We came to Nash because i was referred by a few friends and co-workers on how amazing their staff and doctors are for every baby that goes to see them. So, I made an appointment to bring an abandoned baby that I had found on the side of the road. I was nervous walking in thinking they would instantly judge what this poor baby looked like but as soon as we showed up they had it on file she was found and they didn't blink an eye to start loving on her and being so kind to the situation.
It's hard to be know how a poor abandoned dog would be in a new environment especially the vet but they simply slowed down, talked so kindly to her and me and really learned about her situation and cared. It was so heart warming to see the staff petting this sweet baby who had such terrible skin and not much weight on her bones. They took her back and gave her all the love she wanted, they did skin scrapping, triple snap tested her, and sent out blood work.
I am thankful to report we got amazing results & the staff was just as excited as I was about it. Dr. Childres came into our exam room and couldn't have be kinder, she blew me away with how much she truly cared about what I was doing for this poor baby. I will not only go back here, I feel I have not found a Local vets for my others babies too. From the front desk to the tech, TA's & Doctors this place is a diamond in the rough.
Truly if you need a vet look no further then Nash. Thank you all for the love and care you showed Miss Tennessee. We will all keep working to find her forever home and get her back healthy again.

We haven't decided on a vet for our fur babies since we moved out this way but anytime we called to see how much something was they were high priced. When we were stuck in a situation where we were having to make a decision to put our old dog down because he was not doing very good my husband called them and was very clear on what we wanted to do after given the options.
He was told it would cost about $150 to put him down and do communal cremation which he was very clear that's what we wanted to do. When we were ready to make the appointment he called back and spoke to someone else to verify the cost ( because times are tight right now) after being clear once again about what we wanted they told him it would cost $121.
And change. So he said ok and made the appointment. Keep in mind we could have gotten it done for free at the Nash county animal shelter but we wouldn't be able to be there with hi when they put him down and he is part of the family so we decided to bite the bullet and go with the vet so we could be with him. After we get back to room and all they tell us the cost and it went up $40 or so and when questioned it they just preceded to say that that's what they charge.
It didn't matter what we were told on the previous communications with them. This was a hard time for us all and to get that bomb dropped on us was just awful but had no choice, we were there so we went through with it. I gave 3 star only because the staff were very friendly and explained everything step by step that was going to happen. They were very compassionate when it came to our dog but as far as them going against what we were told twice was just awful.
Still deciding on a vet for our other dogs but don't think this will be the one for us. We like to know what we are paying when we go so that's why we made the calls inquiring about it. Nothing like getting hit when already down and upset already.

Dr. Pam Childress is an awesome veterinarian. Professional, caring and knowledgeable of all aspects of veterinary medicine. Jordan is always kind and caring when making my appointments for my English Bulldog, Lily. Lily gets out of the car and walks to their door tail a wagging. Highly recommend this veterinarian and their caring, kind and professional veterinarian technicians.

Staff was very polite and friendly. They were able to get me in same day when my dog was sick. However I feel the pricing is very overcharged and taking advantage of people. My dog was throwing up, bloody diarrhea and not eating or drinking. They did an exam($60) fecal test ($50) and blood test ($200) and found basically nothing except low healthy bacteria.
They said she was NOT dehydrated yet still charged me $50 for fluids. Prescribed 4 medications. They also did blood work and fluids out of the room which was strange to me. My old vet always did that in the room. 2 hours later with no diagnosis I was charged $527 dollars. I have never paid more than $200 for a sick pet exam. To me that was so ridiculous.
I never signed paperwork at check-in stated I was responsible to any amount of charges like other vet clinics. Was never made aware of how much everything was before hand, except for the blood test. The rest was a surprise. Looking back I should have refused all of the charges except the blood test being it was the only one I agreed to before hand (which was still over priced ) I feel taken advantage of and hope they don't over charge everyone that goes there.
I will have to make the commute back to my old vet clinic from now on. Even $4 gas is cheaper than that place. If anyone knows of a loop whole to try and get some of my money back since I was not made aware and never gave written consent to treatment or payment please let me know.
