Staff was attentive, caring, and thorough. I was really impressed with the entire experience. When an organization treats animals like mothers to their children, you know you're getting the best treatment. Sometimes, bringing your pet to vet can be stressful, but at least you know your beloved pets are in the best hands.

I'm extremely disappointed in this vet to be honest. They were kind but that's the only good thing I can say. It was our first and last visit here. First and foremost the prices are outrageous. This must be the most expensive vet we've ever been to. Once you are committed to the intial prices you're pretty much locked in to the services they say you need at that point.

We paid $450 for an exam, ear testing, and a few medications. That's bad but not the worst part. It's been about three months later and our poor baby is just as bad as she was before spending this money. Truthfully the right move at this point would be to get a refund but I'm sure that wouldn't happen. I would advise to check out another get l unless you want to spend a large amount of money for your dog to not get better.

We just brought, a 3-5 week old kitten in. If you're a new client, the wait is definitely worth it! Everyone we talked with and saw all were very friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to being with you all for a good long time.

Very clean and welcoming environment. Front staff was pleasant and waiting room was great- had puzzles to keep my 3 year old busy, and offered coffee and water. Also large space to keep your pet away from others. Dr. Rubinstein was great with my pet, very knowledgeable, and explained everything I needed to know. I did not feel rushed which is always a plus. Will definitely be recommending him to anyone with a pocket pet!

We adopted a problem-child bearded dragon 8 months ago, and since then Dr. Rubinstein here has saved his life at least once. He is delightful to work with, and he obviously knows these animals inside-and-out; no amount of Googling and herp forum posting compared to one consultation with him, and we were never upsold on services or tests. He made sure we knew our options and communicated how practically helpful any particular test would be. Also, the front desk has always been especially responsive on the phone, and welcoming when we come in! Your animal is safe here - exotic or otherwise.

Everyone was always unbelievably kind and accommodating. They saw my pup last minute when she wasn't doing well. Unfortunately she wasn't going to get better, as anticipated, and the doctor explained my options to me. Ultimately we decided that the best thing to do was to put her down. I took her home and brought her back the next day. They walked us into a room immediately and explained next steps.

They allowed us to take our time and continued to reiterate that we could take as much time as we needed with her. When it was all over, they gave me her paw print in a clay mold and allowed us to leave through a side door. I greatly appreciate the kindness and humanity for me and my dog. I then received a hand written sympathy card in the mail shortly after.

While I'm not ready to have another dog any time soon, because of the way I was treated I'll 100% be back. Thank you again to everyone at Care for looking after my Sophie!

Had a small little emergency with my 2 yr old golden and my current vet couldn't take him in for at least a week. I did some research and found Care Animal Hospital, called to see if they could see him and like magic they fit him in and took the best care of him as well. Needless to say by the end of my entire experience between the great customer service and wonderful care they provided for my sweet boy, they now my new vet!

Really enjoy it here! It feels like a vet should feel, my dog is comfortable going here and they are so amazing at answering questions and explaining all the needed services. You leave feeling great about each visit instead of leaving like you paid a small fortune for unnecessary things. Highly recommend this place!

Dr. Rachel and her team came out to trim my piggy's hooves and tusk. They were incredible! They took the time to calm him down and were very quick and efficient. I almost don't want to talk about how amazing they were so they don't get booked up for the next time I need them! Thank you so much!

These guys have been taking care of my dog Charlie for the past 3 years, and every visit has been truly compassionate. They did everything they could to make sure Charlie got the best care possible. Unfortunately, Charlie was 15 years old when his body shut down, and I had to euthanize him. This team helped to make the experience as humane as possible. I appreciate all they did. I just wish they had a way to help me stop crying. I miss my boy.

Our lab Izzy went in for an emergency exam today due to acute vomiting. We are from out of town and I have to say from the phone call to schedule visit to the entire staff they made us feel welcome and seen our sweet Izzy right away. Thank you Dr Diaz for caring for our very loved Izzy.

Terrible vet. Very expensive and difficult to work with. They will not give simple Rx's for flea and tick or heart worm unless you show up in person and pay their $200 fee for checkup. I've been taking my dog here for years and have had an issue with them every 3 months. I call and call and it takes days for them to return your call. Only to have them tell you you need to pay their ridiculously high costs before they'll give you anything. Ridiculous! Do not take your pet here! They're just trying to get your $$$!

