Update April 2022: this place use to be a great vet office. It has swirled down a drain and is no longer worth going too. We had surgery on our dog and we experienced a horrible couple of visits. Now it's unpleasant customer service and just lost that good vet experience. The more I talk to people the more are saying the same thing, they stopped going there as well. Dr. Scheidt your office is not what it use to be.

I love walking in with my dog and hearing everyone say "Shadow's here!" Thanks to Sierra View, my Shadow was rescued and I was able to adopt her. They gave me all the information I needed for her medical condition, and the prices for her meds stay affordable. We will never go to another vet or animal hospital. UPDATE: I live in Merced now and true to my word, we have not been to another vet or animal hospital. The hour long drive is worth it for the care provided by Sierra View. I've been taking Shadow here for over 3 years now and have only had great experiences.

I've been taking my fur baby here for a few years now. Hands down the best place for her, I know she is well taken care and the vets here really know what they're talking about. The staff are among the kindest people I've met! My little one has had a surgery done on her bladder here-for a great price when looking at comparisons- and it was so well done that she doesn't even seem to have much of a scar after healing up A definite reccomend!

There's a reason this place has such great reviews. After the harrowing experience I had at an emergency vet, I waited til 7am to call sierra animal hospital and got an appt in at 9:30. They were timely, picked up my dog, asked what was going on, and a little while later I was talking directly to the doctor. She placed orders for x-rays, labs, fluids and other tests.
In total, it came out to be 475.75 for my poor pneumonia ridden pup. Totally reasonable compared to the 2900 I was quoted elsewhere. She returned to me better than I left her. Couldn't recommend a better vet.

Really happy with this vet. We have been seeing Dr. Battles for a few health issues with our cat. She is incredibly kind, patient, and willing to answer any questions we have. Most importantly, it's obvious she cares and would do whatever possible to help our pet. In addition, the other staff has all been great. They are professional and kind and always a pleasure to deal with.
