Dr. Carlson is fantastic! She always takea great care of puppies! She is gentle and caring. She knows how to word things in ways that are easy to understand and always answers all my questions so I can make the decisions necessary to care for my pets. She is quick when situations are diffcult and I recommend her to anyone needing a vet. Meatball loves her too!

Wow. All I can say is. WOW! What a great vets office! This place came heavily recommended by several friends and boy they were right on the money. The vets here are extremely knowledgeable, and the vet techs are excellent in their roles as well. This place is slightly more expensive, and you may have to wait a little longer to see a vet, but you really do get what you pay for and when it comes to pets/med care, you ALWAYS want the best.
The level of care i have come to expect when it comes to my pet's health far outweighs the minor gripes of a higher vet bill or waiting to be seen. As far as I'm concerned, this will be my cat Keanus's veterinarian her entire life and beyond with any pets i may have in the future. Even their waiting room, along with the intuitive ways they have you wait to be seen, is top notch. Also, a procedure that Keanu will receive will thankfully be done by laser rather than steel, which I am grateful for. Animal Hospital has absolutely gained a customer for life.

The tech Jim was so kind and very thorough in explaining the charges for the day and future treatment plans. Dr. Carlson was amazing with our dachshund and he was so calm while she was examining him. She explained everything in detail and really made us feel like she genuinely cared. She listened to everything I said and considered my opinion on treatment plans. I would strongly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new vet or replacement of one.

We'd had a single vet for 25 years, but when she refused to treat a newly rescued, reactive Pit Bull, we made the change. With 6 vets on staff, and a slate of state-licensed techs, we can set appointments easily. Our vet-of-choice, Dr. Carlson, agreed to allow our Pit's trainer to walk her through proper interaction. That was all we needed to know this facility is the one for us. We've since lost that dog, but the three we have will enjoy proper care for their lives!

This vet is only caring towards kittens. I have two cats, one is 5 and the other is three months. On both occasions I took my 5 year old in, they treated him like he was an issue. The first time, they refused to see him and accused him of being "dangerous" and "lunging at them" because he was growling, although he was never even out of his carrier.
The second time, Dr Murray was incredibly rude to me, made me cry, and had an aggressive attitude when I requested more information on why he insisted on tranquilizing my cat without even trying other calming methods first. You mean to tell me you've never had a cat growling while at the vet before? Obviously animals are stressed enough being taken into that type of environment, and he made it worse by immediately having an attitude.
When I told him I didn't appreciate his comments nor his tone with me, Dr Murray then tried to explain his behavior by saying it was because a completely different cat bit him the week prior, which has nothing to do with me or my cat. When he left the room, the vet tech told me, "he can be a little bit rough around the edges." Then when I requested my records, I see they tried to accuse my cat of being aggressive when, again, he was never even out of his carrier until they put him to sleep.
Never received an apology. They also charge an arm and a leg for nothing. Charged me almost $200 for an "exam" the first time, which again, they never even looked at him. Then they wrote in his records that they were unable to complete the exam. When I asked why I was charged for an exam that never happened, they claimed it was a check up and they couldn't explain the charge since they didn't actually look at him and refused to provide a refund.
They did do a good job with my kitten, which is the only reason I gave two stars, but it's very disappointing that they won't treat an adult cat with the same care and respect. Now that my kitten's vaccines are complete, I will not be returning. I would definitely caution anyone with an older, scared cat, do not take him/her there unless you want them shamed and tranquilized immediately.

Went to this vet for my cat for two years. Staff is friendly and doctors are knowledgeable and helpful. My issues are with the logistics. Their answering service tells you to use the app to book an appointment and then the app doesn't work and you have to call back again anyway. The staff also seemed less than enthusiastic about the app. Seems there could be better apps out there to integrate with that would improve both the customer and employee experience.

I've been taking my Dog here for shots and she had Surgery last year. Everything was ok so far, but today was my best experience EVER! I met Dr. Brown and he was extremely knowledgeable and took his time. He was so great with my Dog and I'm so happy I met him. The Assistant ( forgot her name) was also beyond amazing. The girl that took my payment at the end was also wonderful and super friendly! I can't thank them enough for such a great visit. 10 star rating and many many thanks to both. You guys Rock!

We love the Willoughby Hills Animal Hospital. The doctors and staff are exceptional! They saved our dog's life several years ago when she ingested sugar free gum. We will be forever thankful and grateful for their most impressive medical knowledge, their loving care of each and every animal and the courtesy, friendliness and professionalism that they show to all of us pet parents!

We recently moved to the Willoughby Hills area and needed a new vet for our senior (9yo) dog as well as our puppy (10mo). After researching a few places we decided on Animal Hospital Inc. I am very happy we did. They have been great with both of our dogs. We recently had an issue with the puppy eating part of his bed, and Animal Hospital Inc was very helpful in getting us in ASAP; despite their already booked schedule. They spend time explaining what's going on with our dogs and what we need to do to ensure that they are healthy and happy.
