The veterinarian and office staff I spoke to on the phone were very kind. They were able to explain to me all my options with the information via telephone. The staff had an aura of reassurance and love for animals even though I only spoke to them on the phone. If I ever need to take a fur baby anywhere (minus shots/check ups), I am going to County Line.

Truly exceptional customer service! When another Veterinarian’s office in town refused me services for my sick pet, I called County Line Veterinary Clinic. Dealing with a sick pet can be extremely stressful, but this clinic provided urgent care with flawless execution. From the moment I walked in the door until I returned for pick-up I was confident my pet would receive exceptional care. They we’re completely transparent about the cost of services from assessment to treatment and their prices were very reasonable. They have won my continued business and I will be transferring health records for my other pets to this clinic.

My three girls are always happy to go to your office. The grooming department is also awesome. Best service ever all around: front desk help is great, vets are always very concerned with the wellbeing of my babies, and all technicians are well trained and knowledgeable. Best place in New Braunfels to bring your furry friends to.

They have a cats only entrance and Dr. Conway specializes in cats! We have nothing but good things to say about her and her staff. Our cat was a feral rescue and gets aggressive when frightened. Of course a vet visit can be frightening - so yes, we had lots of challenges, but Dr Conway and her staff were understanding and helpful. If you have a cat (especially a challenging one) it's possible County Line will be your new favorite veterinary clinic too!

My dog got a rather nasty ear infection and every other vet or clinic was booked for at least a month. I was worried because it was getting worse but the staff told me to call at opening for same day treatment. My dog Pinto was seen and given medicine with some laser surgery. After a week his attitude has improved greatly and I can't say how lucky I am that the people here did their job. Thanks for treating an old dog with respect and Pinto as well.

My first experience here was pleasant, staff was very nice and my cat seemed to be treated very kindly. The second time I brought my cat in for an examination a few months later, I was told over the phone (about 20 minutes before picking him up) that the total for this visit would be $180. However my card was charged $243 upon arrival to pick up my cat, apparently because they had undercharged me at my previous appointment.
I do not believe I should have had to pay for this outstanding balance as this was a mistake on their end and not mine. I will most likely be finding a new vet due to this experience.

I can't give County Line enough stars. We loved literally everything about this place; the ability to request an appointment online, the tentativeness and timely communication from the intake and reception staff, and of course the veterinarians themselves. I was able to easily navigate the CLVC website and request an appointment for our dog to be seen for arthritis as we wanted to switch vets after not being impressed with the initial vet we had chosen in the area after moving here recently.
It was such a welcome relief to not call for an appointment and be placed on a 30 minute hold. The receptionist called us shortly after submitting our information to confirm an appointment, which unfortunately their appointments are booked pretty far out due to large number of clients, but they offer a drop-off service where they work your pet in between other appointments, so we were able to get him in the same week which was great.
We dropped our dog off in the morning, and a few hours later a receptionist called to confirm they had him checked in and had all the information for him that was needed. This extra level of communication really was impressive considering most vets we have ever used are very minimal on communication. A few hours later we get a call from Dr Conway who had seen Jak-Jak confirming his arthritis diagnosis and explaining in great detail her exam notes.
We had expected to simply get a refill on the medication previous vets had given, which did help him, but as Dr Conway began explaining her recommendations for additional meds and the list of other options I was almost in shock. I had no idea many of the options were even a thing for dogs; rehab therapy, hydro therapy, accupuncture, , etc. The list was seemingly endless.
I felt like we had real options to try and ease some of the pain and issues related to arthritis for our Jak-Jak. She highly recommended the accupuncture, and having been through that treatment myself I was on board to try it. They were even able work him in to that Doctor's schedule for the same day which was great. We got another call from that doctor who confirmed from her own exam what Dr Conway had diagnosed and said she felt Jak-Jak would be a good candidate for the accupuncture treatment and explained all the details and what to expect from it.
We are now two days after his visit, and between the additional meds he is on, and the accupuncture we can tell he is feeling so much better. For the first time in a couple of years he doesn't pant everytime no he is up and walking which we knew was a sign of pain. We finished his morning walk and didn't immediately go to lay down and rest, instead choosing to start playing with some of his toys. I can't describe the joy of seeing him more active and not showing signs of pain throughout the day.

Called on a Monday morning (they were fully booked) because my sweet pup was bleeding from inside her ear canal; despite never establishing care with them previously, they still saw my Bella and got her taken care of in just a few hours. The prices were great and so was the costumer service. It was under $200 which included the emergency vet fee, office fee, an ear inspection, pain meds, steroids, and an ear rinse they compounded in house. Will be returning for routine care for both of our large breed dogs

I would give 10 stars if possible. We brought our puppy Bailey in because she became lethargic and had bloody stool. She was not only diagnosed with Parvo virus, but also a serious bacterial infection and hook worms. Things appeared grim. CLVC was so amazing from the get go. Very transparent, very knowledgeable and very affordable. We kept her there for 2 nights and although there was no one there overnight, they made sure to call with updates first thing in the morning. Shelly, Julia and Dr Doris were so awesome.
They were calling us multiple times a day with updates. They truly went above and beyond. My wife and I are cheeseballs and wanted to bring Bailey her small bed and her favorite toy when we made the decision to keep her there for the 2nd night. They were very open to it and even sent us a picture message to our phone with her on her bed with her head on her toy with a very sweet, loving message.
They also called around to find openings of emergency clinics 2 days prior to the weekend to get ahead of the curve. All around amazing. Our girl is home now trying to be nursed back to health here and was given a ton of info, meds and food for her recovery. We're not in the clear just yet, but so thankful for this place.
