Animal House Veterinary Hospital

This is an excellent veterinarian clinic for you to bring your pet to. They will take good care of your pet and they will clip your pets nails at no additional charge. The staff is very friendly and informative about your pets needs. They are a little expensive but they are thorough examining your dog or cat or other pets that they work with. They have a clean facility that is comfortable to be in

First of all, I worked here & seen everything. They do not wear gloves or properly sanitize after each pet. It's a complete mess back there and you definitely wouldn't take your pet there if you witnessed what I did. Also, they don't care about their workers and pay LESS than minimum wage - so, how do you think they care for your animals if they can't even respect their workers? Unbelievable really. Well, I hope this helped & you can find a new vet service, cus this is NOT it.

Kind, compassionate, and capable! Been going for 20 years. Would not take my girls anywhere else. They have seen me through 6 pets and the loss of 3.

I’m beyond impressed by everyone at Animal House. My neighbor and I found an injured stray kitten and needed help ASAP. Animal House welcomed us with open arms and was there when we really needed them. Kitty ended up needing an amputation but had to get stronger first. Literally every single person went above and beyond to make sure Clover was okay and that we knew everything that was going on with his treatment. He received the greatest care, and we are so grateful. Thank you, Animal House!!!!

There are not enough words to express how amazing this Vet office is. I have worked with rescues my whole life and have dealt with a lot of different Vets and Animal House by far is the absolute best staff I have ever met. They all genuinely care about me and my fur baby's health and happiness. I am so in love with all the doctors and staff that even though we are moving to Tennessee I will continue to bring my pets here. I have never had a bad experience and am so thankful to have found this team. Thank you all

After horrible experiences at our previous vet, Animal House has been incredible. Everyone from the front desk staff to the vets have gone above and beyond to help care for my dogs and you can tell they have the knowledge and experience to care for your pets. Jenny at the front desk is friendly & patient with everyone. Denaya the technician is very knowledgeable and kind to the dogs. Dr. Tracey Gebhard takes the time to explain all of the options and the costs associated with those options.

It does not feel like they are in it to make money but rather they truly care about the animals. Dr. Tracey took the time on a 30 minute phone call to explain my dog's diagnosis and answer all of the questions that I have. She was also able to diagnosis my very sick dog after our other vet refused to see her. I would give more stars if I could. Definitely recommend.

This review will be long please bear with me! I just got home from my visit with our fur baby Wren and I CAN NOT WRITE ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THIS FACILITY!
First, scheduling appointment! I am a mom of two, who was also recovering from strep throat when I called so super frazzled and sort of all over the place but (I believe her name was) Jessica was VERY PROFESSIONAL and A PLEASURE TO TALK TO OVER THE PHONE!

She was quick and (although I can tell very busy) she took her time with me!
Second, covid protocols! Being that it was my first time there THIS PLACE HAS IT LOCKED DOWN PERFECTLY! From the check in process to check out it was very smooth and problem free! The lady that grabbed Wren from the car was happy go lucky and very personable! From the moment she picked her up to the moment she dropped her off.
Third, the veterinarian herself! Dr. Tracy Gebhard was AMAZING to talk to on the phone.

She talked to me as a momma to my fur baby! She explained Wrens overall health and her Ear infection. Dr. Gebhard was very professional on the phone and I knew Wren was in great hands.
Lastly, emergency kiddo service! Now if you are a mom you have most likely been in a car and heard the deathly screams of your child who has to go to the bathroom.

If not you are lucky. Long story short I was on the phone again with Jessica (I am sorry if that’s not your name) doing the check out process for Wren and I know she could hear my son in the background doing his “I have to go poop” wailing. I apologized and asked if my son (7) could possibly use the bathroom. Without hesitation she said of course and told me she would come and grab him from the car to bring him to the bathroom.

Now with covid she could have easily told me no but she went above and beyond to not only take care of my dog but she also took care of my son who was in desperate need of a toilet. So as you can see this place was overall fantastic. I have taken my dog to other vets and I was referred to Animal House by my mother-in-law and they had made a life time long customer! Thank you!!!

I cannot say enough about Animal House Hospital located in St Charles Illinois. The staff is fantastic! They were very kind, caring, & loving, toward my dog. Mae Mae, who had to have major surgery. Dr Scott is incredible, he is a very. caring doctor, professional, & will always keep u up to date, & well informed. Mae Mae would not have survived without them. I thank God for Dr Scott and his entire staff. They go above & beyond. I highly. highly recommend them. You will be satisfied & happy that you did.

DR. Sage, Bree, Veronica, Dr. Gebbard and the entire staff at North Aurora and St. Charles really deeply care about your fur babies. Reasonable rates and top notch care.

Dr Gebhart is the sweetest doctor there and really looks after your pet. However, the rest of the staff leave something to be desired. I was supposed to call for a life saving procedure for my pup and i did. They said they would call me back to setup the appointment and never did. The doctor left the office before I could get there to find out exactly was going on with her.

My pup ended up dying because they couldn't see her right away and I was forced to bring somewhere else. Their carelessness of not returning my call and not helping when I needed it caused me to lose my pup. They are a great hospital but this has soured me and I won't be returning. After she had died I heard nothing from them even as a follow up. The emergency room sent a card and condolences.

Thank you Dr. Sage, Katalina and Jenna regarding your caring and compassion on the passing of our Sweet Rookie. You enabled us to have a peaceful, special moment in the end. We can't thank you enough. You are the best.

Caring! Everyone is very thoughtful and helpful. We Moved our animals, at that time 2 dogs, to Animal House over 20 years ago. They helped us with a very ill young dog with several issues. We have had many pets and they have always made me feel how important my pets are to them! Thank you

Dr. Pruss is an excellent veterinarian! Very thorough, compassionate and highly-skilled! I brought my cat in and got a biopsy done on a questionable lump and the entire staff was friendly, warm, and communicative. I highly recommend this place, I was very pleased that everybody went above and beyond to accomodate me and my cat Baby! Thanks to Dr Pruss she's recovering nicely:

Many many thanks to the staff at Animal House, St. Charles! Your understanding and compassion of my current stressful situation resulted in a win/win day! Izzy got a day out of her cage, all vetted and ready to go to doggy day care as needed. I got a break from worrying about her all day and we both get to enjoy her much needed mani/pedi! The doctors and staff at Animal House are amazing!. They all care for all the fur babies they see and will go to great lengths to make sure your baby is cared for. I can't say enough about this clinic.

The BEST vet clinic around. We have taken our chocolate lab there for years. Dr. Pruss is honestly SOOO great with our dog. He had some back problems and she came up with a plan to try and get him back on track without surgery first given his age and it paid off! He's back to our usual loving, active lab again and we didn't have to put him through the pain of a surgery at such an old age or us through the significant expense. It's great to find providers that are looking out for your dogs long term quality of life in looking at options for treatment. Highly recommended.
