Absolutely ridiculous prices. I'm trying to relocate my dog and need specific tests done ahead of time. These tests require the vet to draw blood and send the sample to a lab. I was quoted $600 for the blood draw and shipping; I would still be responsible for the $125 for the actual test at the other lab. They were unwilling to give me itemized expense report for the $600. Ive been quoted $200 elsewhere.
All they're supposed to be doing is 2 day shipping and blood draw. They also quoted me $500 to fill out the travel health certificate. Ive been quoted under $50 for the service elsewhere. Nuts.

I took my fur baby in for her first visit! They were so nice and explained everything to me. They were also kind enough to give me a paper with how much everything would cost that way I knew before hand. The most amazing part though was that they treated her amazing. I was very nervous for her but she was well taken care of! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

We brought in our cat Belle. She was drinking water excessively and peeing like a racehorse. PLPH quickly went to work and isolated her kidney issue. Follow up was prompt and we continued to do testing until we had a good treatment plan. I wish it were not so expensive but the treatment was fantastic. Belle is doing much better now.

It was a great visit for someone who is used to chain store vets! Quick and efficient and everyone seems to genuinely love the animals. No pressure for expensive tests and things that aren't immediately necessary- really appreciated that in regards to vaccination when I have a dog who has had allergic reactions in the past! Vet and techs very knowledgeable!

Moved to this vet from VCA, best thing I could've done.my most nervous oldest dog used to always defecate in the lobby of the other place, here he is very calm and has never had a nervous accident at Parmer Lane Pet Hospital, which speaks volumes as to the vibe of the place, much calmer, much happier staff. That same dog just had a tooth cleaning and extraction as well as a mass removed from his side.everyone took good care of him and although there were some surprises, the bill was a few hundred dollars less than what was quoted!
That NEVER happened at the other place, quotes were jumping off points, you were always guaranteed to pay more and be required to come in more. I just feel like the vets here at Parmer Lane are more professional and passionate about what they do. Super happy bringing my cats and dogs here.

As a new client looking for a primary care physician for my dog Norman I am so happy to say I was very pleased with my experience at Parmer Lane Pet Hospital! The office was clean, front staff was friendly and checked me in right away. I did not wait long before being called back. The vet tech ( I apologize I can't remember her name) was friendly and great with Norman and when she took him for xrays he actually went with her.
Our previous Vet office was awful! (minus the providers) It was a great feeling to see Norman was adapting to the office nicely. Dr. Mellott is AMAZING! She was great with Norman, very knowledgable and answered all my questions thoroughly. I truly appreciate Dr. Mellott taking the time to go over Normans xrays with me. This allowed me to have a better understanding. Before leaving Dr. Mellott makes sure you know all your options available to you. You can tell she genuinely cares and wants whats best for her patients.
