Dr. Taylor retired from private practice in 1999,and he is now employed by the state of Tennessee as the veterinarian in charge of state veterinary hospital inspections.

When our pets first come into our lives, they have unique health and wellness needs. Vaccines must be administered not only for the life and health of your pet, but also to insure your pet is compliant within the law for rabies inoculation. Our doctors recommend spaying or neutering all pets not used for breeding purposes.
One of the most important tools for veterinarians is blood work and diagnostic testing. Blood chemistries, complete blood counts (CBC), electrolytes, thyroid testing, fecal analysis and urinalysis can often tell us if your furry family member may have an issue that cannot be seen from the outside. We offer in-house CBC and chemistry diagnostics to quickly and efficiently provide information on your pets health status. We also have digital radiography and ultrasound capabilities to provide a real-time view of your pets internal organs.
At Taylor Animal Hospital, we take the stress out of your pet's visit by creating a quiet and soothing environment focused on individualized attention. Every client, pure bred or mixed is given character by bringing out the best qualities in each one. When opting for basic bathing services, Veronica will give your pet a custom bath, conditioning treatment, toenails trimmed and filed, eye/ear cleaning, brushing/minor dematting, paw pad and sanitary trim, express the anal glands, and full blow dry.Upon request we will tidy up around the face, leg furnishings and a paw trim leaving your dog with a fresh clean cut look.
While under the care at Taylor Animal Hospital, your pet will be kept in a climate controlled, comfortable and clean space. Your pet will be offered plenty of food, water and exercise. Extra attention is given by our staff to reduce your pet's anxiety if needed. Your pet will be under the care of our veterinarians in case a medical issue arises and any health concerns you may have for your pet can be addressed during their stay. Space goes quickly especially in the summer and during holiday seasons, so schedule your pet's staycation early!

Switching to Taylor Animal Hospital a few years ago was the best thing I've ever done for my dogs' health and my sanity. They're very skilled and knowledgeable. Lots of common sense. I've never had the feeling they were trying to recommend tests, treatment, etc that were probably unnecessary like a lot of the overly managed clinics do these days, The ladies up front are very nice and helpful.
I had an emergency this morning with my 126 lb GP and rolled in right after they opened. They were welcoming and immediately helpful. I don't care how good the docs are, if your front staff isn't helpful and accommodating, people won't be happy. They're great. The Vet Techs are really helpful and on top of things and give helpful advice and tips especially when it comes to handling dogs.
I really like all three Vets. They're hands on, thorough and pretty cool to stand around and talk to for a few minutes. Hope I didn't leave anyone out. I've never seen housekeeping personnel there but the place is always spotless so they're doing a good job too. Ok, you get the message. 5 stars from me.

My mother has been going to Taylor Animal Hospital for years and years and spent thousands of dollars there for her animals. They charged her for euthanasia for her cat after she had spent $1500 in vet bills recently. Don't go here. Obviously, they have no loyalty or caring for their patrons. I can't believe this place! Atrocious! UPDATE: They have since banned her from their practice for her asking if they could reduce the charge on her super high bill at all and her telling the vet her handling of her dying cat in his last minutes was rough.
They obviously can't handle when patients are not pleased with their exorbitant charges that go above and beyond all in the surrounding area and don't like their animals being handled roughly in their dying minutes. My mom went here for years and years.they have no sympathy or caring about their longtime patrons. It is all about their "image" and all-mighty dollar. Horrible! Simply atrocious!

Love! We have a owner surrender/rescue goldendoodle that is 7 months old. They were able to get him in quickly to test for heartworms, provide flea and tick medication for a tick infested pup. The vet even taught my kids about how to test for heartworms and the importance of it. We will be using them for any future visits!

This was early morning emergency vet visit and this isn't our regular vet. Our senior chi was in CHF and had a bad seizure. When we got there it was packed. They seen that our baby was in trouble and took him immediately back and started treatment. We are so grateful to Liz and all the other staff for excellent care. I would refer them to anyone

Always great service. The ladies at the front desk are awesome. The care is first rate, I love both of the Docs I've interacted with and mist importantly so do my dogs. In the four times I've been there with one of my pups, I have never had to wait past my appointment time before seeing a tech or a Vet. On my last visit Monday, we finished the appointment before my scheduled start time. There are two Vets that I know about who are closer than these folks. I drive past them to go to Taylor.

They are amazing! From check in at front desk, to exam room Q&A with tech, to the actual veterinarian doctor along with treatment for our pets. Hands down the best! They have assisted us in giving this elderly dog a comfortable life. She's still living well as she can for 17. Wished we found this group years ago.
