Services
The grieving process includes accepting the reality of your loss, accepting that the loss and accompanying feelings are painful, and adjusting to your new life that no longer includes your pet. How do I tell my family? Family members usually are already aware of a pet's problems. However, you should.
When you are looking for a veterinary care clinic you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service. We at Chemstrand Oaks Veterinary Hospital in Pensacola, FL have assembled an expert team of veterinary professionals to bring you the best possible healthcare for your pet. We have a state of the art veterinary facility which is clean, comfortable, and efficient.
1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card. 3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Chemstrand Oaks Veterinary Hospital understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 6 monthly installments.
Veterinary care is crucial and effective for a wide variety of conditions. The following is a partial list of some of the most common. If you do not see your pet's specific condition listed, we encourage you to give us a call so we can personally address your particular concerns. The most common type of arthritis is osteoarthritis which can be due to wear and tear on joints from over use, aging, injury, or from an unstable joint such as which occurs with a ruptured ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) in the knee.

Love this place! They are always very nice and professional. The appointments always feel very personally which I love, I don't feel like a number!

Recently moved to the area, called to get an appointment for my cats to get them established with a vet here. Was asked to leave a message. Left two messages and no response. Has been over 72 hours. Thank you for responding. I do understand the shortage of staff and the inability to take on new clients. I will keep your business in mind if needed on the future.

Dr Elliot is a wonderful compassionate animal lover and does his very best to prolong each and every pet's life. One of very few people left who's joy is to create joy in God's animals

Been a loyal customer for years and will continue to be. Yes, there is a wait and always has been, but they are short-staffed and down to one doctor. They are great with my cats and me, and have always answered any question I might have. Highly recommended to anyone needing wonderful pet care.

I'm a bit disappointed that I never even received a return call. I understand that staffing during the pandemic has been difficult, but it would bode well on business to at least have someone to make the return calls to work something out. My wife and I had been bringing our babies to them for a number of years and loved their service and establishment. Was hoping to reestablish with them, but not sure where the business stands on new/returning clientele.

Live here for 4 years now. Im 1 mile from this place and have yet to made a successful appointment. Never make it past the phone call. Always a new story with these people. Its either "how's a week from tomorrow, we're open but theres no vet in the office", and the latest."sorry we're not taking new patient's ". Who the hell operates this way!

Very caring people, really take their time with you. The wait was longer than it should have been, , but I was told there was something unexpected that caused it.

This is what I call the Doggy Hotel. Whenever we go out of town and can't take our dog with us this is where he stays and he likes it. This is also where his doctor is located. Its clean. It doesn't smell. The staff is friendly. These are all pluses too to the experience of coming here with our dog.
