Killed my dog. Went in for a cracked tooth. But THEY decided it wasn't cracked WITHOUT X-rays. Thee days later, after a conversation and apology, we returned because my dog was still in pain. This time the tooth was removed. When i pick up my dog he refused to jump in the car and exhibited pain. I went inside, explained the issue, the male vet tech went near my dog and he jumped in the car, clearly frightened by the tech who was angry.

That was at 4pm. By 5:30pm my dog still could not lie down and started moaning. When i called Pet Doctor I got a recorded message to use the emergency clinic in Sunnyvale. I took my dog on 25 minute car ride with him crying and moaning the whole time. At the emergency clinic I found my dog had a twisted stomach that can only occur if the dog is improperly rolled.

Why do you need too roll a dog from one side over to the other side? You don't. The emergency clinic it was not a normal procedure. It would take a $7,000 surgery to save my dog. Well, I didn't have $7,000 so I had to pay $750 for meds, x rays and euthanasia supplies to end my dog's misery. Do you know that Pet Doctor NEVER called to check on my dog.

In fact, they called 6 months later for my dog to come in for his shots. Incompetent, unprofessional and uncaring. They killed my dog. Be careful, they could kill your dog too.

Really bad experience! They took my pet In and I was waiting for 2 or 3 hours and they let me know she needs diagnostics and x rays and wanted to charge me $400 they didn't tell me what was wrong with my pet I paid the $90 and they didn't know what my pet had they didn't tell me. Really bad experience I don't recommend it I just got charged $90 for a "consultation" but they didn't tell me what was wrong with my pet they just told me they needed x rays and blood work done and it es gonna be $400 more. & they wanted to charge me the OXYGEN I DIDNT ASK FOR! SUPER BAD EXPERIENCE just wants to take peoples money!

We arrived on time and were in and out in less than 20 minutes for shots. The techs were friendly and efficient. They were good with our dog Rory. We've always had good service here and both us and the dogs are treated well.

We absolutely love Pet Doctor! They treat your pet with compassion, love and respect. The doctors and staff truly care and LISTEN to your concerns/questions when you bring your pet to see them.

Dr. Webb and his staff and all the doctors are by far the most caring I've ever experienced. They go above and beyond to help in any way they can with compassion and sensitivity. I can't thank them enough for being there for me and my son when we finally had to let go of our oldest dog Sampson. They treated him as if he was their own personal dog.

The staff are so warm, friendly and nice to people and pets! I am so grateful to everyone who took care of my lil' mama! She broke a nail at the quick & had it bent to the left and refused to let me do anything to it. The Pet Doctor staff got her in the same day, sedated her, took care of the nail and gave her a thorough exam. I am so grateful they helped her quickly so she wouldn't be in pain for too long!

I chose this vet off of the reviews. My 13 year old chihuahua was not acting herself. I was afraid she had suffered a stroke or seizure during the night. I called the Pet Doctor and asked if I could bring her in and they said yes but I would have to drop her off because the doctor sees them between surgeries. I really didn't want to leave her but they assured me they would make her comfortable and that the doctor would call me as soon as he evaluated her.

He called me within 20 minutes and he was very nice and comforting on the phone and explained to me what he found and what he would like to do to treat her and he told me I could head back to get her whenever but she will be fine untimely I get there and he would have her ready with her medication. I was already on my way as he was explaining everything to me.

Once I got there he went over everything again, went over her medication again and sent us on our way. 3 hours later my Maggie was barking again and giving me kisses like before and moving around the house showing she definitely felt better. I'm so thankful for this place and it is the new Vet home for her and our Yorker who I will be making a annual wellness appointment for and Maggie a follow up and wellness.

The VET was kind, experienced, professional, took the time to talk to me and explain it how I need it with patience, great kindness and knowledge. His aids, and technicians were loving to my puppies and it was all around a great experience as well as great pricing. Clean place, smell great, and you can see everything very well organized.

