Our entire team is dedicated to the health and well being of your cat. We know that cats are special, and cat owners are, too. We strive to respect, embrace and enhance the bond between cats and their chosen people. Limiting our practice to cats allows us to best provide for the unique needs of your feline friends. Every procedure and piece of equipment used in the Cat Clinic has been chosen with the special needs of cats in mind. We strive to provide a quiet, calm and supportive environment in which the healthy cat can flourish and the ill cat recover.
Services
Our practice is limited to cats. We expect payment at the time services are rendered. We encourage the adoption of cats who need homes and discourage the deliberate breeding of pet cats. We endorse the management of feral cat colonies in accordance with the principles of Trap/Neuter/Return. We do not believe in euthanasia for the sake of owner convenience and we only provide this service when we judge it to be in the best interest of the cat. We do not declaw. We believe that adequate pain management is a medical necessity, not an optional service.
The individual Health Assessment Exam is the basis for determining what, if any, treatment is needed for both well and ill cats. We will gather details about your home environment and household animals, your cat's habits, diet and behavior, and more. We offer vaccinations, parasite control, micro-chipping, diagnostic testing and other services to keep your cat healthy and safe.
Need us to care for your cat while you're away? We treat our cat boarders as though they were our own and do our best to cater to their special needs. Most cats are a little apprehensive being away from home, but boarders who are relaxed enough to allow us to handle them spend supervised time lounging and exploring in our "quiet room."

This clinic is great for cat people. My kitten had grown into an old lady and I was looking for a vet that specialized in cats. I Found it. Most vets refuse to answer my questions until after they run expensive tests. At the cat clinic, doc tells you what she suspects based on the animal, gives you treatment options, then let you decide if the test is necessary. I would strongly recommend the cat clinic to anybody with feline family members.

Doctor Toumayan is definitely who you want looking after your cat. Her experience with them lets her understand their behavior and help separate the environment issues from something that could actually be wrong with your cat physically. This is really important when caring for cats. Also, here's my cat Vera, she will definitely be going back:

We brought our 1st cat to this clinic when if first opened. I always felt it was a bit pricey but it is a specialty shop that caters only to felines ($150 fixed and shots). Some time past and our cat died after 15 years of faithful cat service. We got a new cat that needed all her shots and fixing. Called here first. The prices shot up a ton and was shocking.
The girl I spoke to was rude and condescending. Once priced out getting everything would've required multiple visits and about $500-600. Quite a bit more than our original $150. Took our cat to another clinic. One visit, all shots, fixing, and chipped ($200). That's the average amongst most vets in the area. If you have money to throw or a specialty need, this is probably your clinic. But for me, it was the rudeness of the secretary that got me to go anywhere else.

I really just can't say enough good things about the Cat Clinic. We felt kinda bad having our Tom neutered at first, but they took such good care of him and gave us lots of information to show how this was for the best, really. Since the only work with cats there's a much higher knowledge base than what I've seen previously with other veterinarians. He's been home for about a week and is doing so much better in the house. Thanks cat clinic!

The best cat specialist in Chattanooga! Our cat has a very specific issue with his mouth, regular vet did good, but was out of options. Came to Cat Clinic for a second opinion. Dr. Toumayan knows exactly how to handle cats and was able to get more specific about what was going on with our cat, including giving us additional options and a referral for a feline dermatologist.

I utilize the cat clinic to groom my long hair domestic short hair cat, and I have been a client for several years. I'm sure the veterinary staff is great, but I have a vet for my pets, as I live in Marion County. I only patronize the clinic for grooming, to which I am always pleased. However, the receptionist is rude, condescending, and hateful for no reason whatsoever; just unplesant for no reason.
The Cat Clinic would benefit from either getting her some soft skills training, or removing her from the position. The voice and face of this clinic needs some professionalism.
