldn't mind if I payed over the phone after. they said it was fine but then held my dog as collateral and I had to speed to vail and get my money before they closed and held him over night. money comes first here. Don't be fooled.

Love this place. They love our pets as if they are their own. They make accommodations when you need services. They are just all around good people.

Everyone at Rita Ranch Pet Hospital is AMAZING! Dr. Begaye truly cares about the health and well-being of both our puppies! She is an excellent vet!

This hospital shows genuine concern, care and empathy. They handle every situation with the utmost care and concern for not only your furbaby but for you as well. Hats off to the amazing people that work here. I laid my baby Diego to rest with them and couldn't have felt better about who cared and handled him after his passing. By far the best vet I've ever delt with! Everyone there really cares about animals, they love their job and it shows. I am very thankful to have met the amazing people working there. I really can't say enough good things about this place, highly recommended!

I called my usual vet twice and was put on hold for a long time so I googled and called 2 other places nearer to me. one of them was kind of rude. The other one I left a message twice. I looked further on Google and found this place so I gave them a call which was answered right away. The female receptionist that answered was quite compassionate and understanding.

I've never been here before but if that's an indication of how this place does business I look forward to my appointment and I look forward to start taking all of my dogs there.

My dog was seen Friday by one veterinarian; we had to return for a re-check today and she saw another veterinarian (due to my availability). Both vets were outstanding. Very thorough, professional, insightful, and caring. They worked with their staff to provide estimates prior to any procedures being done and ample time to discuss treatment options.

We thought my sweet Cavvy might need a procedure, but they advised watchful waiting. I felt very grateful that they did not charge me unnecessarily and handled our case with the utmost courtesy. Staff is also very passionate and caring.

I would highly recommend Rita Ranch Pet Hospital, I just moved here and my dog had scratched his eye. They took us in immediately and there was no wait time when we got there. They inspected his eye and determined what was wrong. They prescribed him drops and then we had a follow up, when we had our follow up we once again were seen right away. They checked his eye out and suggested a second medicine.

The next time we went in his eye was completely healed and they were fantastic with him. The entire staff is so friendly and kind. They treated my pup like their own and they were all so nice. Every time I came in they would call the next day and make sure everything is okay with my pup! I highly recommend them!

It was my dog Jumanji first visit to a Veterinarian and Rita Ranch Pet Hospital is the best. They treated Jumanji like Royalty. I recommend all who live in the Vail and Rita Ranch area to bring your pets here. Dr. Krauss has a real passion for pet's, she sat down on the floor with Jumanji and played with him it was awesome to see a Vet do this. The whole staff is very friendly and professional.
