I was a client of Viscaya Prado for over 10 years and recently I have not been able to gt a hold of them. My dog has heart issues and was having episoes of passing out. Called Kindness and they were able to get my dog in that day! Dr Salcedo was fabulous as wel as all the staff. I have requested that all my dogs medical records to be transferred to Kindness!

I had to bring my cat here because my vet at the time was not doing anything to help her. She was mis diagnosed and given medication that made her sick. Kindness Animal Hospital we're able to fit her in the same day and see my cat. They were able to diagnose what was wrong with her and the blood/urine tests supported their diagnosis. When you walk in, you're greeted with a hello and a smile (which is hard to come by these days).
They answer their phones when you call, so many businesses these days don't answer their phones and use an automated text messaging service. The Technician was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and provided me with accurate answers. Dr. Salcedo made time to meet with me and my cat, I never felt rushed, even though my cat was fit in on the same day.
She also followed up with a phone consultation to explain what was going on after she had reviewed my cats history and bloodwork. I am very satisfied with the care and treatment that my cat was given and I highly recommend Kindness Animal Hospital to anyone.

What a fabulous experience we had with Drs. Clark and Bell this week. And we are only visiting Cape Coral. They treated us EXACTLY as the clinic says with "KINDNESS". We have an elderly poodle mix with health issues. Thursday Dr Clark did a thorough exam and helped us and Piper. When her condition continued to deteriorate with new symptoms, we called Saturday morning at 9:30 and they said to be there at 10:15. Again, Dr.
Bell asked lots of questions and suggested solutions to help her. It's been 12 hours since she received care and new meds and she is doing 80% better. The technicians were as kind as the vets. And it was so clean and we never saw another dog. We are so happy we found them and that they would see us right away. We called lots of vets and it was going to be 2-3 weeks before they could see us.
Thank you to everyone at KINDNESS WEST. You have allowed us to continue our long awaited vacation without having to go home early because of an I'll dog. She is doing so well. We appreciate everything you did for her. If you are looking for a vet, please call them. They are very caring.

Our dog had bad diarrhea for a few days and We stopped by and Dr. Bell, who is very experienced, polite, and professional agreed to examine our sweet sick little girl on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was kind, efficient, and professional. The building was very clean and well organized. They treated our dog promptly, and the costs were very reasonable.
I highly recommend Dr. Bell, Alexis, his vet assistant and all the staff for the kind and caring atmosphere they present to new customers. We highly recommend and they will become our regular vet. Thanks!

Kindness Animal Hospital has proven to us to be a caring, friendly and competent Vet. We have used their services for three years now. We have boarded our sweet, lovable Havanese and returned to find her happy and well cared for. Sometimes we have to wait for an appt, but are always able to get good service. Keep up the great work!

I boarded my cat for a week. He's had quite a time of it lately and was not pleased at all to be back in the car much less going to a new place. Upon arriving the first thing I noticed was how clean and peaceful the place was. Second I was pleased to see how the employee's treated the animals and felt they really cared. When Roy went back with the vet tech, I knew I picked the right place to board my cat and I found myself a vet for all my pets.

Honestly not for me. They were very friendly but none of the workers were on the same page or communicating with each other. Also, I got a estimate of how much my total would be before doing any blood work or shots. ($420). I told them that's okay I can do that and we went ahead and started getting everything done. They then started doing unnecessary things that I didn't originally agree to like extra shots, added unnecessary medicine, etc. they never asked at all if that would be okay, or made sure I would be able to afford that, they just jumped in and did it without giving me warning that it would bump the bill up tremendously, then leaving me to check out with a whopping $715 bill, when I originally only okayed for the $420 because that's all I could afford. They're also very expensive on top of that.

Every time my husband and I drop off my dog Bailey to the vet, we get nervous. Only because he gets overly excited (not aggressive) with other dogs and has a very loud bark. Naturally it sounds scary but we know he means well. Our dog is very affectionate and high energy. He can be a handful but every time we take to Kindness Animal Hospital, the staff is so caring, compassionate, understanding of his needs and even play outdoors with him.
He is well taken cafe of and gets so excited about boarding there. I can safely leave him there as I know he will be tended to the right way. I want to thank the staff and the doctors on site for their attentive service and making our dog feel so welcomed. We highly recommend this veterinary! Top rating!

My dog Bella was sick for three days and couldn't get into any other vet. Kindness Hospital was able to see her on the same day I called. The vet was very good with Bella and set her up with a treatment plan. My dog was feeling better that evening and is now back to normal. I would highly recommend Kindness Hospital based on my great experience.

My semi feral cat Midnight boarded here for 12 days. I was so nervous about leaving her but we had to make sure she was safe during our move. Not only was Kindness Animal Hospital able to deal with 2 extensions but I'd call and be able to talk to the kennel tech. Much gratitude for keeping Midnight safe to be reunited in her new house with her bestest friend Loki and her favorite human.

Wish I could give negative stars- I ve been coming here 4 years- service has never been stellar but it was convenient- if expensive- it was the final straw - vet was rude, & dismissive. My cat has an infection from a cat bite- unfortunately my indoor cat likes to escape and this is the 2 ND cat bite- last time they performed surgery the recovery time was worse than the bite not to mention the cost.
When I said I didn't t want surgery she said she could flush it but probably wouldn't work and she d end up doing surgery anyway. they are the Kings of upsell- well not this time! I had had enough of them- Walked out - with a new much kinder vet- no surgery and cat doing fine- my advice ANYWHERE BUT KINDNESS

As usual Kindness Animal Hospital has exceeded our expectations. This is the only vet, in all my years of being a pet owner, that actually explains the ins and outs of what's happening to your pet. All of my animals are patients at KAH and we have always had great experiences. I highly suggest KAH-West if you are looking for an atmosphere that truly cares for your animals!

