Loving Touch's doors first opened over 25 years ago, in Stone Mountain as Atlanta's first holistic veterinary practice. While Loving Touch Animal Center specializes in holistic and alternative veterinary medicine, we use an integrative approach towards treating our patients. Integrative medicine is a blend of Western and Eastern philosophy-incorporating the best of both, and then tailoring an approach based on the needs of the individual patient. Although the largest part of the medicine we practice at Loving Touch is Eastern in origin i.e.

Wellness exams are very important in caring for our four-legged friends, particularly those that are geriatric. Early diagnosis of any major illness is of benefit to the health of the animal involved. As part of your pet's annual vaccination program, we will give your pet a thorough physical exam. This procedure allows us to determine the overall physical health of your pet.
Loving Touch Animal Center offers a variety of surgical options to help treat and maintain the well being of our animal companions. We use a pulse oximeter that allows for proper monitoring of the anesthetized patient and state of the art anesthetics, both inject able and inhalant that have the geriatric patient in mind.

My older JRT needed help for her arthritis. We've been doing water therapy, laser and land exercises. Also acupuncture and chiropractic. Helps my sweet older pup feel better. Love love love Margie, Jesus and Dr Tilghman. All the team here is great. They truly care about the 4 leggeds.

I tried to work with them for a year. They did nothing to actually help my puppy. They gave the wrong vaccine for her age. We were treating for a yeast infection that they did a culture on. After the medication ran out she was still having the issue. They would not give her more medicine nor did they have time to see her in a timely amount of time. I have since seen a different vet that has cleared all issues up on the first visit. Oh by the way they also kept saying she had Addison which turned out to be so untrue.

Bad experience - they have lost two pets recently that were boarded! They did not show urgency in locating our family's lost pet. They removed his collar, left him on a run and he got off and out of the fence. Incompetence! We saw the fence was in disrepair and had weaknesses, plus our pet was not supervised properly, and allowed to run away. They did not really do much to locate him, and were slow to report sightings to the owner, so we could search for him. Negligent and irresponsible.

The staff and the vet were absolutely amazing! They were perfect with my dog. Very efficient and thorough. And barely any waiting time and the appointment was quick. Being new to the area I really appreciate having somebody treat my dogs like their family. I definitely have found my new vet!

LTAC is the best! Drs Michelle and Rosie are wonderful as is the entire staff. My Molly has an autoimmune disease with many issues. They have brought her from weak and frail to a happy healthy dog. They treat us like family and always have time for her. I honestly don't think she'd be here today without them.

Loving Touch is Amazing! Our 15 year old dog was diagnosed with a nasal tumor March 2019 and given a few months to live. Someone suggested I take her to Dr Michelle and I am so glad I did. It is now almost May 2020 and our dog, Gracie is still with us and living a comfortable life thanks to Dr Michelle and her wonderful staff!

Dr. Michelle and Dr. Rosie are both so incredible. They have helped my pittie recover from a knee injury and have helped manage her arthritis. The aquapuncture gives the benefits of acupuncture but without my pup having to sit still for 15 minutes. We are now regulars that are willing to drive over an hour each way for them! Great!

Dr. Michelle and her staff are very kind, welcoming, and compassionate. They really took the time to get to know both me and my cat in order to provide and recommend the best treatment. My senior cat receives acupuncture and electromagnetic therapy for her arthritis and organ health. Dr. Michelle is very careful to listen to my cat to know when my cat is tired and ready to stop treatment. My family and cat are grateful for Loving Touch for being so caring!

Dr Michelle is so caring, and works WONDERS with my Standard Poodle. A combination of acupuncture and chiropractic care has been a Godsend. I have recommended Dr Michele to family and friends many times. I'm not sure what issues folks leaving 1 star reviews have had, but all my experiences have been outstanding. Dr Michele has helped my baby when his regular vet could not.

I just wish the practice wasn't so far from my home, as I would use them for all my vet needs. However, I am more than thankful that they are here and available when my dog is in pain and suffering, as I *know* he will be feeling 100% when we leave
