Reception staff was very welcoming and helpful. Vet herself felt cold. When we were putting my dog down, she brought up if we wanted to pursue other treatment options. When paying for the procedure, the price was changed from what was discussed before we came in. The receptionist was able to figure out that they charged us for him being in the next weight bracket, but that was never discussed with us prior to checkout. They never weighed him before checkout either, so it felt like they were just trying to get more money out of us in our time of grief.

Would i take my pet there? sure. the vets themselves are great, if you can actually get in to see them. and even if you can actually get in to see them they always seem to be rushed. the secretarial staff are lackluster and less than enthused to be at their jobs on a day to day. they drone on sounding bored and unsatisfied with their lives. last time i was there i made two appointments for the same day; the receptionist read back the day and date i scheduled as well as the time and when i get in the day we both agreed upon, i was told my appointments weren't for two days following - which i know to be a day i would never schedule one appointment, much less two. i was very frustrated about this and they were very nonchalant about the entire thing. while the vets hold their weight in spades, this, on top of their prices, isn't worth the extra effort to make them my home vet.

I've been going to this vet for about a year or so now, and I honestly don't know what I'd do without them. The staff is so kind and compassionate, and the vet my dog sees really listens and helps. Dr. Andrew helped me find out that my dog has a rare autoimmune disease. My dog Polaris went from nearly hairless with 1/8 of his usual pep, all the way to almost a full coat of hair again with all of his personality and energy back!

I never thought I'd see the day when he grew his hair back and started running around parks again, but with the help this animal hospital gives us, it's really happened! I sincerely cannot thank the staff and doctors enough! Every month or so I come in to pick up medications for my dog. Price is pretty comparable, depending on the medications. In champaign the same meds for my dog are only $3 cheaper. Also, I know the Saturday appointments can be more expensive, but I feel it is worth it because most places aren't even open on Saturdays.

As a newcomer to the area it was a blessing to find a Pet Doctor just as skilled and knowledgeable as our long time vet. Thank you Dr. Alexander and your wonderful staff!

My male cat had a life threatening urinary problem and Dr. Lindgren took action to alleviate the problem. After 4days my cat was well. The vet went the extra mile and sent home some(over the counter)medication to alleviate symptoms my other cats were experiencing. I have been going to Town and Country veterinary hospital for 15 years. I highly recommend this hospital.

Last year my precious cat had a urinary obstruction, and the poor guy already had bladder issues due to numerous infections he had as a kitten. town and country saved him, he's healthier now than he's ever been in his entire life. he's playful, and talkative, i feel so comfortable treating my pets there

I picked up Harley's ashes from Town & Country Animal Hospital in Normal today. If you have a pet and are looking for a kind and compassionate vet staff who make you feel like your pet is important and is a priority, I absolutely recommend them! From getting us in the day he took a turn for the worst to the care he was given upon arrival, to ushering him over the rainbow bridge and returning him to our family, the staff at this facility showed absolute attentiveness, compassion, empathy, and pure kindness.

The vet was patient with me and my boys as we said our goodbyes, and as Harley took his final breaths, she told him "You were a good boy, you can cross the rainbow bridge now sweetie." I will never ever forget that on the day our own vet of 11 years turned us away, Town & Country made me feel like we belonged there. We will be transferring care for all our pets here from now on!

They keep costs down as much as possible while truly caring for our dog and cats. They don't spend their money on making fancy waiting areas or other silliness like that, they focus on what matters: the furbabies! Love the staff and the docs! 100% recommend!

When my old vet wouldn't provide palliative care for my senior dog, we went to Town and Country. They were all amazing. They helped me keep my girl comfortable and gave us time I didn't think we would have. They now see my 4 month old puppy and we both love it there. I have never had a vet that my dogs get excited to see until now and I know she's in great hands.