Well I decided to give them another try, since they are so close to my house. But they failed again. Prices do not match what you are charged in the location. Everything is a bait and switch. When I ask why the prices are different I was told they are working hard to fix this. And there wasn't anyone on location to escalate my problem to. Pretty much told me to go home and they will call to let me know if they can honor there online prices.

We have been using this veterinary care for years but I hadn't had to take a pet there in quite a while but a new look new doctors new building it's very very nice and the people there were very kind and did an awesome job in diagnosing my son. my little fur baby. And getting us in and out of there in a reasonable amount of time I truly appreciated it I wish I had remembered the doctors name as she was very nice and kind and fair I really like care of used them for years and they haven't changed if anything it's for the better still a good place to take your pet and very reasonable.

I rescued a weimaraner that was neglected and very sick. Poor girl could barely walk and was practically blind. I took her to Care Animal Hospital and was seen by Dr. Shedden. Avon was diagnosed with diabetes and her eye was so bad that it may need to be surgically removed. Dr. Shedden immediately gave her all sorts of antibiotics and insulin. I was new at this thus didn't kmow much about diabetes.

I would call Dr. Shedden frequently with questions and she would reply immediately and addressed all my concerns. Dr. Shedden is very kind and cares for her animals. I've never met a vet with such love and kindness. We, and Avon are very grateful to her. Avon has improved tremendously. Her eye has healed, she's is happy and playful. Thank you Dr. Shedden for saving Avon. P.s. wonderful staff.

Recently moved to the area and was referred to them by UrgentVet. They were all so nice and helpful. We have two black labs and they needed up to date vaccinations. We had to wait in the car due to "rona" but they made the process so easy.

Stay away, this place is a joke. And at all costs do not sign up for their wellness plan. The second appt I had with my 5 mos old puppy. They came to get her in lobby, took her back to a room. Not sure what they did because when they brought her out their was no communication. Vet tech handed me leash and said she will check you out at desk. How about some sort of information about how the puppy is doing etc. VERY POOR SERVICE. Emailed and called 3 times to speak with Office Manager and no response.

This place is all about money, not your pet. They charge $9.00 more per pill for trifexis than my other vet. If you buy their "plan" they force you to pay even if your pet dies. This place is a stone cold business.

Excellent pet hospital. Took our bearded dragon and Dr. Rubinstein was very knowledgable and answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns. The reception was very friendly. Overall great clean and friendly place to take your pet.

A few months ago, I took my recently adopted two month old kitten in because he was acting lethargic and could barely breathe, sat in the exam room for what felt like hours before anyone came in to check on us. vet looked him over and came back to tell me that basically he's a lost cause and that I should think about euthanizing him. didn't even attempt to give me medication to help my kitten feel any better. went to the Tampa Bay Humane Society Vet a couple days later, and turned out my kitten had an Upper Respiratory Infection (kennel cough) and he received medication for it (it also cost a lot less for medication and they ran two tests on him) my kitten is now 7 months old and healthier than ever. I do not recommend going here, it's expensive and a waste of time.

Don't go here. Rip off. Was told different things by different vets at the same location. Wasted my money on an exam. Very disappointed.

This was my first time coming here. I was impressed with how big this place is. I'm used to going to a small vets office. It has a cabin-like quality which caught my attention and was nice. When I walked in they had a few people waiting. I was impressed by how many people/animals were waiting for it being a Saturday. But I'm guessing they work Monday-Friday like me so Saturday's are best.

Which to be honest is a a major plus for me. The vet technician and the doctor that took care of my dog were very nice. You can tell they like what they do and truly care for your pet. Overall my experience was good. My only complaint was that I had a bit of a wait, but I saw that they were busy so I didn't let it bother me.

Our usual Vet didn't have any availability so we came here because our baby was limping. They fit us in right away and were compassionate with our baby. They explained everything to us and didn't rush us even though they were busy. I am so glad they were here for us. I definitely recommend them.

