Pricey but you get what you pay for! We've had two emergency visits, once very early in the morning, once very late at night (after midnight). Both times, the staff were very kind and helpful, and treated our senior dog with care and gentleness. They provide Rx while you're there and also do surgery. They were even helpful in setting up a financing account when our insurance didn't cover our dog's surgery. Please be aware they have covid protocols in place as well.

I called 10 places and not one place would take my cat what a shame. I called Tufts and was able to bring my cat within the hour of calling. Even though the outcome was not to my liking at all, it never is when you have to let your animal who you loved with all your heart go its absolutely heartbreaking . The staff is very caring and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an emergency vet.

Cannot recommend Tufts Hospital enough. We brought my 3 year old pitbull in this week and he ended up having to stay for 2 nights. Dr. Pakravan and Dr. Cabral took amazing care of our Rocky. They were transparent about the price every single step of the way, called often with updates, and sent pictures. Rocky is reactive to other dogs and the techs, front staff, and nurses were so accommodating by clearing the way for Rocky to walk in and out. I was so appreciative of that. Shout out to Elena who was Rocky's vet tech and Lynn at the front desk. They were incredible. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!

They took us right in at 11:30pm with my dog that couldn't stop vomiting (8x in 3 hours). Treatment was as expected: efficient, professional, and caring. Obviously you pay a bit more, but that's to be expected at any emergency/urgent care facility. Easy to get there also which is nice.

One of the best of both the best emergency services for pets. My 15 year young kitty is back thanks to them. I will forever be indebted to their incredible care as if she were their own family. I held my kitty in my palm when she was born in the cat shelter fifteen years ago and she is the light my life. My family are thrilled that light is still shining bright thanks to tufts

We arrived with a very sick cat. Jet was about 15. Long black fur. Although we just had her shaved down. At least she left this Earth comfortable. The staff here were really great in helping us. And comforting us. Thank you guys SO MUCH. The Dr. was fantastic. Very compassionate. A sad occasion for us.helped by wonderful people.

Tufts is truly an amazing animal hospital and we had the best experience! My poor little Jade is a 1 yo German Shepherd who unfortunately had an emergency visit due to a foot injury requiring surgery and an overnight stay, and every single staff member I spoke to, from reception, to techs, to doctors, to the surgeons, were all incredible, caring, sweet and so beyond helpful!

They got her in quickly with same day surgery and came home the very next day. They explained everything in a way that I completely understood each and every step of what needed to be done and knew my baby girl was in the best possible hands. I have been to other animal hospitals, and no one compares to the compassion Tufts showed to both me and my girl.

I highly recommend them and will be using them for any emergency care my pets may need in the future. I could not be happier and my pup was so well taken care of and loved during her stay, which made me as her mama very very happy and a lot more calm in a high anxiety inducing situation! I really can't even put into words how happy I am and entrust each of my pets lives in their hands. Thank you so much Tufts staff for your amazing job with my girl, I will be forever grateful!

Simply amazing. The attention to detail and compassion this hospital gives patients and their families is unmatched! My first visit with them was unfortunate circumstance (botched neuter) but ill definitely be back for any of my pup's needs. He is definitely a happy boy now.

My dog Teddy has chronic conditions. For the past 7 years, he has been a frequent in and out patient. The love, care, and compassion that was given to him goes beyond words. From the receptionists to the wonderful nurses and doctors, you have added years to my Teddy. As I write this, Teddy is inpatient now. He is loved by all. Thank you for everything that you do every day.

My little buddy Diego (black cat) was diagnosed w lung cancer late this summer. We had chosen Tufts in Walpole because the recommended Oncologist at a different hospital was booked out for months. Sometimes in life, things just work out in your favor. I truly feel this was one of those times. We began working with the Tufts Oncologist Dr. Coffee. This woman is a gift straight from heaven.

Any Oncologist can administer chemo, but she responded to all of our excess emails and phone calls as well. I know I can be a lot to handle, especially when it comes to my pets, but she was always responsive, listened, and was very patient with me. It's very important to understand that when a pet goes through chemo, the pet parents also have to fight the battle. Dr.

Coffee was a teammate and fighting alongside us. I don't often recommend places or people because, in my opinion, people don't often go above and beyond. Dr. Coffee and the Oncology team were the exception to that rule. They are absolutely amazing and even that is a bit of an understatement. I would 100% put my pets in their hands. It's great to know that if they have to stay overnight, they would get similar attention to what they got at home. As a pet owner that treats my cats better than humans, thats all we can ask for.
