Services
Dr. Sprayberry graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She began working in the Tallahassee region as a veterinarian in the summer of 2005 and joined Capital Circle Veterinary Hospital in 2018 when Dr. Steverson purchased the practice. Dr. Sprayberry has a strong interest in preventative and wellness care, dermatology, infectious disease, and client education. In addition to her part-time work as a veterinarian, she enjoys spending time with her adorable children, baking, reading and gardening.
Jean has been involved in Veterinary Medicine for over 35 years and has been a member of our staff since 1988. Jean is married to local commercial Insurance Agent, Jimmy Hughes. They have two daughters, Holly and Heather. The Hughes' extended family of pets consists of 2 dogs- a Lab named "Derby", an English Cocker named "Dot", and Quarter Horse named "Sue". In her spare time, Jean enjoys family outings to Mexico Beach, trips to the Keys, trail riding, and playing golf with friends.
Many changes in dogs and cats can occur in a relatively short amount of time, making annual visits very important for the health of your pet. Yearly visits can uncover medication needs, dental issues, and early onset of age-related diseases. Prevention or early discovery of problems can greatly increase the quality and length of life in dogs and cats.
Oral health is an important factor in your pet's overall well being. We perform routine check-ups on your pet's teeth and gums, and we also recommend full dental cleanings when indicated. Dental prophylaxis is done under general anesthesia. In addition to the benefit of being able to physically perform the procedures, this prevents your pet from inhaling bacteria.

WONDERFUL Vet group! They're able to handle our rambunctious Staffordshire bulldog, scaredy-cat catahoula mix and our senior cat that is an insulin dependent diabetic. This vet group can schedule the whole gang in one day for check-ups & vaccinations, which is fantastic! They've also boarded our animals for a whole week and our dogs ate fine, and looked very clean at the end of their stay. I also absolutely love the staff, very friendly. We are thankful to have a vet group we can trust with our motley crew.

This is my regular Veterinary office. Due to COVID things were different but I still got the same great service. I had to drop my dog off and was not able to stay with him. The Vet called and gave me the update of his visit while I was waiting outside in the car. She was very thorough. The vet tech returned him to me along with the medications and went over what I needed to do. It was a pleasant experience.

The best tech and vet for birds in Tallahassee! Dr Kitty Remington is a stellar, personable, and compassionate vet. She works so closely with us and is so understanding of all the concerns and hopes for our bird. We have a fairly rare parrot and she has experience with such a variety that she is knowledgeable with him already!

First of all, each staff person I have interacted with has been extremely pleasant. This includes phone conversations as well as in person. Secondly, the doctors are amazing. I have a child who wants to be a veterinarian and the doctors and techs all know this. They allow my daughter to have a hands on experience when examining our dog. They let her listen to the lungs and the heart.
They show her how to check the ears and the eyes. It is truly incredible to watch how they teach her. Finally, the prices aren't outrageous. I haven't had much experience with Vet prices but what I pay always seems reasonable. I don't have much disposable income so this fact is super important to me. I looked at several vets in Tallahassee before deciding on this one.
The reviews are what sealed my decision so i thought i would add to that. If you are looking for a vet for your fur babies, then I highly recommend this one. You won't be disappointed.

Capital Circle Vet is the only place I'll trust with my animals. My family has brought all of our pets here since my mother moved to Tallahassee. The veterinarians are incredibly knowledgeable and if they don't know something they will do research to find it out for you. Jaimie is the best, I've never met a kinder person. She genuinely cares about the people and animals walking into the facility and she does her best to make sure that they are taken care of and happy. As a dog trainer, I fully trust this staff with my animals be it a working dog or a pet. I recommend them highly to my clients and friends of family.
