A special email is set up for Monroe County Animal Hospital patients which goes directly to the Client Coordinator, Ellyn. Prescription Refills - Include client name, pet name, prescription name, contact phone number. Food Orders - Include client name, pet name, specific type of food and quantity, contact phone number.
Now your prescriptions, foods and other pet products can be ordered online and delivered to your doorstep! Monroe County Animal Hospital has partnered with VetSource, a trusted online source for quality pet products, to set up an online store. There's no enrollment fee, no monthly service fee, and no cancellation fee.

Since we have just relocated to Monroe County this was our first visit. Having been with our previous vet for over 10 years I was anxious about the change. We were welcomed and made to feel at home right away by Misty and Krista was a pro at handling our pups. Our wait time was reasonable and I feel that Dr Harrell spent plenty of time explaining everything and reviewing an action plan for both my dogs' health. I truly felt like we were in good hands!

We took in a couple of strays about 5 years ago, but just within the past month and a half Rowdy got matted up pretty bad from his neck to his tail. So I had to take him to get shaved, but he does not like to be held or picked up. So he had to be sedated for over an hour . It was also time for his shots. And I was so very excited to hear that they now offer a veteran discount.
They did a fantastic job with the shave. Poor guy lost a third of his size and looks like a baby lion . He is so funny looking, I feel bad for laughing at him , but I will have to brush him more often. MCAH has always been so good to our animals .

The vets care about your pet on the long-term and make sure that particular medications don't have negative effects. They work with accommodations- such as my 7yr dog has always had some leg issues and doesn't like getting needles in the back legs-so they use the front. They don't push unnecessary tests. Moved to a town further away, but will still use them based on experiences and care towards my dogs.

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at this veterinarian office, both of my Dogs seek treatment there the staff are friendly and gentle with the Animals i have seen almost all the different Veterinarian's who work there and they are all Equally qualified nice knowledgeable and understanding. Honestly i wouldn't consider going anywhere else prices are reasonable for the quality of care you get and time spent with you're Fur baby. They talk to you and explain everything very clearly. I personally highly recommend this particular office. My catahoula and Labrador both agree.
