I haven't been treated so poorly in a while. I brought my dog with a certificate for a wellness exam and spay, and the Vet/owner proceeded to name off all kinds of things I couldn't keep track off in a condescending way (in the parking lot, because they still don't let people come inside). She was incredibly rude because I asked about pricing. She acted like she couldn't print me an invoice for services needed or rendered.

I let her see my dog because there aren't many options in my area but I will not bring her back. I'll drive an hour out of my way to see someone who treats me and my family with respect.

Everyone was so kind and understanding with my very nervous dog. They took time with her and helped her to feel comfortable. They explained everything very well to us and I was so happy with everything. The price was alot less than I was expecting too. I love this vet and her staff. We are definitely going to trust our pets here.

Dr. Steele is the best Veterinarian out there! She has taken care of so many of our animals and the staff is so sweet! I highly recommend it.

I took my 6 month old puppy here this morning for the first time and did not have a good experience. I needed a good vet while I was home for the summer before I went back to college. I was not able to go in with her, they got her and brought her back. The doctor came out and told me that my dog was really aggressive and that she bit her and did. not do good inside.

This came to a shock to me because my Roxie does not have an aggressive bone in her body. She then continued to tell me I needed serious training and that I should MUZZLE HER. I have never had a problem with my vet I always go to and this has never happened before. I do not recommend this place for your fur babies and I will not be back.

April Steel is the best vet we have ever used. She always goes above and beyond. She truly loves the animals you bring to her.

Very friendly staff, and you can truly tell everyone there cares for your fur babies! We are new to the area, and heard nothing but great things, and so far they are living up to it. They are thorough and want to make sure all your pet's needs are taken care of! Will definitely be continuing our animals care with Dr Steele and her amazing staff!

I live in FL and found a pooch wandering around my neighborhood. The only tag he had was a rabies tag with this hospitals ph#. I called and they helped track down the owners who recently moved here and now everyone is reunited. I can't speak for anything other than this experience, but they were very helpful when they didn't have to be. Thank you!

It was not sanitary at all when we went back to the room. One of the ladies that was drawing my dogs blood acted like she was on something and didn't know what she was talking about at all. I will never recommend this vet to ANYONE. ANYONE. I honestly don't understand how these people still have a running business. Then the main woman who came in. and explained the test results that came back on our dog was being rude to the other lady right in front of us.

It was my dogs first time ever being at a vet and it's so sad that her experience was as horrible as it was. If this place stays in business they need better people to run it!

Absolutely wonderful experience with all 3 of my dogs. And all 3 with such different personalities and ages. We were treated with expert care and such a friendly environment. All the staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. I HIGHLY recommend Tugaloo Animal Hospital for the care of your pets.

I recently took my sweet boy Cricket to Dr April Steele at Tugaloo Animal Hospital. April and her team were wonderful! Cricket is a 3lb long haired chihuahua. Dr Steele practices a no fear method of veterinary medicine and spent time getting to know my baby. Cricket made new friends and we are happy to pass along to everyone their wonderful services. Thanks to Dr Steele and her staff!!

We took our puppy here for her first ever vet appointment. From the moment we walked in our dog went into alert mode and was very panicky (which is unusual for her). A staff member yelled at (as my dog was barking) my husband to go take her for a run (it was 90+ degrees outside) because she was "stressed out". So he took her outside to walk as he. wasn't about to die of heat stroke to run her. Said staff member then belittled other coworkers in front of me with such a rude attitude that I was in disbelief.

Fast forward to them finally taking my puppy back (still barking and anxious), but only barking when one specific staff member entered the room. They couldn't do anything because my puppy was so overwhelmed by the overall stressful environment that was created when we walked in. Me and my husband decided to not return to her appointment 3 days later as the environment of this vet made our pup so crazy. Took her to her new vet today and she was a completely different dog and did great.

Dr. Steele has cared for two of our dogs over the past 13 years. We come from Atlanta to see Dr. Steele while we are at our lake home on Lake Hartwell. She is compassionate and affordable and available in emergencies--even willing to help us on the telephone when we are in Atlanta. We highly recommend her!

Took my precious Sugar last Saturday as she was not feeling well at all. These guys were SUPER awesome with the care of my baby. Very informative on what was going on with her and so soothing to the needs of my precious sugar as well as to me!! I definitely recommend this facility for all pets. Sugar is feeling so much better and looking much healthier after only 5 days. She had a double ear infection, skin infection and severe allergic reaction. Great Job you guys!! Sugar and I will be seeing you again soon!!
