Heated and air-conditioned boarding facilities with special care options for pets with special needs. Our Mission is to stay true to the spirit of veterinary medicine developed by our founder, Dr. E. C. Peck, and continued by his successor Dr. Merlin Oswalt: to provide compassionate care at reasonable prices to all those who love their animal friends.
As pet owners ourselves, we truly understand and honor the value of the human-animal bond and we consider it a privilege to work with you as a team to provide your pets with the care they need for a long, healthy and rewarding life.

Western Hills Veterinary Clinic is proud to serve the Middletown OH area for everything pet related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Stephanie Burk, who is a licensed, experienced Middletown veterinarian. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise.
I graduated from The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988 and after a year doing mixed practice work in Maineville, Ohio I moved back to Middletown and went to work for Dr. Oswalt at Western Hills Veterinary Clinic. It was definitely a homecoming for me in more ways than one, because Dr. Oswalt and before him Dr. Peck - the first owner of Western Hills - were our family pets' veterinarians, so I had wonderful role models. In addition, my grandfather Sidney Cape worked as kennelman for Dr. Peck back in the early days of the practice, somewhere in the 1950's.
Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately.
Here you'll find all the information you need about Western Hills Veterinary Clinic and how we can help you. We have online forms for just about everything related to our Middletown veterinary clinic, and information, including a virtual office tour and what to expect during your pet's visit. The grieving process includes accepting the reality of your loss, accepting that the loss and accompanying feelings are painful, and adjusting to your new life that no longer includes your pet.How do I tell my family?

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness, Value You are the worst vet in Ohio. Do not say you're open if you are not. The staff here are the absolute worst humans on earth. You do not care about pets or their health. I have one less pet because of this place being ran by liars. I hope you close down soon. Thanks have a terrible day