My wife and I had taken our blonde lab, Honey, since we rescued her at 2 months old in June. Everyone from the staff to the doctors have been nothing but professional, respectful and everything in between. We recently had Honey spayed there on 1/24/22 and again they were professional and very communicative after we had dropped her off. Not having children yet, we treat our dog as our only child and Pet Doctor -Rock wall does the same. I would highly recommend Pet Doctor - Rockwall to any new or existing pet owners. Thank you for everything you guys do!

My family has been using Pet Doctor for years and always have a great experience. Dr. Webb and his staff are very courteous and the staff greets me with a smile every appointment. It is a very clean environment where I never walk in smelling animals everywhere. The price is affordable every visit and I always know my fur babies are well taken care of! I would highly recommend Pet Doctor to anyone!

I have always used dr Webb once I met him and saw caring he was with my 14 year old and 4 year old. I had tried 2 other vets which my dogs were uneasy and I did not like what they were sayingDr Webb takes into ur feelings as well as ur pet and will not recommend extreme avenues. I did lab work on my 14 year old this year and he not his staff emailed me with results then called me 2x to discuss options. He's great vet and his staff r extremely friendly always. If ur looking got a vet u need to introduce ur baby's to his clinic.

Took my four year old Dane in for a cough with a "gag" at the end on a Wednesday. Was told it wasn't Bordetella and was prescribed antibiotics and a cough pill, was assured his lungs were clear as well as his throat. Dane seemed okay after five days, lingering cough. Day six, cough got wet and increased in frequency, took him back on that Tuesday.

The Vet a checked and again said lungs and throat clear, it must be a GI issue. I assured him it was respiratory, but he insisted. Told me he needed to be back first thing in the morning to be sedated for x-rays to check for blockage and asked about his cough and was told it is a GI issue. Took him back the next morning and left him. Received a call from the other Vet (owner) asking questions and wanting to "get up to speed".

I asked and was again told his lungs are clear. My Dane was sedated and then placed under anesthesia (I wasn't told he would be anesthetized). Vet called two hours later and told me he had died on the table. X-rays showed his lungs 75% full of liquid. I asked how did you miss this? You had three opportunities to make a proper diagnosis and missed.

They discounted my bill to zero but couldn't give me an explanation as to how they missed this and let my Dane die. Discounting your work doesn't ease the suffering or pain. They saw him three times in a week and still he died on the x-ray table. With that day being Wednesday, the Vet said I could have his ashes back the following day. I asked if we could make it Friday and was told yes of course.

I called Friday and they couldn't locate him, spent seven minutes on hold while they looked. I was then told he would be in Saturday and asked if I needed to call and they assured me they would call me. Monday, I called, still no sign of him, later they called and told me he was ready to be picked up. I asked why the delay and got an earful of attitude.

I wrote the Vet and asked the same question as well as why the attitude. Asked who I spoke with and since I didn't have a name, he was unwilling to review his schedule or ask his team who spoke with me. Again, above and beyond. The owner wrote a book called "Creating Customers for Life". Too bad he can't keep them alive.

First of all, you are not allowed into the facility with your pet. Second, they do not tell you or put in the notes when your follow up is. In this case, a second set of puppy shots were required. My wife called in on 6-29-21 to inquire as to when the second shots needed to be administered. They told her it was on 6-29. My wife asked the receptionist, what day is today? She said 6-29. I told her to find another vet. Wow. What a way to run a railroad!

Do not take your pet to this place it's a total rip off. They tell you one price over the phone but when your service is finished it's hundreds of dollars MORE! You've been warned take proper measures to get proper pricing even though I asked before services were rendered my price was still hundreds of dollars extra. My dog is still sick after paying hundreds of dollars.

For reasonably priced care for your pet visit animal clinic in farmers branch that's where I will be taking my dog from now on the same surgery he needs at this place cost $400 less.

This is the worst experience. They are outrageously expensive. For an ear infection and blood work 600+. I am changing vets. Do not recommend them.

