Maxwell was a 11 year old Shih Tzu. He became ill after eating his daily dog food of NUTRO. He had ate their product for 10 years. Sold at Petsmart. It is sold in individual plastic containers with foil tops. I took him in and I was told to give him Pepcid 1/2 a tablet daily. He continued to vomit, drink a lot of water, and stopped up. I called the vet and told them he is extremely sick and the staff told me the next opening was 3 weeks out.
I looked up NUTRO and saw over 500 dogs were poisoned by their product. Max died 3 days later. It's been a week and we're still so devastated. HOW DOES A DOCTOR NOT KNOW SIGNS OF POISON!

Critter Care is by far the best veterinary office I've ever experienced. The care is exceptional! Dr Robbins is the most compassionate and knowledgeable vet! I never feel pressured into anything and he doesn't throw every test under the sun at you when you discuss your pets problem. I can't say enough about this office!

Amazing place and very informative. Our pup had a spay and they kept her overnight to make sure she was good to come home. I received a call after her surgery as well letting me know she was ok and how she was doing. During the pickup I was informed on how to take care of her and answered any questions I had. They even called me the next day after bringing her home to see how she was doing! They truly care for their patients and it shows through and through!

We were unsure when we had experienced another vet try to milk us for as much money as they could. I read reviews for critter care and was not disappointed. We have a 14 year old Shepard with a tumor. They were understandably kind and understanding that the age of the dog there are only so many options. She being still alert want her to continue to be with us as long as she can. They gave us options and will now take care of our younger dog as well. As a long term pet owner I suggest them for any pet.

A dedicated team of professionals. I'm especially grateful for their compassion and love during the difficulty of elderly pets passing away. They don't rush you out and allow you to leave when you are ready. I've always felt listened to and given all of the possible options with treatment. Dr. Robbins is the best vet I have used. He truly seems to care about every single animal and pet owner.

Critter Care is, without a doubt, the best veterinary option in the area. Dr. Robbins and Dr. Ames have been truly spectacular with our two pooches. Upon the recent passing of our dear Jager, the handwritten note that came from Dr. Robbins was incredibly comforting. During our next appointment with our other dog, Cleo, Dr. Robbins took the time to answer all the questions about the Jager's death and about the current health of Cleo. His kind and compassionate demeanor is not only soothing to our dogs, but to us as well. We moved, but still drive all the way to CC for this great service.
