My father was in the Air Force and our family moved about every two years. My mother took advantage of being stationed overseas and we traveled extensively. Consequently, I credit my father and mother with my love of travel, history, and reading. One of the earliest entries in my baby book was "loves to read and loves horses".
The staff at Tri-County Animal Hospital is dedicated to offering our clients the highest standard of veterinary care. Our promise is to provide the very best in state-of-the-art diagnostics, treatment and preventative health care management for their loving pets. I brought a dog here that I rescued in a parking lot to get neutered. Everything was great. Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. The prices were very good. The facility is far from my house, but I will definitely go back with my other fur babies. Thank you for taking good care of a very important family member.

I woke up to a sick 9 week old baby goat that was crying and foaming at the mouth. It would not eat (shes normally a piggy) and kept running into things. It looks like she had gotten into some poisonous plants the night before. I called 3 different vets and nobody could see S'mores. I finally found Tri-County and they were able to move things around to get us in.
I'm convinced that if it wasn't for Tri-County's amazing help, S'mores wouldn't have made it. Today is day 3 and she is back out with the rest of the herd! I will only use them for all our farm friends from now on!

I do not normally write reviews, but, the exceptional customer service we received from Tri-County Veterinary Hospital was outstanding and saved our dogs life! Words cannot express the happiness I felt as Jackson is a big part of the family! On Thursday, August 20th, around 4:30pm my husband, Ricky, was throwing the lacrosse ball to Jackson like he has done the past 7-8 years. Unfortunately, when Jackson caught the ball it got lodged in his throat.
My husband worked fearlessly for several minutes trying to remove the ball from Jackson's throat. Without success he decided to load Jackson into the vehicle and rush him to what he thought was the nearest vet. Long story short, it was the wrong vet and 15 min from our home. After he pulled into the parking lot on 2 wheels and without even thinking, unloaded Jackson and rushed him into the lobby (which at this time due to the Corona-virus the clinic did not allow customers in the facility, especially ones without masks). Nevertheless, everyone including Ricky rushed Jackson into a patient room.
The staff immediately sedated Jackson, while Dr. Huggins tried removing the ball with forceps and other medical equipment. Meanwhile, Jackson's tongue and gums were turning a bluish/purple color (which means he was nearing death) so one nurse performed CPR (mouth to nose breathing) since his airway was blocked while the other held his throat so he would not swallow the ball.
After a few minutes and numerous attempts, the doctor was finally able to remove the ball. Afterwards, the staff took Jackson into another area to watch him and ensure his recovery was a success; which it was! I can say without hesitation, our 75 pound Lab, Jackson, is alive today because of the doctors and staff of Tri-County Veterinary Hospital! I will definitely be switching Jackson's care to Dr. Huggins @ Tri-County Veterinary Hospital. Sherrie

I have had some horrible veterinary experiences in my life, but I can say without a shadow of a doubt that after one visit to Tri-County Animal Hospital I am a lifetime client. Special thanks to Dr. Teal and Ms. KK who took more time than they should of answering all my questions and attending to our dog Dory. They did not try to sell me on extra unneeded procedures and explained to me why using a three year vaccination is more beneficial to Dory, as well as financially.
This is my favorite part. I needed to purchase more flea and tick prevention and instead of selling me their product, Dr. Teal advised me to use the rest of what I have and then switch to a heart worm/pest prevention medicine that is an all in one that they sold. She told me what website has the best price for me to use while I finish the heart worm medicine I have in the house before switching.
Bottom line, this clinic is not trying to make a buck and their staff and Vet's truly care about the animals well being. More benefits: - I was sent me lab results via email (I have never had this happen.) - There is a client portal with all my Dog's medical records - On-site surgical center. - COVID Procedures in place.

Staff is not friendly at all. My golden retriever who loves everyone acted like she didn't want to go through the door when we went there. Lastly, when We had to put her to sleep at almost 14 years old the girl who answered the phone was so cold to me. Never said I'm sorry or offered any support. It was like a business transaction through the whole process. When we get a new dog, we will be finding another vet.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM! I switched from the vet I went to for several years. I originally was going to go to my vet but here for the groomer, but when I met the staff and doctor, I ended up staying for good. The groomer is gone now which is so sad because she was amazing, but the staff here is amazing as well. Y'all keep up the great work and making people and animals feel like family.

Dr. Teal is excellent. Knowledgeable, experienced, resourceful, compassionate and delivers well thought out and reasonable advice. We have taken our dogs here for the last few years and they have helped us work through some difficult ailments. They are committed to the health of their patients and have proven their dedication on several occasions with us by working odd hours to support us.
We even got a follow up call from Dr. Teal Christmas evening to check on our dog that had swallowed unknown quantities of kids fruit snack bags the day before. Definitely recommended.
