I will likely never go to another vet again. The staff from the receptionists, the techs, and the vets, took such good care of my dog when she was with them. Even when she passed, they were all there with us and even sent us a card with everyone's signatures in it. You can really tell they love their clients, I cannot recommend them more

Dr McColgan and her staff are absolutely amazing! My husband and I brought our Sadie in to the office for an emergency (we thought Sadie broke her leg), and we were met with such kindness and compassion that we were immediately calmed. Dr McColgan examined our fur baby thoroughly and explained to us that she tore a ligament in her knee. She also explained all treatment options, and made sure that we went home with medications for our Sadie. Dr McColgan is also the only veterinarian that I know who called the next day to check on Sadie (Mom and Dad too)! My husband and I can't thank The Village Vets enough for everything that they did for us!

After our vet, Dr. George Gibson passed away we tried some vets that were horrible. One 24 hour emergency vet in particular was a traumatic experience and when our little guy Rudy got sick we were frantic after two other vets took our money and pretty much ignored us. Even though he had cancer and they couldn't save him, The Village Vets of Decatur restored our faith in vets.
I will forever be grateful for each and every person there who work so hard and care so much. We will never use another vet. God bless Dr Cotton and all those who work there.

All went above and beyond. Missy understood my need to be with Lil Bits and managed to get us in with Dr. McColgan the same day. I felt comfortable, everything was explained, the compassion was apparent, and I've already recommended VV & Dr McColgan. Guess the only thing better would be a new kidney for my (almost) 22 year old guy.

The Five Forks Trickum Road location is the one we deal with and they are fabulous. Our baby is very difficult to deal with out of our house and with strangers. He has to be sedated and they use gas instead of jabbing him with a needle while he's crazy fighting. He just goes to sleep long enough for them to do their work and then comes home happy and peaceful and loving. They explain everything fully and answer questions thoroughly.

This place is amazing. Dr. Jenkins, and only Dr. Jenkins sees my Zoe and she is amazing. My baby is doing so well with her. I have a 13 yo diabetic Maltese with cataracts. They are attentive and all over any issues. I feel so comfortable with their care. If you can't decide where to take your fur baby, this is the place. I'm so particular about my only fur baby. I trust them completely.

Long review here, but a great one :) Absolutely amazing techs and doctors! I called at 7am panicking because my cat was unable to urinate and this was the only clinic open that early (my regular clinic didn't open until 8). Dr. Mathews answered the phone and graciously said yes to examining Benji for a urinary blockage or to see if it was just a UTI (I was trying to avoid the BluePearl exam fee.) I also later found out that she was not even technically working that day, she was only there for some paperwork.
It turned out Benji did have a urinary blockage, but Dr. Mathews first tried to clear it with a muscle relaxer to spare me (and Benji) the surgery. Unfortunately, he did end up needing the surgery. Dr. Nargund took over for Dr. Mathews and did the surgery. She was just as lovely and efficient, as the surgery was done successfully 2 hours later. Benji was transferred to BluePearl for overnight hospitalization. However, Dr. Mathews has called EVERY morning to check in on Benji and his recovery.
She has answered all my (high maintenance and worried cat mom) questions with patience and details, even though Benji isn't even her active patient anymore. She has been 100x more helpful than BluePearl has been, who didn't give me any good answers about what to expect and what was normal, and only supplied vague explanations. Benji is home and healing, and I am so grateful for Dr. Mathews and the staff here for working with me when I was a panicked and crying mess. even though they're not even technically an emergency clinic.
Both doctors clearly know what they're doing and know how to do it well. They are also incredibly patient and kind, which is soothing to a panicked and a bit traumatized pet parent. I will definitely switch my cats' primary care vet clinic to here. if Benji ever lets me take him in a hospital again.

I took my puppy in for a puppy check after I brought him home from the breeder. I was told that only one testicle has descended. I told the vet that i did not want to neuter my dog. I asked clearly if this will lead to any problems. I was assured that this would not lead to any problems and just simply the testicle that has not descended would not be an issue.
I was told that more than once and at more than one visit. Two months later, when I am in with my dog for his 3rd booster, I am now being told how serious the condition is and that he needs to be neutered. I was lied to at the puppy check up I depended on. Now I have a dog that needs to neutered that I can not return to the breederbecause the window has lapsed. I also now have a family that has bonded with the dog. I repeat the vet just simply lied about the seriousness of the undescended testicle

Nothing short of exceptional care. My pup was sick and they were able to squeeze her in for an exam today. Staff showed care and compassion from start to finish. Saw Jessica Jenkins who was fabulous. She was thorough, answered all my questions and provided peace of mind. I am grateful to have such a wonderful vet so close to home!

My dogs have been patients for many years and I cannot say enough about the kind, compassionate care we receive form Westside. Our favorite is Dr. Jenkins but all the vets are fantastic! I am a practicing physician and they graciously put up with my questions. home remedies and oppinions! Thank you for all the care you are giving my 17 yo dog Coach now! We love you, we appreciate you and we thank God for you! Alise Jones-Bailey MD Buckhead FUnctional Medicine

I have been taking my cats to The Village Vets and Dr. Stephens for the past four years and am always so happy with the quality of care they provide! All of the vets and staff are so friendly and really care about the pets. For example, one of my cats was having pretty severe tooth pain and I couldn't get her a dental cleaning for a number for weeks. Dr. Stephens helped get me an expedited appointment at another one of The Village Vets locations, even though they already had a pretty busy schedule.
The vets and techs always call or email to follow up on my cats and are always very responsive when I send emails. I will continue to take my pets to The Village Vets and recommend them to anyone else!

The village vets are the best. We've been going to the Buckhead location ever since the pandemic started and now followed them to the Westside location. Dr. Mathews and her coworkers do an excellent job and I absolutely trust them with all the needs of our two cats and one dog. They go above and beyond to take care of pets.

I will never leave my dog with another vet for boarding. Village vets is the best facility that I have ever been to. State of the art and very clean. Smells fresh and the staff is awesome. My dog has severe anxiety and bites. He is so happy at village vets and at ease with their happy camper program. They send me daily updates with pictures. Take your pet there. You and your fur baby will love it.
