This is for the general practice. I'm psyched I was able to find them for my cat. They ran every test in the entire world. I adore Dr. Mohr! She was very resolute in making sure no stone was left unturned.

Dr. Abraham is the best! Caring and thorough, and doesn't rush you if you have questions. She or her staff call the day after to check up on the patient. She even sent a condolence card and made a contribution in my beloved dogs name a couple years ago when he passed. Class act.

The staff here are very considerate and accommodating for my anxious dog. Dr Douglas rules! He is very knowledgeable, takes time to ask/answer questions, and is considerate about finances with treatment planning. Grateful to have found these folks after being new to the area and reviewing lots of options. I have interacted with many vets as a guardian as well as volunteer in the dog rescue world. Highly recommend!

I am a dog trainer who has been trusting Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital with my dogs for many years. Many thanks to them for saving my previous border collie when she had a hole in her lung and came way too close to not making it, and for getting my current border collie's troublesome teeth and a foxtail out. Thanks for being there!

This was our first time.we are transplants from San Jose and needed to find a new local vet for our poor sick puppy. Hans. I didn't take any pictures while we were there so attached a Hans picture. We met with Doctor Mohr (not sure of the names of the other folks who helped - however they were all really nice, welcoming, and showed their concern).

Doctor Mohr was wonderful. No BS.shot straight from the hip (which was much appreciated). She had to refer us to a specialist since this was beyond the scope of their practice. She had a great demeanor with Hans who is very uncomfortable with most Veterinarians.and he did not have any issues with anything she needed to do. Then.what blew me away was the follow up!

I got a call back from the office to let me know that the additional information I gave them had been given to the Doctor and.get this.we got a follow up call from Doctor Mohr. All I can say.the help and service was Over The Top. I want to go there next time I'm sick. Thank You Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital!

Been seeing Dr Abraham many many years I love that when my pet is not well I get an appointment immediately even if she's not there everyone is helpful and very compassionate

I had to post this wonderful experience when dealing with a stressful situation. Obviously, if you are going here you have a fur baby like myself. We were struggling to find a doctors office who were able to squeeze us in the same day, which we felt was necessary because our pups eyes rapidly got a inflection and his normal vet had no appointments for several days.

We called around to no avail until another vets office suggested this practice. So I called. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We were able to register as a new patient and be seen in a hours time. We are so grateful . Next upon arrival we text our place in parking and someone with a great disposition contacted me by phone. It is always great to have a compassionate person who listens to your concerns without abruptness and rushing when addressing a concern.

Then there is the Vet, I have to say, we felt so good about the interaction and detailed information, as well as the time spent for our thorough understanding, we plan to switch care for our fur baby to this practice. Great staff, great service, and looking forward to the quality care this practice provides. Thank you for taking great care of my fur baby to all the staff

We've been going to Dr. Mohr for 15 years, and she has provided outstanding medical care and compassion for our dogs and cat. She always thoroughly explains the issues and treatment options, in practical terms which are easy to understand. She is always abreast of current clinical practice and medicine. I wouldn't think of trusting anyone else for the care of our companions. The front desk women are the best there are for efficiency and compassion.

I just took my new pup into Santa Cruz Vet Hospital and had a great experience. I'm a first time puppy owner, and I left feeling more confident than when I arrived. They were very nice and gave me a lot of great tips to help raise my pup the right way. They also got her on a plan for her vaccinations and addressed the concerns I had coming in. Really great experience, and it's awesome to know I'll have their support moving forward.

I take all my dogs to the Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital. The care and compassion are excellent. The appointments are always on time, the staff is friendly, and Doctor Mohr my Vet is wonderful. My first two visits to this hospital was fine but the third was not. You never know which doctor you will see after hours and Dr. Steurer was a nightmare. She didn't explain my pet's situation cohesively at all. She rushed through saying I should ask questions if I didn't understand but she never gave me the opportunity. She blamed me and my cat for her inadequate diagnosis.

She spoke about how she occasionally takes her child to emergency care (for which I am sorry but that had nothing to do with my situation). She was patronizing, condescending, belittling. I am sorry this doctor is in Santa Cruz. Fortunately I was able to find another vet -- not at this hospital -- who explained the situation to me methodically and compassionately.
