This swim is the absolute highlight of Tahoe's (and my) week. We came here to rehab his torn ACL and he now swims weekly to improve strength and flexibility. It has become a regular and integral part of his exercise regime, the water is cleaner than lakes and the ocean, and the staff is fun and outstanding.

Dr starr is so wonderful with my nervous, social awkward, misfit of a chihuahua, tinkerbell. We have a nice balance of in home and out of home therapy

I'm giving this place 5 stars, and if I could give it 100 stars, I sure would! I have been bringing my dogs here weekly to swim for the past 6+ years. And we adore Dr. Suzy Starr, who owns and runs the place. She is so gentle and loving with our dogs and so patient. She is a true animal lover, it is obvious. I trust her 100 percent with all of our dogs.

We have taken 2 of our previous senior aged dogs here for the therapeutic benefits to their health, and take our current 3 young, healthy dogs here to keep them fit, healthy and in shape year-round! I especially appreciate the heated, indoor pool in climate-controlled facility during the winter time as my dogs can get exercise even when it's too cold out for park walks! Cannot recommend this place and this vet highly enough! Super happy customer! And so are my canines!

We have been coming to Dr. Starr for a long time. She has an amazing way with animals. Her techniques are wonderful and she truly knows her stuff. Between the pool, the water treadmill, acupuncture and other therapies, she can help your pets immensely. I think it's important that a physical therapist for animals is a vet; it gives you an extra amount of confidence that your beloved is being cared for safely and correctly.

Dr. Starr is absolutely amazing! She is very knowledgable about the work she does. I could not recommend her enough if your dog needs physical therapy. She truly cares about her patients and is very responsive to any questions or concerns. Our dog Jax loved going to see her for hydrotherapy.

My Samantha had hip problems in her later years, but wouldn't complain. I brought her to Dr Starr. During her water therapy and after, to see her tail curl and wag again and have small walks in the sunshine was fantastic. I recommend Paws in Motion for those pets which have difficulty with mobility. Well worth it

Our pups love paws in motion! We try to do swimming once a week. Suzy and Ashley are great and very patient with the dogs especially when they are being stubborn and goofy. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for recreational activities for their pups!

Paws in Motion is awesome! I take my overweight lab for swimming once a week and she has finally been able to get some weight off. The vet was shocked when she was down 7 pounds in 2 months just from swimming! The staff is wonderful! Suzy has created a place dedicated to helping dogs and her commitment is amazing. I have brought foster dogs there that she has helped. Just an amazing place to be able to bring your pet and know that they will be loved and cared for!

We went for the swimming and came back because of the awesome staff. Everyone is so warm and friendly. They are very conscientious of dogs needing space and their tight quarters. The indoor pool is like 14' x 20', which is huge, it's great for a bigger dog that needs to get some laps in. We go to play, but this would be a great place to take a dog who needed rehab. The owner is amazing, thorough, friendly and warm. She's set up a good shop made to help out dogs recovering and it's really just an awesome place.

Dr. Starr is outstanding, as is her staff. We brought our dog Barley for rehab following TPLO surgery (for a torn ACL). The first visit, and each subsequent visit, she took a lot of time to get Barley comfortable as she evaluated his progress She worked him on her water treadmill, increasing from week to week the intensity and length of the workout, as well as various other exercises.

She also suggested exercises for us to do with him at home. The end result is that after six sessions she told us we were done, as we kind of figured as his limp was gone, confirmed by the x-rays at the vet. The experience could not have been better. and we are very grateful for the professional, loving care at PAWS IN MOTION.

Bear just had his initial evaluation and therapy session. The environment is wonderful, including knowledgeable and empathetic staff. It was worth driving out of the city.