Very disappointed today with my visit. After a year of attentive, caring service, today's visit was completely different. My dog is 10 and has diabetes. I took him for a glucose test after sensing his sugar was elevated. It was confirmed high by the glucose test, but the vet sent the vet tech out with a $500+ estimate for a glucose curve test and two other tests.
His glucose level has been inconsistent all along, yet she never mentioned this test before. I had also asked the vet tech if my dog should have bloodwork to check his previously elevated liver count. The vet was not suggesting altering the insulin, which she has done during each visit, when necessary, since we started going there. After the vet tech made two trips back and forth to relay my questions, I asked her to go back a third time to ask what I should adjust his insulin level to, and she finally returned with a response, which included the doctor's recommendation for the $500+ testing.
I was frustrated and apologized to the vet tech. She also said if I had further questions, I could make an appointment to see the doctor. I thought I was seeing the doctor! I was so happy there, especially with the treatment we received after my dog was attacked by two pit bulls. I don't know what changed, but we aren't going back.

I was new to finding a Vet so I got swooped in by the first exam free coupon and omg did I make a mistake! This place is all about the money and do everything to charge any fee possible. They totally get that money back. They aren't even sympathetic to your pet if it's sick, it's just in out and don't even tell you how much the fees are gonna be until you check out.
The place isn't even clean, they have a sitting area that is absolutely dirty, I don't even sit! hair and whatever else on those seats since they aren't cleaned. I went two weeks ago and than today, looks the same. I know they don't clean them because I have appointments as soon as they open! Spent 300 on an ear infection and they want me to come back in two more weeks, probably another 100 something dollars. Never again will I go here. I feel very used and overcharged!

I took my dog here, there was a walking issue, after expensive ex-rays, they told me my young Westie had a problem with his hip and needed surgery, for a cool few thousand. I went to Viscaya for a second opinion. Dr. Did not even need to look at ex-ray. It was his crucial tendon in his knee. I've been with Viscaya ever since they are in My Opinion The Best. I Rate this place as NOOO DONT DO IT.!

John G is absolute right on. I spent 10K trying to save my Velvet with a specialist because they failed to give her vaccines according to her records. I took them to small claims to at least try and get the money back I spent with them after Velvet died. Dr Carver told me I should not have bothered trying to save her because she was twelve years old. What does that tell you? Go to Bay wood.

New to Cape Coral area --looking for a Veternarian with only a few doctors and convenient hours. Kindness animal hospital has just that. In addition the staff was knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable. As a bonus, they offer a coupon for new patients to use for your initial visit. The coupon is on their website.

Took my 2 dogs in to get a wellness exam. That's about all I would do there. Walked out spending almost $200 for a 15 minute check up on my Lab and a 5 minute exam on my Yorkie. They quoted me almost $900 for a teeth cleaning and to have 2 skin tags/bumps removed from my Lab. Quoted me $350 to neuter my 6.5 lbs Yorkie. I had my yellow lab neutered for around $120. I won't be going back as they seem to price gouge their customers.

We initially brought our now 10 year old Labrador retriever here 2 years ago after moving to Cape Coral from Connecticut. We now have three labs all clients of Dr. Morgan and the friendly animal loving staff at Kindness. They have treated our oldest through two cancer episodes. Welcomed and helped to heal our shy rescue from Lee County. Plus, they keep allowing my terror back into their office!
I have always had every procedure explained beforehand and estimates were fairly exact. My dogs range in age and personality but Dr. Morgan, Frank and the rest of the staff can relate to each of them in a calm manner. Everyone at Kindness truly cares about your pet. The dogs are not afraid to go to the vet, or be boarded overnight.

We're in the area for a few months with our fur baby, an 8 yo Bischon. He's had diareaha for the last couple days, so we called our hometown vet. He suggested we take our dog to a local vet and suggested Kindness since they are AAHA certified. I called Kindness and they gave me an appointment for just 3 hours later. The person on the phone was friendly and helpful, and gathered basic information from me about the dog.
We arrived for our appointment a few minutes early and filled out more paperwork about our dog's medical history. We also gave the receptionist the stool sample that we were asked to collect on our original call. The staff we worked with were highly professional and empathetic. We then were called into an examining room where a vet tech reviewed the information and did a basic exam, took our guys temperature, and readied him for the doc. Dr. Boozer came into the room and introduced herself.
She carefully examined our guy and reviewed test results with us. She then prescribed some meds and reviewed home care we should provide. Again, the doc was very pleasant to talk to and very professional. The charges for the visit, tests, and meds were less than I expected.(my vet at home is expensive, but well worth it). Assuming my guy responds to the treatment, I am very pleased and impressed with Kindness and will certainly use Dr. Boozer again should the need arise.

Wonderful experience, I'm glad I ended up at Kindness! Receptionists were very friendly on the phone and answered all of my questions, and just as friendly in person. Techs and Dr were very friendly also. Tech who wasn't helping us that day came over to say hello to my dog. The tech who was helping us, Liza, and Dr. Salcedo were so nice and helpful!
They didn't make me feel like crap for letting my dogs issue go a little longer than it should have before I brought her in. They explained everything well and gave me options and estimates. They genuinely wanted to care for my pet and make her feel better, but were compassionate towards my concerns and what would work best for me too. All around great experience and I will definitely be following up there in the future for all needs!
