Lakeside Animal Hospital - Todd H Schatz

I must say I was very skeptical about having the one dr look at my dog. As of now, my dog is doing well and the bill was right where he said it was going to be. I have been going to them for year and will continue. Thank you all for taking great care of my ole girl 06/10/2022 My most recent encounter was far from pleasant. Went to see what was going on with my dog on a Friday and Dr todd was his normal self(I don't want to be here attitude) and he took blood sample and abdomen sample.

I was told I'd get a call back the next day for the blood work and Monday for the rest. The weekend came and went and no call. Monday came and went no call. I called the following Tuesday and was assured he would call. No call. I have yet to receive a call and it's been a week and a half. I called back again to get an answer of he tried to call but my voice mail was full.

It's amazing what lies that came out. I checked my voice mail every day and it's never full. Then the excuses that came out of the mouth of lakeside. Needless to say I got tired of seeing my dog suffer and being so uncomfortable I took her in to another facility and had to put her down. So many things wrong with this experience that I am beside myself. I have been going there for close to 45 years and have had some great experiences and some not so pleasant. This one will forever go down as the worst!

If i could leave a negative review I would. Our rescue pup had 3 grand mal seizures today. My family has been going to this clinic for over 30 yrs and they were turned away. Just handed my dad some pamplets and said they wouldnt see him. Dont trust your furbabies to these worthless uncaring trash heaps. I hope karma gets each and every staff member there.

Nearly impossible to get Dr. Todd to even see are dog, it's been well over a year, always something. Dr. Adams was solid and listened and worked with you. Dr. Todd is just weird and refuses to listen to your opinion or what's worked in the past and is just hard to work with. He has his front desk people Be his foot soldiers. It's either his way, which has not worked time and time again or find someone else. We're switching to someone else, don't go!

I went there to put my childhood dog down, and they were so compassionate. When I left I asked if they could be there for her when I left because I wasn't ready for her to be gone and they did just that.

Our newest mini Schnauzer Sadie is receiving the same excellent care as the 2 before her, she loves going to see Dr. Todd. We have been customers since 1992. Thank you to all the staff for the quality care and service.

Excellent service here! Have 4 dogs and this is the only place they see a vet. Hot spots, cancer, broken dew claws, 2 knee repairs, bite wounds, and probably a few hundred dollars worth of things I can't even remember.

10 year customer here. I was always pleased with this clinic but it has been rapidly declining over the last few months. Rude, incompetent office girls that have trouble reading records or keeping records organized which causes inconvenience for getting prescriptions. Dr. Adam was the only reason we have stayed, but he has now left the clinic and we are following him to Omro.

They've always taken great care of my pets. Very caring people. It can get very busy. At times it takes them a little while to answer their phones, but it's worth the wait.

We love all the great people at Lakeside! They are very good at accommodating people and their pets. We missed an appointment that we had with a technician and they got us in the same day we called. Dr. Todd, Dr. Adam, and the entire staff are great with our dogs!

Dr. Todd and his staff are the best in town. I wouldn't think of taking all my critters (5) to any other Vet! You will always get an answer to your questions and know what is going on with your fur babies. They treat your pets like their own. I have a dog now going thru Chemo and they have been so kind and thoughtful to me and my pup.

I have been taking my pets to Lakeside Animal Hospital for over 20 years. I always receive great service and compassionate care. They were especially comforting when our older lab had cancer. They supported us when we had a litter of ten lively pups, and helped to navigate the care for an elderly cat with many health issues. These people are extraordinary! I recommend them all the time. Old pet, young pet, naughty pet they are there to help.

I have always taken my animals to Lakeside. I have so much appreciation and gratitude for Dr. Terri. (Dr. Jesse, as well) She has been there for 5 of my dogs, and has done right by all of them. From yearly physicals, to surgeries, to euthanization.... I could not ask for a better vet! I would highly recommend her and Lakeside!

Dr. Todd and his team are the best around. Over the past decade they have helped all the Hagerman dogs live happy healthy lives. The passion, love, and knowledge they have is well above average. I can never thank them enough and will never trust another vet as I do those at Lakeside!