I know this review sections probably isn't meant for this type of message, I just really needed to get this out. A little over a week ago, I brought my budgie, Phoenix into Care Animal Hospital because I had noticed a growth by his wing. It was there that I met a wonderful staff that cared about every animal they came across. Dr. Rubinstein told us that Phoenix had a tumor that needed surgical intervention, otherwise the rest of his life would be full of pain and infection.

Of course I was concerned and scared, wondering if my little boy would survive something so intense being only a 38 gram budgie. But the desire to help him not suffer outweighed the concerns I had. Fast forward to a week later (2 days ago, August 14th, 2019) we bring him in for his surgery. I really tried to push aside the negative thoughts and tried my best to comfort Phoenix.

After all, I was eager to get him back and start to take care of him. Only a few hours later, I'd found out that Phoenix's small body could not handle the anesthesia. Despite attempts to resuscitate him, he just continued to decline until he passed. Following this story, I wanted to thank the staff at care for everything they did for us and our budgie. Dr. Rubinstein for being so nice and so caring towards my Phoenix when he first met him, and when he attempted to operate, to anyone who may have been in the surgery room.

You all did your absolute best to save my budgie's life and that's all I could have asked for. I'm sure he was comfortable and relaxed in the care of you all. Lastly i am grateful beyond words for the compassion and sympathy he expressed when he came to talk to us, and the cute little box that was made for Phoenix to rest in. I am convinced Dr. Rubinstein and the rest of the Care staff are angels in disguise.

Though I am heartbroken from the loss of Phoenix, I am grateful for the lengths gone to for him, and for making sure through this grieving process, guilt is the last thing I should feel. Thank you all so much.

Just moved in the neighborhood and was recommended to come here. And I couldn't be more happier. They treat the pets well. It's clean and very reasonably price. The people who there are also very courteous and friendly

Great service, love the care and attention they give here. Never too busy to get us in quickly. The only downside is it is a very expensive vet but am willing to pay a little extra for the good experience.

I went in to get antibiotics for my dogs paw (she had an infection). They refused to give my dog antibiotics. They gave her topical medications only and a bill for $215. Total waste of money, and it took almost 2 hours. I will NEVER come back to this place UPDATE My dog also got kennel cough from this place.

After moving to the area a couple years ago, a friend recommended them to us. The place is clean and staff very professional and friendly. You can tell they love animals and take great care of them. When we brought our dog in, he could barely use his back legs anymore and was dragging them around most of the time. We were so leery of the laser therapy idea but had tried everything else without success.

So glad they pushed us towards that. Now, halfway through his treatment, he is running and jumping around again, and obviously loves everyone that works there. It is a miracle. We have had some very long waits at times, even if we had an appointment, but that is the only negative I can think of. They take great care of our fur babies which is what matters most. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I've finally found a vet with the level of personal care, kindness and professionalism I was looking for! My first visit to CARE made we realize why that's their name. they truly care! Filling out paperwork while trying to hold onto an excited 100 lb pup is a daunting task, so I was extremely pleased when I was immediately escorted to an exam room where I could fill out the form (only one required!) and my dog was contained but could roam free.

The technician was so friendly, and put my dog more at ease than I've ever seen him at the vet. he actually sat on the scale- may not sound like much, but huge for him! The vet was wonderful, she was on the ground with him, checking everything out but also keeping him relaxed & playful. He gave everyone lots of kisses!

My husband and I are the proud owners of a very sweet and loving calico cat. However, she is shy and *very uncomfortable* with any traveling, or even other people, until she warms up to that person. On the last vet visit we took her on (out of state), she was literally in my lap, shoving her head as far into my stomach as possible, just shaking from being so scared and terrified.

It really broke my heart to put her through this every year. Tired of putting her through this kind of trauma, my husband and I decided to try out Care Animal Hospital's house call service. We could not be more pleased! 3 young, professional and passionate women (one vet and two assistants) came to our home and gave our cat her yearly check up.

Everyone was just lovely to work with. Our cat was rattled that strangers were in her space but it was no where near the level of discomfort she experienced traveling to a vet. Of course, house calls cost extra but it was worth every penny to us. We will surely continue to use this service and are so happy it's available! :) Thank you, Care Animal Hospital!
