Vet had me sedate my dog prior to visit. Was in constant communication with them. Ended up being 10 minutes late due an accident on the highway. I let them know. They immediately canceled my appointment. After waiting over 3 months for an appointment, you'd think they'd accommodate even if at a later time. NOPE. I receive a bullcrap message about how they won't see sedated dogs. EVEN THOUGH THEY LITERALLY TOLD ME TO SEDATE HER THE DAY BEFORE. dishonest careless practice

I've brought my beagle to Dr. Stewart twice so far, and have no complaints. I have yet to meet her in person due to covid protocols at the clinic, but that has not stopped the excellent care her and her staff have provided us so far. She seems to really care about not just the dermatology health of my dog, but the overall health of my dog and takes into consideration her other chronic health issues, which is great.

My cocker Bentley, has terrible allergies which has resulted in chronic ear infections and crusty, itchy skin since he was a puppy. Between Bentley and 3 other "allergic dogs" I have been to 4 Veterinary Dermatologists in MA and NH. Because the commute from NH to Westford MA during business hours can be a nightmare and Veterinary Dermatology of NE does not have Saturday hours, at one point I sought out other vets for Bentley's treatment He is pretty much on a monthly visitation schedule.

What I found was follow-up appointments were difficult to book. Sometimes they were booked out for 3 months with the explanation, if he needs to be seen sooner, give us a call. Well, that call often resulted in no earlier openings. And the most concerning was that Bentley's ears were deteriorating quickly and his skin was often a mess. I went back to Dr. Stewart.

Final analysis; those monthly follow-up visits booked almost every time I left Veterinary Dermatology of NE was not to generate income to this office but because Bentley NEEDS these appointments. That protocol of meds prescribed to him, though often expensive, is because Bentley NEEDS these meds to save his ears and stay on top of his infections. I TRUST DR. STEWART and her staff are a joy to interact with.

Dr. Stewart and her staff are the absolute best. I have brought two of my dogs to their hospital and have been so pleased with their services. Dr. Stewart is so thorough and goes through all of your options with you. Her nurses are incredibly knowledgeable and very thorough and caring with your pet. I strongly recommend their care and services. My dog Ralph is so much happier and less itchy with all their suggestions. You cannot find better care for all your derm issues.

One of our dobermans was suffering from itchy skin, constantly licking her paws and body, hair loss, and scabbing on her legs. We saw Dr. Stewart and Mallory on our first and second visits. The first visit was very intricate and Dr. Stewart took the time to listen to ALL my concerns, explained everything that she was thinking Riley would benefit from, and answered ALL my questions. Mallory explained the written quote for services to be performed.

We do have pet insurance that covers a big portion so it was easy to saw yes to all the services. We did the medication for Riley's ears and cleaned them all as directed and Riley got a shot to help with her itchiness, The change was incredible, no itching, no scratching at her ears! We can't thank Dr. Stewart enough. Her team from Tina at reception to Mallory our tech was phenomenal! We are hoping the other tests we have scheduled will help us "solve" Riley's allergy concerns.

Dr Stewart and her staff are amazing! My dog is no peach and they were so kind and gentle and thorough! If you are having a derm problem with your pet(or if you have a bulldog) you should just go see them and get it taken care of! Otherwise, you are just spinning your wheels! You see a dentist for your teeth and your pet should see a board certified dermatologist for their skin! Especially such a great one!

After seeing three different Vets for our GSD's chronic itching, we were no closer to a solution than to having her fur grow back in. This clinic came up with a multi-tiered treatment that began working that very first day, and it was worth every single penny. They even caught a serious, long-term ear infection which another Vet had overlooked just one week prior.

There is no quick fix for our dog's allergies; she will require daily medication and weekly bathing for the rest of her life, most likely, but she is a happy and healthy dog again (and her fur has returned to that lustrous, soft, all-over coat she's supposed to have). She's also got her feistiness and full drive back--a sure sign of returning to her proper self. Veterinary Dermatology of N.E. are specialists and specialists are NOT cheap, but these people are thorough, they are upfront about costs and approaches to treatments, and they will help your animal be well again. I unanimously recommend them to anyone whose animal has allergy problems.
