The vet nurse was great, but the actual vet here (probably the owner) did not seem like a trustworthy person to me. I asked this vet for the pricing for a service he was going to administer, but he did not provide that information. Asking the pricing for a veterinarian service does not mean I do not care about my dog. I came in for an update on two vaccines for my dog; distemper and bordatella.
I told the nurse that my dog had an ear infection that began a few days ago. The vet then stated that he would proceed with a kind of ear treatment for my dog. Before allowing this vet to proceed, I asked him, "How much will this cost?" He then proceeded to state that he didn't know and that someone would get back to me with that information. (Now, from my experience if a business owner states that he does not know his own prices, then you should leave.
They will most likely shock you with a bill afterwards. There is nothing wrong with asking how much a service costs.) Because he could not give me an answer to the question, I declined the service for my dog's ears. The vet then proceeded to act condescendingly and in a manner that made me assume that he believed I was poor. Just because I asked for a price does not mean I do not care about my dog.
This vet then stated that because of my dog's ear condition he was not going to administer the distemper in tandem the bordatella vaccine. He stated it was not good for my dog's health. Which was fine, but I was skeptical of this man intentions at this point because of his behavior. I then proceeded to go home after the check up along with the bordatella vaccine.
This vet should know his own prices and he should provide you with that information before he proceeds with his services. He should not act condescendingly towards lesser privileged customers. He should not use guilt as a tactic for strong-arming his customers. I would not have written this lengthy review if this vet had not sent unsolicited texts to me and my wife in an attempt to shame us for not using his services. We will have my dog treated at my veterinarian in Flushing. It is a lengthy drive, but well worth it.

I can't say enough good things about this group! My experience with them started with a long call where all my questions were answered and I was put at ease as was bringing my rescue to them after I got him. The staff was warm and friendly, my first visit was not rushed, and a lot of care was given to both me and my dog. We have set up his followup care and not once did I pressured or pushed into anything that was not necessary.
The doctor even showed me how to properly clean Simba's ears and brush his teeth. The best part of the experience is that my dog did not come out feeling traumatized! Love this staff and will be going back for years to come.

Dr. Ezik is wonderful! He is patient with me, and my puppy. He helped us in an emergency with calmness and skill. The office is immaculately clean and very well run. The staff is friendly and ready to serve. I especially like his conservative approach to vaccinations. Well located. Easy parking. This office provides everything I had hoped to find in a Veternarian! Look no further!

Dr. Ezik and all of the staff at this immaculate facility are just wonderful!!! I have been coming here for 2 years now and am so impressed with my experience. I recently brought my 11 year old cat in for his annual physical. Dr. Ezik noticed some gum swelling and tartar on his teeth, and recommended that I bring him back in ASAP for teeth cleaning--which for cats involves general anesthesia, plus a day of waiting around for the word to come back in and pick up your cat. As I had just undergone some knee surgery I wasn't too mobile, and initially I told Dr. Ezik that I wouldn't be able to bring my cat in for the teeth cleaning given the amount of back-and-forth necessary to transport the cat to the vet's office and then pick him back up. To my utter surprise Dr. Ezik offered to pick my cat up and then drop him off, essentially giving me door-to-door service at no extra charge!!!! Truly, Dr. Ezik and his staff go the extra mile in assuring that both you and your pet are healthy and comfortable. And, my cat's teeth are sparkling clean (which the before and after pics provided by Dr. Ezik clearly demonstrate ^_^!).