I normally don't leave reviews but have to give credit where credit is due! This was our first visit here which was for a dog we rescued that was sup to have shots today but is sick so instead had to have tests. & other stuff done! Our new puppy is a little shy with people but when the vet tech Stephanie came out to get her she immediately took to Stephanie & quickly bonded with her & decided she didn't need/want her mom at the moment so although I was a little sad by that & that I couldn't go in with her I was also happy with how well she did with the tech!

The office kept in contact with me to keep me updated on things they were doing & how my baby was doing! I can't thank Stephanie & the rest of the staff enough for everything they did to make me feel at ease & how well they took care of my baby! Thank y'all!

Don't go here. Unless you don't care about your pets, do not go here. The negligence of the vets here is disgusting.

My Schnauzers see Dr Webb. My 15 year old is now having seizures and he is handling him with kid gloves. He's so good with them. His staff is so friendly and helpful as well.

Pet Doctor has been a life saver each and every time for us. When my dog needed surgery, Pet Doctor was able to help us out and did not overcharge us. They are so reasonably priced with everything! On top of them always being so accommodating when I need to get my pup in last minute for something urgent, the staff is amazing. They are friendly and willing to help. The doctors are thorough and explain everything and they even call you a few days later to check in on your pet! I love them. Pet Doctor will not disappoint.

I was a first time client and had to get my little teacup Yorkie in today because she was not breathing right. Even though they were booked, they had me bring her in and she stayed there until the vet could see her. Dr. Webb called me a couple of hours later and gave my little Molly the best care. He explained what he found and answered all of my questions.

He gave her medicine and fixed her up. Even being a new client (which you get $1 exams!) and COVID and being booked today, they got my Molly in. The office staff was so nice and caring. I highly recommend the Pet Doctor!

At first told me wrong price but went back over it and it was just a mistake. Offer care credit if you need to finance. Awesome that they do specials sometimes for office visit. Very nice and informative staff. Helped my baby who had a really bad ear infection:

Today, Dr Webb came through for our family again! My wife and I have used The Pet Doctor for several years. Always a good experience. Today one of my son's Boxers was bitten really bad. Their Vet couldn't work in poor Brinkley. We called Dr. Webb, and got her in immediately and he took amazing care of Brinkley. Thank You Dr. Webb to you and your Staff. From Terry & Patsy Tolleson.

At this time since we are having the virus situation, I was not able to go inside with my cat. They came out to my car to take him inside. Very kind and professional. On a good day they are very nice every time I see them.

I bring my foster dogs here for their health checks and the staff has always been amazing! I even had to bring my own dog with me and the foster dog a few times because I didn't have anywhere else to take him (can't be trusted home alone) and the staff were always very nice about it even though he's a crazy husky who was kind of in the way while they checked the foster pups.

They give great advice and very thorough health checks and I trust them completely. If they weren't 30 minutes from where I live I'd make them my dogs vet as well! I always recomend them to people who live in the area and if you're reading this, I recomend you see for yourself how much they really care for the well being of your pup.

They care about our pets and they have regular low cost vaccinations.

We have been coming to Pet Doctor for over 10 years. We adopted a new chihuahua puppy last night and to every owners nightmare, we found out later that night that she was infested with worms. : Although a common issue for puppies, it's still scary. especially when you have other pets in the home. We tried medicating, but it didn't seem to help.

We then called an hour before they closed and they immediately had us bring her in. They did the full work up and have her all the shots and meds needed. She is already feeling WAYYYY better! Instead of worrying about leaving quick on a Saturday, they were more concerned with our puppies well being. This is rare to find these days! Will never change my vet! Love love love PETDOCTOR and Dr Webb and his amazing staff!

Thanks to Pet Dr's affordability, I was finally able to get my dogs eye removed, which will alleviate much pain. Dr Web was so kind, helpful & did great work. The entire staff was very pleasant, caring &. accommodating to the fact that I live 2.5 hours away. I saved $3,351 not getting this done by a specialist at Animal Eye Clinic! And Dr Web has done about 60 Enucleation surgeries so I felt comfortable having him do my dog's. Best vet ever! Did a great job on my dogs teeth cleaning too.

