Dr. Day provides medical and surgical veterinary care for dogs and cats. Our goal at SPAH is to provide your pet with compassionate, quality veterinary care throughout the entirety of its life. We believe that preventative care is the cornerstone to good health for your pet's longevity. South Park Animal Hospital was established in 1990 in southwest Shreveport.

Our pets are important members of our family, and they deserve the best care and respect that can be given. We strive to treat your furry family member as if it were our own.

Dr. Day treated my dog when I was passing through town on a road trip, and even though she knew I probably wouldn't be back since I'm not from the area she still treated my dog and I with such care and respect. She took the time to answer all my questions and explain everything. She was very kind to my dog, and all of the people in the office were wonderful to us as well. Thank you so much Dr. Day!

I cannot recommend a better place to take your pet. Dr. Day is hands down the most caring pet doctor I've ever met. She is truly caring, friendly, knowledgeable, and loves her fur patients. She treats them with kindness and respect. It would be a challenge to find a better vet. 5 stars is an understatement.

They are friendly, helpful, and honest. This is where my mom takes her pets. My pup recently needed surgery. She was much cheaper than any vet in DFW was for the same surgery. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Day and her staff have been greater than we could have ever imagined! Our cat battled with chronic ear infections and Dr. Day was the first person to consider deeper issues. She truly cares about her patients and we are so thankful to have found her. Registered Vet Tech Megan is amazing with the patients, shows true concern, and always makes us feel welcome.

Dr. Day and the rest of the staff are THE best. Treatment is affordable, they are all extremely friendly, the technology there is updated to treat your pet, and they call and check in on you! I wouldn't want my dog to be taken anywhere else.
