This is the best place to take your fur baby, Dr Russell is the most companionable Vet, as is Dr Biehl, they always make you feel like your the only patient at the moment, very knowledgeable. The rest of the staff is also very helpful and friendly love them all.

I drive from Farragut to see Dr. Harbin at Volunteer Veterinary. We currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats. We've had as many as 5 dogs at once. We inevitably have a few medically challenging fur kids. I trust her explicitly. And I'm extremely particular in choosing a veterinarian.

This is by far the BEST Vet that I have ever experienced. Dr. Russell is the sweetest, straight forward and most compassionate Dr I have encountered. We did end up needing to make the hard decision to put our baby down and the entire staff was the greatest and sent a sympathy card which meant a LOT. I can not say enough kind things about them. Thank you all from our hearts.

We have been taking our dog Scooter to this vet for several years and have loved every visit with them. They are very affordable and caring and always go out of their way to make time for us when we need something. The front desk staff always loves on Scooter when we come in, and they always remember us. We are moving to a new area and we are having a tough time finding a vet that comes close to the care we've received from Volunteer Vet. We're going to miss you guys so much!

They are so great. They are taking the time to help me get my sweet Carmelo better. (His skin had become scaly and he lost most of his fur) I had been to another vet in the past and they just tried to sale me an expensive shampoo and that was all. They have started him on meds and are running tests to find out what is truly wrong with him. He is already looking and acting so much better. He has bad allergies and they are checking a few other things to see if that is contributing as well.

I've been coming here with my animals since it was Alamo (+-20 years ago). Dr Bihl and his staff have always been accommodating, compassionate and professional with our pets. We couldn't ask for a better veterinary service and have recommended them many times over the years.
