exton vet clinic and shannon stanek killed my dog with pentobarbital on december 2 2021 and then concealed it from me. I had to get my baby cut into pieces to find out what she did to my service dog

You can tell they do this for the love and care of pets and NOT about money. Even with my busy work schedule they are willing to work with me to get my furry friends treated as soon as possible. I always see them handle my cats with love, care and compassion. If this was a peoples doctor office, Id get myself my treated here! Thank you so much! *****

The last 2 hours of my dogs life were spent listening to this woman scream about my nephews cc which i was using to pay the bill. She told me my dog will die in 24 hours and yet held me hostage for 2 hours in her office instead of telling me to leave asap and try to get him help at an emergency hospital. She didnt even diagnose my dog and i got an autopsy to find out what happened. to this date she refuses to release axrays or the majority of his labs.

She then threatened to sue me and get my nephews cc taken away. she complians on her facebook page about her neighbors and states she should get paid alot of money for a 30 minute job when it took her 10 years to perform it. she even states her service dog is denied in public places and yet refused to help my service dog and refused to allow me to leave to get help somewhere else.

She has no desire to truly help dogs and all she wants is the money. Its a shame she had to milk 440.00 off of me and got tests ran knowing my dog died right after leaving her office. thats how hard up she is for money.

Doc Shannon and her staff are the best. They love our family - even the humans. Wouldn't take my fur babies anywhere else. I drive from the other side of west chester. And would every day if I had to for my furry loved ones. She also has done house calls for us when we needed it for my poor 6 year old mastiff that had bone cancer or when all 4 of our dogs got an URI last winter.

We have 3 mastiffs and a newdle. And we can't wait to bring her our kitty once she is adopted this week. Doc and all of the staff are professional and caring - everything you need!

This is a terrific vet clinic! The pets are treated like family here. Dr. Shannon is a caring vet who really seems to know her stuff. Very happy and would highly recommend!

Friendly, helpful staff in an office with a homey and quirky vibe. The vet is a good veterinarian who cares about the animals. Wish I could say the same for her people skills. She is rude, unprofessional and abusive to her staff. I witnessed her shouting at a brand new employee who was obviously anxious, whilst in front of several pet owners who were waiting for their appointments. She made me cry on a couple of occasions, due to scathing comments that she made towards me during the dog's appointment. I will never go back there.

I can no say enough about this Practice. My dog has had an issue going on for about a week, and it was very painful for him. My normal vet had no sense of urgency to get him in, even after multiple phone calls. I called Exton Vet Clinic this morning and they saw him at lunch time. Thankfully it's nothing serious and he will be ok with meds. We love our animals like family, and you all seem to be the same. Thank you so much for making my dog feel better. You are all the BEST!

Great veterinary facility. Awesome docs and vet techs. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They treat your pet like they would their own. Five stars.

Dr. Shannon is an amazing woman & pet doctor. Her staff is absolutely wonderful & caring. I can't say enough about how helpful Stephanie is. And, since Dr. Caroline has been filling in, she has been amazing with all of my babies as well. I am very happy that I have these people to take care of my furbabies.

My wife has worked very hard here for 14 years. She is so dedicated that on her day off she is here delivering kittens, she will stay with patients over night and the staff and clients have become our extended family.

That place is awesome n the vet and the staff are also awesome. There the sweetest people ever.

I have had the good fortune of having Dr. Stanek take care of my kitties, and there have been many, for many years (sorry, don't remember when we first met). Dr. Stanek is an excellent diagnostician, she has a real connection to animals. She and her staff are professional, understanding of the pet family's anxiety, and very compassionate. Dr. Stanek goes above and beyond taking care of her patients, especially the ones that are direly ill.

She doesn't leave them, she stays at the clinic to administer care. My Chrissy cat became very old, I didn't want to stress her by bringing her to the clinic, Dr. Stanek made house calls to take care of her - she lived to be 19 1/2. Now, she is caring for Kelly who will be 19 this month, as well as three younger kitties. Wouldn't take the girls to anyone else! Dr. Stanek and her team at her clinic are such a friendly, knowledgeable team of professionals. I was new to PA with a my first pup and was so blessed to have such a wonderful experience getting puppy shots and dog care at Exton Vet Clinic. We love Dr. Stanek. She has been our vet through 2 dogs, two kids and ten years. She's kind, compassionate and caring. Her end of life care is exceptional for both pet and human. Recommend highly!
