The idea of Eric Averill DVM to provide a setting where the health care of cats could be exclusively performed. He wanted a quiet environment where cats could be treated with the least amount of stress possible. In 2008 after years of working with Dr. Averill at the Cat Clinic of Plymouth, Cassandra Kelley DVM purchased the practice to continue to offer feline exclusive and feline friendly veterinary care.
Dr. Cassandra Kelley graduated from Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, Dr. Kelley practiced at a busy companion animal practice on the South Coast. In 2004, she moved back to her hometown and began her career in feline exclusive veterinary medicine. She purchased the Cat Clinic of Plymouth when Dr. Averill retired in 2008.
After a life on the streets, Victor settled into the indoor lifestyle rather nicely. He did have to earn his keep, so he was put to work as the Cat Clinic's official greeter. You could usually find him on his favorite chair by the window. Danni started with the Cat Clinic in 2020. She has worked with veterinarians for 4 years now.

Above and beyond great care and follow up! Everyone who works there is so kind and amazing at their jobs! They have taken great care of my kitten Bruin, especially recently as he tried to put his head somewhere it doesn't fit and got a cut! As a first time cat mom, I was nervous and called the Cat Clinic who got him in right away! They even personally followed up to ensure he was doing ok!

Brought our 12 year old cat here for an exam. They did some bloodwork and booked him for dental surgery in a month. The vet was very knowledgeable and super kind! We were so impressed that we're setting up an appointment for our 19 year old calico in the next few months. Just be aware that they have their own parking lot behind their building!

The Cat Clinic continues gives me full service on all my questions. Their Staff listens very well to the questions that I ask and they give me a complete answer or will ask another Staff member with more insight for a complete answer. The Staff members also shares excellent proactive advice to help prevent issues or a reminder to help our cats. The Staff does not rush you thru appointment and is always available for any follow up questions after the visit. My 2 Cats are always happy to visit the clinic which makes me a very satisfied customer.

Love the veterinarians and staff but hate the telephone system! When I dropped off my cat, I was on hold for almost eight minutes before I selected the "call me back" option and got a call back immediately. Lesson learned! Anyway, it's a great practice and I have confidence that my cats are getting excellent care.

We recently moved to Plymouth and needed to find a vet for our cats. So glad we found the Cat Clinic. Everyone there is so friendly; they are on time and so professional. The staff and Dr. Kennedy are wonderful. You can see how much they care for the pets and they take time to explain everything. We brought one of our cats there so far and are happy to know that our other cat will have the same experience when we bring her in.

I can't say enough about Cat Clinic of Plymouth. We just hot home from our first visit and I am thrilled. After leaving a visit at our previous vet my cat would be fearful and angry for days, last visit he. wouldn't let me hold him for 2 days. Today, after leaving CCofP he was calm and his usual self, it was amazing. The Doctor and staff were so caring, I have absolute confidence that my cat will be in good hand going forward.

First time here, unfortunately had to put our pet down after 16 years. They were very kind and patient and not pushy to put him down like some other vets can be at times. They let us in despite their strict COVID-19 restrictions which usually mean you cannot go inside with your pet. Their restrictions are a bit beyond what others are doing at this point but they have the right to do what they think is best to protect their employees. Due to our cat's medical condition I wasn't able to experience a routine check-up or medical care but I will consider going back with our other pets.

This Clinic goes above and beyond. We had an emergency last weekend. The Clinic instructed us on how to handle the crisis. We unfortunately had to euthanize our beloved Misty in another facility. Today we received a very emotional caring card from the entire team at the Cat Clinic of Plymouth. Highly recommend the care and devotion of this Clinic. I can't say enough good things about the team at the Cat Clinic. We adopted our kitten without knowing he had an illness. They looked into WHY he was so sick at such a young age, and not just giving us an ultimatum. They have done an amazing job with his care, and they are continuing to take such great care of him. We are so lucky we were sent in their direction for a second opinion on his condition. Mr. Luke loves visiting his friends here, and will be a lifelong patient.

Went there last night for the first time had Dr. Kelley and I can't say enough how amazing they were there! The whole staff was so nice when you walk in if feels so comfortable, Dr. Kelley and her nurse were amazing didn't make me feel rushed explained everything to me of what was going on! This is truly the best experience I have had at a vet! They made me feel like they loved my cat just as much as a I do! Thank you for helping my kitty out!
