Some animal clinics treat clients and their pets like numbers, with the goal of squeezing as many appointments onto the schedule as possible. As a result, the care your pet receives suffers. At Royal Oaks Veterinary Hospital, we believe that good veterinary care cannot be rushed. For us, it's more about making connections, bonding with our patients and delivering the kind of personalized care we feel you deserve.

Rest assured your furry friend will receive exceptional care while enjoying a fear free approach. What does it take to keep a companion animal happy and healthy? Well, beyond the basics, like food, water and shelter, it takes a partnership and a commitment. It takes a team of skilled veterinary professionals and loving pet parents working together toward a common goal.
We want to hear from you! Our goal is to consistently deliver the best available patient care and exceptional client service, and your valuable feedback helps us to both achieve that goal and to communicate the value of our services to others. Please also consider leaving feedback about your experience here so that others may learn more about the quality of our care.
A Veterinary Technician is responsible for performing routine checkups and other medical procedures on animals to ensure their health and well-being. Their duties include communicating with pet owners to determine whether their pet experienced changes in activity or diet, client education, checking an animal's weight, heartbeat and other vitals to record in patient files and assisting other veterinary personnel in taking blood samples or administering medications.
Our goal is to serve our patients and pet parents with quality and individualized medical care in a timely manner. No shows, late arrivals, and last-minute cancellations inconvenience those who need access to immediate veterinary care. We will accept appointments no later than 15 minutes after the assigned time- after 15 minutes, appointments will need to be rescheduled.

They are wonderful and do a great job with my dogs. Their prices are on the higher side but I feel it is worth the attention and care my dogs receive. The Vet performed life-saving surgery on my Bella when she ate foam at my ex-husband's house. Every time they have needed specialized attention, whether from surgery or illness, they have received top-notch care.

My dog had a horrible ear infection and they got her in the next day, and I'm a new client so that was a plus. The staff was amazing and the dr took his time and didn't rush us. I've seen some bad reviews so I was Leary but after our visit I'm happy with the care my pickles got and I would definitely go back, and I used to work in a veterinary hospital.

We were new puppy parents and was a bit nervous about the journey ahead. The staff and Vet welcomed us with open arms, always provided the utmost care, gave tons of advice/recommendations and is always putting Maximus' care first. We've been to a couple others for different reasons and hands down Royal Oaks is the best. They truly care about our Maximus. Thank you Royal Oaks.

I had the WORST experience at this vet clinic. I went in with my cat and was placed in a room right away, but was not seen until 40 minutes after my appointment time. When the pet nurse came in the room, she wanted to take my cat back for an exam. In my opinion, as a new client, the doctor should introduce herself first before taking a patient back and exam him.
When I declined the pet nurse's offer to bring him back, the doctor came in. Dr. Dwyer seemed pleasant at first, but as she spoke to me about the different treatment options, her demeanor changed. She was negative and spoke to me in a harsh manner. She did not inform me of my cat's heart murmur until I asked. She seemed to insinuate that I was unable to afford treatment.
Even though they are extremely over priced, I would pay anything to take care of my cat. They gave me one estimate. They were unable to give me another estimate and stated they would have to email it to me. My cat had an accident in the carrier and refused to come out. The pet nurse offered to get something so I could clean it up, but she never did.
My cat loves being out of his carrier and on my lap, but at this clinic, he stayed in a corner under a chair. This was very out of character for him, considering he's never acted this way at any other clinic. I took this as a sign to leave. I made a comment to the admin staff about the wait time and they just stated they were short staffed. They did not apologize or thank me for my patience. Dr. Dwyer and her admin staff were cold, lacked empathy, and should consider working on their customer service. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
In regards to your response: IF I indeed brought my precious cat there? I most certainly did bring my pet there. I would NEVER make up such an experience to taint the reputation of any establishment. The tone of the response written confirms the accuracy of my review. I brought Jack there on March 9, 2022. It's unfortunate that you couldn't find me in your system, so I have attached a photo of my invoice with my name clearly on it.

I got home from work one day and noticed my puppy wasn't feeling good. It was kind of late in the day but I decided to try to call a bunch of places to see if I could get lucky and take him asap. Literally every place I called gave me additude and told me to just take him to the ER clinic and did not offer any other days except Royal Oaks! Although they didn't have any open appointments for that day the receptionist was super nice and offered the soonest availabilities. The staff were super nice and vary knowledgeable. The doctor was great and vary thorough. I highly recommend this clinic and will be making this our new family vet clinic.