We love Dr. Webb and his staff! He's been our vet for about 20 years and we will never take our animals anywhere else. Other vets are closer to our house, but we'll always make the trip over to Rockwall Pet Doctor for the best quality treatment and pet care from an experienced, caring, compassionate and professional staff.

My first experience at Pet Dr was when I moved to Rockwall, the Dr and staff began taking care of my 13 year old pug/chihuahua until she passed. They were so kind, supportive and caring to both myself and Sadie. When I got my new pug fur baby, I chose to continue with Pet Dr. Molly is now just a year old and Pet Dr did her initial care and just last week did her spay. I could not ask for better care. The low costs are just a bonus! Check them out you won't be sorry.

Our precious, mischievous, funny little rascal Sammy died this morning at only 3 1/2 years old. we are so heartbroken and angry too. We took him to the Pet Doctor 7/16 and he was diagnosed with a urinary blockage from crystals that formed. They put a catheter in and kept him two nights. He came home 7/18 and was lethargic, which they told us would be normal. Jenna took him back to Pet Doctor 7/19 because of the lethargy and they did a quick exam, no lab work and they said he was fine.

He was lethargic over the weekend, but drinking water and urinating. on 7/22, the lethargy seemed worse so I called Pet Doctor and was again told lethargy is normal and we didn't need to bring him in. I wrapped him in a blanket and drove him to the vet anyway and he died on the ride over. we can't imagine life without Sammy we are so sad

My experience was good and I will go back to them in the future for my pet care needs. Staff was attentive and friendly, offered good advice and didn't overcharge or make us wait forever to see the Doc. Overall good experience and I feel confident in going back to them and recommending them to anyone looking for a knowledgeable veterinarian to take care of their pet.

THEY DECLAW CATS. Any "vet" willing to declaw a cat should not be considered a veterinarian at all. They should already be completely aware of the consequences that come with declawing a cat. This only causes them to resort to biting which leads an owner to potentially wound up in urgent care due to how bacterial cat bites are. Also, according to the other reviews, the business and professionalism is clearly not so great either. Spend your hard-earned money at a REAL vet office.

This is why I hate Yelp.all of these people complaining about this place as if it's the worst ever. Not true. I've been going here for years for my 3 dogs and the wait is never more than 15min and people are nice. The doctor is very good and all the assistants try to comfort my dogs. Price is more expensive than cheap pet mobile shot places, but it's a full clinic and has to charge more. Make your own decision. I just couldn't watch all these people bad mouthing a good clinic and say nothing.

This place is more concerned with how much money they can make rather than helping you and your animal. I have given them more chances then deserved. Never going back there again.

I made an appointment via the Yelp app, received my confirmation email and took my dog in. As I entered, there were three ladies working the front end, not one of them greeted us, I proceeded to let them know I had an apt for my dog and they said there must be a mistake we don't take apt on Thursdays. I proceeded to explain I received confirmation and made apt thru the Yelp app.

They argued that they would not have confirmed that apt since they don't take apt on Thursday's. Obviously they did not want my service and at that point I didn't want theirs either, so we left. They did NOT call me or email me to let me know that my apt was not legit. How rude! Poor customer service! I'm thankful I found a better place for my dog.

Took my 1 year old puppy here to get vaccinations for the first time. Was very pleased! My first impression was that this place looked very clean. I was checked in promptly, and the waiting area is big and open which I liked. They had no problem helping me hold my dog while getting her nails clipped, and they gave her a heartworm test, 3 vaccinations and heartworm medication.

After paying and leaving I realized I was in and out of there in 15 minutes! Couldn't believe it. I normally go to VCA but I'm getting tired of paying their ridiculously high fees and waiting over an hour to be seen on an appointment visit! I could tell that the vet assistant helping me wasn't trying to push any extra services on me either. Pet Doctor is my new place!

We live about 60 miles from the pet doctor in Rockwall and there are plenty of vets who are closer to us. But when you find a get as good or as caring as Thor staff here the location really isn't an issue.
